There was a young boy of about ten carrying a water can to the plants. He had just been stooping to water them when a large scaled form materialized and smacked into the wall. The stone cracked against the brick behind it, being there just for ornamentation. If Seyu had materialized a few feet to the right, he would have hit glass.

The young boy started shrieking as soon as he could get his throat working. His shrieking did not form any words, but boy did it get a few adults running their way...

And Seyu found himself surrounded by two grown men and the boy withing seconds. A woman came around a corner and stood there staring.

(Wow, cool! Have fun!)

Seyu could hear the commotion the other dragon was causing at the other side of the compound. The humans could not.

They stood back from him and called to the woman who was approaching. "What shall we do?" they were all asking.

The woman stood a few feet further back than the rest and squinted her eyes at Seyu. "...Capture it! Where are the tranq darts?"

The boy ran off after them.

(your character will be with Cedric & Katrina now, in the Panic = Katrina Kidnapped! thread, so go ahead and post there that you have arrived so that they can greet you. You will appear in a clearing in the woods and see only dragons at first)

The place, of course, was not recognizable to him. It was, however, recognizable to his human and Seyu would have some memories of that nature from the switch. He was in a secluded part of the compound, which is probably why he hadn't been surrounded yet; a gracious hill sloped upwards and peaked at the sky, obscuring the main part of the compound from view. What he could see where a private pool, the garden surrounding it, and related buildings. It looked as if the hill had been built up on purpose to help with privacy for the pool.

The other dragon that he had heard, however, had already been flying away, and was no longer in sight. If he stayed, he risked getting captured, and here came the boy with the tranqs...

Being young, Seyu would have a hard time keeping up with the older dragon, who either did not realize that he was there or was ignoring him for some reason. Older dragons were simply faster, more experienced at using their magic to supplement the limitations of their physical wings. To add to the difficulty, or maybe the excitement, mountains rose in between Seyu and his destination. It blocked his sight of where the other dragons were staying.

From as high up as he was, he had a pretty good view of what was happening not only in Eldic Estates but further to the south and north. To the north, many people of Feretris moved in a confusing mass during their daily activities. But small groups of soldiers were also traveling to the south border.

To the south, a small group gathered past the Feretris border was moving towards the shelter of the woods. There were all sorts of strange things going on every where... a whole new world for Seyu.

((Oops! Im sorry! The planning for the raid is happening to the south of the Feretris border in a place called the "Nomadic Plains". I added some info to the RP to help people make more characters. Sorry I didnt mention this to you, I've been running around like a headless chicken... also your character probably doesnt know about the place so it's not too important that you do either, so no worries biggrin ))

Holy hellfire, but that shadow made a person think the sky was falling. Kik had been through a hurricane before, and he'd heard of this thing called a tornadoe that could darken the skies just as fast. All the faster if it was magic-induced. And with the wind and the suddeness of it all, he was convinced that his short little run on earth was coming to an end.

And then it wasn't true after all, which was kinda a shame. All this damn tiptoeing over people's feelings and egos was getting to look like a younger person's job. Well he just couldn't keep up any more with all the new rules his mistressess liked to add. He was sixty years old, and statistically he should be dead. He didn't know about statistics, but he felt it in his heart when it skipped a beat beneath those terrible beating wings.

Aeryon, she looked at him wide-eyed because he'd cursed visciously, one of them older rules but easy to forget. No, it probably wasn't that at all but just the whole gleaming heap of scales plumped in front of them-- and wouldn't you know it but Kik and Aeryon were at the front of it all. Could a fish that big breath air? Wait, did fish have wings? Was this one of them gryphon things he'd heard about from Aeryon? If it ate him, it would hardly matter what to call it.

Kik fell to his knees, genuflecting. He thought of it first because he did it a mite more than the women, who only had to bow to gods. Aeryon followed suit and then the other warriors, though Kik noticed they all had their hands swift on their weapons.

Aeryon, because she was the tactical commander, attempted to force an assessment of the threat: "O strange beast, what have we to do with you?" Not a god then, Kik wondered, but maybe a godling. Maybe just a damned overgrown dragonfly big enough to snuff them all by rolling over.

"A demon!" Kik decided, but later he might feel embarrassed for saying it outloud. Other people disagreed. But in Kik's opinion, a good spirit would know who the hell to go to with their complaints, and that would probably be the capital of Feretris. Religiously, they bore all the sins and the obligation to punish any 'foul deeds' of the people. That meant that angry spirits went to them, if you believed that sort of thing.

Kik grabbed the arm of Aeryon beside him and turned to run just as the hole was opening up under them. He felt like his fear and stubborness could make him walk on air, so he yanked Aeryon away from the talking lizard and towards the bit of trail that they had just passed over.
