Yeah, your anatomy could use a bit of work. I find one of the best ways to improve your anatomy drawing is to draw from life. That is, get your friends to pose for you. biggrin

Also, a good anatomy book is always a handy thing to have. There's also a lot of good tutorials online. 3nodding

That last picture is pretty cool. I wish it was bigger... I can barely see the details. T___T;

Click that and click zoom in. Photobucket resizes alot in my artwork.
Those aren't alot of my recent works, but the goldilocks is, and I got alot of her bodywork form looking at my own. The legs were to look like the shape of mine, and so was the rest. x.x So I'm trying, I should just add more detail, but even if I do, it won;t show up on my camrea.

I like the way you used the paint in the last picture.

Well going from your recent drawing(goldilock) I think that the size of her head is too big. You should check some books,because I've read and seen some good ones. You could use circles and using lines to figure out what pose you want your drawing to be then fill in the details is how the people who draw spiderman+hulk ah i remember MARVAL lol that's how the people start off drawing in Marval. I think that'll help your drawings.
Some people prefer blocks instead of circles. But I think the leg+arm needs to be the right size+body portion.
And i also agree with tawney! Realism helps your drawings a lot! and i mean a lot! So give it a try! It'll improve your drawings to a greater range^_^

Thanks for the tips guys. XD The sad things is that I've tried several of them, and this is the best 've gotten, just form looking at kmy own body.

And I like goldilock's head. I wanted it be like that actually, so the hair could look better. <3

first picture: glittery XD XD uh, I love the eyes, and costume ^^ anatomy is a bit off some places.

second picture: nice color scheme. Uh, pose and anatomy are a bit off. However, I really like the girl in it, and her hair is so nice and long ^^

third picture: wow that's an interesting picture, you have got me inspired to draw my own sort of tree XD and well, you can water color better then me...mine comes out in a messy good way, but I can't depict colors so the piece always looks a little abstract ^^;;

And well, you say it doesn't help, my suggestion is just that you should just keep practicing. I'm living proof practice can show dramatic changes (and I don't mean my pieces were good before but now they are great...I mean, almost a year ago I could barely draw a human for s--- and now I have found a unique style to it and can sort of draw XD ...i could show you works I do now compared to works I did either a month ago or even a year ago, and you'll easily see improvement).

Just stick at it, the way I started out was do two things. First, look at as many tutorials as I can. That way, I know a few tricks, but second way is to just copy artists XD lol, I know sort of weird, but it got me to atleast draw amazing eyes ^^;;; and stuff like coloring is just experimental, I can now color on photoshop and I learned on my own how to.

So ya, just practice...if you keep at it, you'll definitly see results I assure you.

Thnaks! I ofcourse wanna practice! xD

I've looked at touritals, but they still aren't much a help. Do you know any good oen for legs? That's what's buggin' me. And the postion of arms and how they go into the body.

If anyone has any by any chance.

I find www.portrait-artist.org a very helpful tutorial site for all aspects of basic anatomy. There are a variety of links at the bottom of the page that teach you about anatomy, drawing profiles, drawing tools, etc.

One of the first things I'd reccomend is taking a look at the proportions of the human figure--- that is, what goes where. XD
http://www.portrait-artist.org/misc/proportion.html
Measuring the body in head-lengths is a very good way to get accurate proportions for your drawings.

If you want tutorials based moreso on anime/comic drawing, then I highly reccomend this site: http://www.polykarbon.com/tutorials/

Those are my two favourite tutorial sites. 3nodding

The first drawings my favorite. I like the sparkles. But the last one is the most impressive with the way you used the colors.
Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more!

You could use a lot of work on anatomy, as you said.

I've found that the best way (for me) to learn to draw anatomy is to:

A. Figure out what the general proportions are. For instance, in a fully straigtened arm, the elbow is at waist level and the wrist is at crotch level. Online tutorials, as well as just observing yours and others' bodies, are very helpful.

B. Observe yourself. Try doing the poses that you are aiming for. A full-length mirror is good, but you can just look down and observe where everything is, like where your shoulder bends and how much your legs are apart.
