Lately I've been really into watching various Japanese dramas. I download them with English subs though. Anybody else like to watch them? So far I have watched:

Nobuta wo Produce (finished)
1 Litre of Tears (finished)
Gokusen 1/2
Attention Please
Kurosagi
NANA (its a movie based off of a manga)

I think the only J-drama that I've seen is Densha Otoko. It's about a shy otaku that saves a beautiful woman on a train from a drunk, and their developing relationship. It was a lot of fun, mostly because of the supporting cast.

Oh, wait, I also saw Maid in Akihabara, but that one was just awful. I hate hate hate the cheesy computer graphics that Japanese TV shows seem to be so fond of using. D: That reminds me that I've also seen some Sailor Moon Live Action, but that one's just so bad that it wins. Maid in Akihabara has no redeeming qualities.

I'd be tempted to check out other J-dramas, but I really don't know much about that genre at all. Hieiandkurama, I think hearing little episode summaries of the series you mentioned would be nice, as I am not familiar with any of the series that you mentioned besides the Nana movie.

I'd recommend anything in my first post. I download them mostly off of d-addicts.com. Yea, especially Nobuta wo Produce, Kurosagi and 1 Litre of Tears I would recommend.

I had heard a while back that Japanese Actors were horrible. so Ididnt have high hopes for this.. but it's really amazing...

there are quite a few people on Youtube.com who have episodes that you can atleast test.

I've been wanting to see 'Nana' for a while now... I just saw Ju-On last night, but that isn't really drama, it's horror. I'm more into the horror.

So far I have watched alot of Jdrama's but am still looking into seeing more. I would recommend Nobuta wo produce, kurosagi, 1 litre of tears (really sad but empowering). Really like attention please, ace wo nerae, sapuri (which I am still watching), and a bunch of other ones. One of the ones that is really odd and funny is you are my only madonna, or hana yori dango. So yeah most are good.

I haven't watched many I've seen Densha Otoko...which was highly annoying after the 4th or so episode, Trick, and Nana the movie not the drama.

I heart Nana!!!

I can't wait for the second movie to come out. Should be out on DVD by the time I go back next summer! Yay!

the only one I've watched is "Pink no Idenshi" which is on youtube.com I've seen episodes 1-6. The first 3 episodes were cute, the 4th was a little perverted, and 5 and 6 were like "wtf is going on?"

Right now I'm watching Sapuri and Hana Yori Dango. I love them both so much! Except Sapuri is getting a little dragged out.
