Update August 15th....see latest post
New update. Ryan is now responding to being pinched and touched, however he is still on life support (not that I'm complaining this is wonderful)! Thank you for all your prayers. God does do miracles 3nodding
I would have posted this is the prayer area but forgive me...this is very urgent and needs attention.
This guy who goes to my school Ryan, was at a party this Friday. He had vicodin and oxycotin there plus he drank a lot of a alcohol. He was put into a coma and an life support Saturday. They are taking him off of life support on Monday (tomorrow).....there is so much brain damage.
Pray for him. We need a miracle. cry

They're not even going to give him a chance to survive?!! *sighs sharply* Please, Yuki, tell me you're kidding.... But you're not, are you?
My word... I'm sorry... I'm so sorry. My prayers go out to you, and I hope that there are others online who can hear of this before... *swallows hard* in time to lift him up. As we do-- Lithanus is here, somewhere, and I'm sure he will do the same.

God will pull him out if it is in His plan if not... well pick out a nice black dress. (i know it sounds cruel and heartless but he put himself in that coma)

Absolutely wonderful!! *randomly hugs everyone in the thread* He's not out of the woods yet-- but this is definitely a true step towards recovery. cool *can barely contain her joy and turns up her CD player as loud as she can, unashamedly singing at the top of her lungs*

It can only get better from here-- please keep us updated; I for one will be back first thing in the morning to check up on things.
I love you guys!! I really, really do. I just wanted to say so. biggrin And I'm hyper, I know, but there is great hope for Ryan, and I can't help but rejoice over what can ONLY be the work of God in this situation.

I don't know how the surgery went, but I found out what kind of brain surgery. From the drugs his brain swelled so much they had to remove part of his skull and store it in his abdomen. 3nodding
