I suggest actually seeing the musical, if it's possible. The movie is nothing compared to the live version.
That being said, I love One Song Glory.

Thats how I got into it too! ^^ My friend Emily was obsessed and she let me listen to the soundtrack on her mp3 player. We even made my mom drive to the other side of town so we could borrow the movie from our other friend so we could watch it, and now I'm obsessed.
My fav songs are La Vie Boheme and Today 4 U.

The fist song I ever fell in love with was seasons of love. As you all know, it was the song in all the movie trailers, and I had it memorized way before the movie itself came out. But I can't really pick a favorite. The entire movie and all its songs are AWESOME. Honestly, who can pick a favorite?
Props to whoever started this convo about RENT. I absolutely LOVE the movie and all the songs in it.

I wanted to see the play before the movie came out but we never got to because we didnt get to order any tickets. That and the tickets were way expensive I think. Either way I had wanted to see it, movie or play, preferrrably both, but I didn't get to see either. I finally saw the movie and I loved it. I liked La Vie Boheme and Today 4 U. My bro and I sing the songs alot. I almost cried when Angel died!!!!! She was my fave character!!!!!!! gonk gonk gonk crying crying crying crying crying crying crying crying

My older sis saw it when she was living out in USC, and got the musical soundtrack. I fell in love with it, and was thrilled when I learned that the movie was coming out. Lets see. My sister, mother and I love to sing Will I Lose my Dignity in round, and I adore...well...am in love with all of them. Don't ask me to pick a favorite, it depends on my mood. I'm interested that no one mentioned the song Contact from the musical...granted, probably no one would want to admit liking that song, because they would, in all likelihood, be labled either lecherous or perverted, but it makes Angel's death more sudden. I can't decide if I like her death chronicled and detailed as it is in the Movie, or unexpected as it is in the musical, but both are effective in their own rights. "It's over"
BTW: Anyone who likes RENT and likes to RP PM me, there's an RP a friend of mine set up based on it.
