I have already taveled far and have yet to reach my goal. Though
i have no doubt of the dragons existence i have discovered no
clues as to the whereabouts. My only knowledge came in a dream.
I saw a colossal dragon, with scales the color of the sea, it sat upon
a plateau placed above a valley of evergreens, a large river cutting
through the forest. I saw the dragon's head tilt in my direction, its
pupils dilated, "Come," it commanded, "seek our destiny!"
And so i follow its words...

I may require the help of others on this journey, two or three, each
excelling in their class, with their help i will seek out the dragon.
I would prefer to be joined by,
a mage of some sorts, one who does not
dabble in the black arts
an archer with profound knowledge of
geological occurences
and a skilled warrior of any sort

Blazewind enters a seaport town searching for safe passage down the
coast. He gazes across the harbor and spots a ship sporting a figurehead
of a dragon. "Follow the dragon's word..." he mumbles.
He heads toward the ship, but is confronted by two weather beaten
rogues; life had not been kind to them. "May I help you?" Blazewind
inquired. "Indeed," the skinny rogue said in a nasal tone,"kindly
give us yer money and proceed about yer businesses." The rogues'
knives flashed out. Blazewind frowned and turned his torso sideways,
the knives passed by him silently. Blazewind flew forward as the rogues
franticly hurried to draw more knives. The first rogue had barely managed
to draw his knife when Blazewind's foot slammed into the side of his
head and he hit the ground hard. The second rogue let his knife fly.
Blazewind turned and the knife grazed his shoulder. Blazewind's hand
went to the sword at his hip, the sword flashed out as the rogue tried to
flee. The rogue screamed as a the swords point came out the front of his
chest. "Now," said Blazewind," where was I?"

*clap* *clap* *clap* "Nice job" a figure in the dark said "I would have done it diffrently, but you do it just as fine." The figure walked out of the shadow bearing full armor, he reached out his hand, "you may call me Gatt."

"I am called Blazewind," Blazewind replies, shaking Gatt's hand. "I may be new to role playing, but fantasy is my forte." As he speaks, Blazewind takes a small bag of greenish blue powder out of his yukata and rubs some into the
cut on his arm, the bleeding halts and the cut seals up.

"Well welcome Blazewind, but I dont' think this is a role playing." Gatt said confused "This is also no fantasy like in your little story books at home because the danger and the pain over here, is real." Gatt then looked up at the ship. "Let me guess, your going to "borrow" this ship, right." Gatt said with an eager smile.
((You know, in Role playing you don't say that you are good a role playing and fantasy is your forte. In this place there is no such thing as role playing. If you need any help in this you can ask me if you want.))

"The pain that remains in my arm shows that this is indeed no dream of mine," Blazewind conceeds, "and as to the boat, you are quite right."
Blazewind gazes at the boat's figurehead for a moment. "A sturdy looking boat; where is her captain or pilot, so I may inquire as to her destination."

"I dont' know where you can find the capitan" Gatt said looking at the dead body "but I think you may need a kings ransom to to get anyone not insane to join you in your crazy, worthless, and highly unlikely trip." Gatt pulled a pistol from the dead sailors pocket "but I never was considered "sane" in the first place." Gatt looked at the pistol with an intrested look. "I always wanted one of these, being able to seriously injure or kill a man with just a twich of a finger has always fasinated me." He then looked at the dead body then said "Would you think he would mind me taking this." he then looked back "nah, in his condition maybe not."

Blazewind smirked. Firearms had never captured his fancy, they seemed to lack the kind of honour that comes with a blade. "Hmm...a wise man once told me that 'genius and madness are separated merely by degrees of success',
"Blazewind quoted, "if you dare to travel my path, sanity is surely something that will be tested, therefore those lacking it will survive quite well."
Blazewind turned his gaze down the wharf, searching for something. "The ship appears to empty of people, its a fair guess that the captain or crew members will be at the nearest pub," Blazewind said. "And I could stand a drink," he thought.

"Now that's what I am talking." Gatt said leaping aboard the ship, he then stopped infront of Blazewind and said "I must tell you, I am a fearsom and powerfull assasin with many magical powers, and what shall I get in payment of going on your crazy adventure. I also need to know what we are searching for in this quest. I am not the person who likes not being paid a good share for going on a quest that has no set course."

"My quest, huh?" Blazewind said thoughtfully,"I have been summoned by a dragon, in a way. Don't ask me what it wants, I don't know. But I do know that all dragons keep an extremely large pile of gold and other shiny objects in their keeps, if legends stand to be true. I don't intend to go home afterwards empty handed if you know what I mean."

Gatt smiled "you know" he said "I would have gone with you anyway because I have nothing to do at the moment." He held out his hand "Gattin at your service". Gatt had heard about these dragons, but he had never seen one, this would be an intresting quest for him.
