I seem to find that I love to reread...alot. I reread so much it seems that I have trouble reading new material, in the sense like a different author or a series I havent heard of. I cant help but reread things. I like reading long series with many books it, such as the works of Raymond E. Feist or Brian Jacques. The authors who have many books published are by far my favorite, because I love to read and read for days on end. Due to this while I wait for a new book to come out I reread older works, often reading everything again. Do any of you do that? Could it be considered a "reading disorder" or something? *shrug* I'm not sure, but it does hinder me from moving on sometimes sweatdrop

Reading Disorder. I love that. Or reading retardation, reading regression, or something.

There was a year when, although I read other things, I almost never put down To Kill A Mockingbird. I re-read it to the point that I think I could recite most of it now. I have a few books that I always keep nearby that I re-read still. Old favorites that I never get tired of.

When you re-read, do you always start from the beginning? I often just open up the book and start reading from there. And I don't usually read until the end. I'll open it, read it for a while, then put it down and go to bed or something, and then the next day I'll start from a different place.

I have tried that a few times, but normally I just start form the beginning. I like to relive the entire story, character development is something I seem to conect with really well or sometihng, plus its nice to go back and refresh all the details

I reread so much that I can remember every single part of the story, and I mean it!

I used to re-read books quite often, but then I started to find so many more new books to occupy my time.

Until I started getting the other books in the series, I kept a copy of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban by my bed to read a little of before going to sleep. It was my favorite and I enjoyed relishing the story again.

Yes.
At one point, I read every book in the house,
So I pretty much read all of them again!
xD
But I've been buying my own books lately,
now that I have a job and such, so I don't reread too much anymore.
^^
Well, except for my manga.
I reread that like crazy.

I try to re-read every book I get my hands on at least twice, usually the first time around I don't pick up everything that I want to.

Anything I truly enjoy reading is worth going back and reading again.

I reread a lot. I read books on my mood, so whenever I see something and I feel like reading it, I'll pick it up. This means anything in my own personal library. If the book is awesome, and I haven't read it in a long time, I'll reread it.

I reread all of my favorite books constantly.

I find that I have almost no memory for plots unless I read something several times, so I tend to do so out of necessity. I am also a fairly quick reader, so I run out of new things to read unless I am constantly at the library or bookstore, and when that isn't an option, I reread things.

I reread alot. It's reliving theose adventures you're read again, it also calms me down for some reason. It does have to be a good book; however, I do it if I can't find a new book in the store or library or something.
