I like the storyline. It's one of those ideal animes I think. It has everything a good story needs. A hero, an enemy, a love interest, a love interest who isn't really a love interest but thinks he is, fighting, humor, drama, horror, sarcasm, the whole enchilada.
Oh, and not to mention the culture behind it, and the all around characters who a lot of us can relate to. The lecherous and determined monk Miroku, the innocent but feisty little demon fox, Shippou, the beautiful but wounded Sango, the intense but loving Inuyasha, the feircely loyal demon cat, Kirara, and the understanding loving girl who brought them all together... Kagome.
If you think about it... hmm...
