I know some people mentioned it in other threads, but I thought I'd start like an official Sakuracon thread. I'd like to know who else is going and if you're staff or not.
I am going this year and it'll be my fourth year if I remember correctly. I want to be on staff but don't know if they have room for me yet. last year I worked in Programming CandC as a lackey - same job I had teh year before. Maybe I'll have that job again this year. I need to go to the we site and see what they're planning because I have no clue. My brother is going and he is encharge of the TV shedules. I need to email Chris. sweatdrop
so yeah.....is anyone else going?

the title of the poll was supposed to be one of the answers, until I can get it fixed, the server won't let me, pick never been but I want to if you went and liked sakuracon  I thought I'd post one of my cosplays from 2 years ago. this pic is on cosplay.com under Eurobeatkings galleries. The character's name is subaru-chin from .Hack//sign she beat Subaru up in episode 19, I also did freja from Chobits. I don't know who I'm gonna cosplay this year. I have an awesome outfit for Neil Gaiman's adaptation of Death from his sandman comic books, but that's it, I think I'm gonna rewear some old costumes just because they were hella good, like these two.

I went last year and I enjoyed it. Mostly because I was with my girlfriend (mhmm having fun in the Marriot w00t).
I didn't cosplay though. I'm going as a blacksmith from RO for the 05' one though.
So, see you guys there. Give me a shout-out if you see me. The name's Brad... same as on Gaia.

My only reason for thinking about going this year is that CCZ is trying to find a way to go even though he's in Pennsylvania, so we can meet.

I'm going this year to Sakura-Con. I've been to it twice, and really liked it. However last year, waiting for an event ( such as AMVs, Cosplay Contest, etc) it would take forever to get it. My friends and I were waiting to join in for the Rave, but by the time the doors opened.. we had to leave. It was late and our parents were angry. Not good.
On a lighter note, I just hope they update the pre-reg. page soon. 3nodding

ive been to sakura con the last 3 years last year my wife and i went for all three days i dont think we will do that again its alot of fun but we did most of everything in one day so if we go for '05 we will just go on sunday one thing i dident like last year was the security was pretty a**l i remember a time when you could go to the con and not get harrassed by the security i know they had more people last year then they ever had befor but still they dident need to be so uptight
