Happening upon this place again was quite interesting to Sora, or it would had he been paying attention to where exactly he was. Despite having the heart of a hero, Sora did not have the brain of a scholar. Which was quite ironic, because, the thing he was looking for was indeed a book.

"So many doors, there has to be a library here somewhere." He walked down hall after hall, opening doors with his fenrir blade as he passed them.

"Too many doors! My head is going to explode if I don't find a library!" As if he willed it to be, the next door he opened showed rows and rows of books everywhere. Not paying much attention to anything else but this room, he charged in. Though this wasn't the best of ideas. Rushing in somwhere, with such oddly shaped shoes wasn't quite smart, he tripped over the entry way and made a dazzling faceplant on the floor, crashing down with an "UMPH!", he lay in silence for a moment before laughing at himself.

User ImageFrom somewhere admist the rows of shelves, an exasperated sigh echoed off the books. "I've asked you before to keep your idiocy out of the library. I like it in here because it's quiet," came a rather cold-sounding female voice. Despite the sparse population of the building, it appeared as though Sora's hunt for the book had led him to another resident instead.

Sora picked himself up off the ground and tilted his head slightly confused. Was that voice talking to him? He looked around.

He whispered to himself, "Must be talking to me, I don't see anyone else here." There was a pause. "Uh...hello?! Someone here?" Well of course someone was here, he thought, but asking couldn't hurt. Sora stood waiting for a reply, or maybe someone to come out of hiding. It couldn't have been who he was looking for, that person lives in a book, not in a room with books.

User ImageLarxene frowned from the large chair she was curled up in. She didn't recognize the voice and she didn't like the idea of being snuck up on by a stranger. Even so, she didn't get out of her chair; she wasn't about to be at someone's beck and call.

"I'm not sure. Do books often respond when you call out to them?" she asked, her smirk almost audible in her tone. "If not, then I'd say it's safe to assume there's someone here." Even though she hadn't shown herself, it'd be easy enough to follow the voice now. It seemed to be coming from behind a few shelves further into the room.

Sora followed the voice cautiously.

"Well I know books don't talk! But there was this one cat, that talked without being there, he was kinda weird. I think his name was the ... uh ... Ches...Chess-hire? Nono! Cheshire Cat! That's it. And see he talked out of thin air and had this creepy smile and...and..." Sora continued on until he cought a glimps of what seemed to be a person curled up in a chair. He blinked and stood still for a moment before turning the corner where the person was sitting. He thought for a minute about if he should approach them or not...he decided, what the heck, not like anything could happen, right?

As he turned the corner, Sora asked, "Are you the person who's voice I heard before?" If obviousness was a weapon, this kid would have an army.

User ImageLarxene didn't move in her chair as the other approached, keeping her legs tucked up beneath her and a book open on her knees. She eyed him, tiling her head slowly at his question and smirking again. "No, I'm not," she said, her tone still chilly but tinged with amusment now. "She left. I'll tell her you were looking for her, though. Always pleased to be of assistance." The woman's eyes sparkled a bit. Obviously teasing the newcomer was proving entertaining for her. "Who are you?"

Sora seemed stumped. The voice was the same, but this girl claimed that the original voice had left. His head drooped. Had it really taken him that long to get here? Was he that slow? Well...slow witted maybe, but other than that, no. Of course, he would never realize this.

"Oh the voice left? But you sound like it. Are you related?" Sora's mind questioned everything now. How could someone leave without hearing their foot steps? Maybe his own footsteps hid the sound of another pair of feet walking around. This whole thing made him very confused.

His confusion stopped when the woman asked his name. "Oh! I'm Sora! And th-" he stopped himself, he was about to introduce two people who had seemingly left him long ago. "Uh...yeah, it's just Sora!"

User ImageLarxene's mouth gaped open slightly as she watched him try to figure out what was going on. Good grief. Teasing him was almost too easy. Almost. She shook her head slightly and played with one tendril of her hair. "Is there something you needed, just Sora?" she asked, ignoring his question and staring at him expectantly.

Sora blinked. Is there something he needed? ...Oh yes! That!

"Yeah! There is! Could you help me find a book you can go into? You see, a friend of mine lives in a book, and I am trying to find it."

Normally someone would think this sounded strange, but Sora was so used to it, it flowed out of his mouth as if everyone had a magical book they jumped into.

"Could you help me find it?" He smiled, it was a very innocent smile, from a very thickheaded boy.

User Image"A book ... you can go into?" Larxene repeated slowly. "I seeee." The little smirk grew on her face again and she shifted in her chair. "Why don't you sit down and tell me all about it?" She inclined her head slightly to gesture to the chair opposite her.

Odd. But then what around here isn't odd.

Sora quickly ran and jumped into the chair across from the woman. Smiling happily. "Well, you see I have a friend, and he lives in this book. Now when you open the book you can go into his world! It's really cool, and there's all these trees there! It's really pretty!" Every word sounded more exciting then the last. "But the problem is, I can't find the book. It's big, and ... uh ... big." That's all he remembered about it, which isn't much of a surprise.

"So...yeah." Sora sunk in his seat, ears drooping. But as he sulked, he remembered something. "I forgot to ask! What's your name?" At this, his smile returned almost instantly.

User ImageThe girl arched an eyebrow. "You may call me Larxene. Though 'mistress' will also suffice," she replied, smiling somewhat predatorially. "So you're saying you've actually been inside a book? A world, inside a book?" She was speaking slowly, as though she wasn't sure if this newcomer was insane, or just dense. "However did you manage to misplace such a wonderful thing?"

Sora tilted his head...mistress? There shouldn't be any harm in calling her that if that's what she wants to be called.

"Yup! I've been inside the book many times, mistress." Okay, so it felt weird calling her that, but that IS what she said to call her. Well, that or Larxene, and Sora would have such a hard time trying to pronounce that, he didn't want to make himself look too stupid.

Sora sighed sadly. "I didn't misplace it really, it wasn't my book, it was this other guys book, and then I found it, and went inside it on accident. But every other time after that wasn't an accident. I had to put the book back together! I think that happened...twice. I thought it was more but...it's hard to remember everything." Insane? Nah. Dense? You betcha.

User ImageLarxene blinked as Sora actually called her 'mistress'. She gradually smiled again. Oh. This is going to be fuuuun.

She tilted her head slowly as he described his adventures with the book. He was creative, if nothing else. She'd yet to decide about the 'stark raving mad' part, however. "Well, that sounds terribly industrious of you, putting it back together twice. Who was this 'other guy' who owned the book, hmm? Friend of yours?" The woman shifted in her chair, draping one leg lazily over the arm. Her expression was similar to that of a cat playing with a mouse.

The smile on Larxene, or mistress, was nerv wracking. It made Sora smile, but in a way that if he didn't he thought he'd be hurt in some way.

"Oh! He was a magician! The greatest in the universe! And he told me to go look for the pages of the book to put them back together. And I did, TWICE! It was kinda fun, like a very very big game of hide-and-seek." Sora seemed to bounce in his seat as he told the story.

"I've had a lot of advantures like that one!" Sora's eyes followed Larxene as she shifted around in her seat. At this point she knew a lot about him, but he knew next to nothing about her.

"So uh...why are you here in the library?"
