I was just wondering what type of bands or artists you guys like outside of showtunes. I mean, I love showtunes a lot, but I listen to other music as well. So...what do you listen to?

Yes. I also listen to any kind of a capella harmony music such as barbershop and country.

On my ipod, you will find... showtunes, Hoku, and Cirque du Soeil.
That's about it.

I enjoy most kinds of music except for soft jazz. My favorite band is The Beatles, and I suppose my favorite genre of music is rock. That's why my favorite musicals tend to have a rock slant (like Tommy and Jesus Christ Superstar).

Pharaoh Ramases Yes. I also listen to any kind of a capella harmony music such as barbershop and country. I recently saw Rockapella in concert. They were awesome.

Everything But Rap music that stuff just doesnt agree with me. Useually its whatever im obsessed with at hte moment currently its my little shop of horrors Cd which is only because i cant find my Rocky horror picture show Cd which is poopie, however last week it was Greenday

Besides Showtunes? I'm obsessed with JOSH GROBAN!! That's basically all you'll find in my CD player, showtunes and Josh Groban. (Although I alos have my high school chamber singers CD and love a capella.) I also love some rock (Greenday, the 99 red balloons people, Good Charlotte) and light rock (Billy Joel, Five for Fighting, ect) but I prefer those for radio listening.

my boss is obsessed with music too so i get to listen to allot of different things in the shop it really fun.

i usually listen to....evenesence...garbage...lacuna coil...maria mena....j-tech music (mainly from ddr)..emiliana torrini...showtunes...and bits and pieces from other bands and stuff

I'm big on all genres of Rock. I listen to Janis Joplin, Pink Floyd, The Who, Nine Inch Nails, Beatles, Cream...
Lately I've gotten into Jet and The Mars Volta.

Everything but Rap and Rap related things. There's something about talking fast being a talent that makes me shiver. That and when they are so lazy that they make up words for rhyming.
Otherwise I like Rock, more on the lightish side. No Doubt, Led Zeppelin, Silverchair, ect.

I like all of those except I haven't heard anything by The Mars Volta. Based on the other bands you like, I might have to check them out.

I'll happily listen to about anything, except country, rap, and most of the pop music manufactred after 1999. If you look in my cd case you'll find everything from Circque du Solil to Nine Inch Nails to Pink Floyd to DC Talk to Savage Garden. (my showtunes cds have their own special case wink ) Oh yeah, and a s**t load of Styx. I'd probably have to say that Styx is my overall favorite band. I've also got lots of Pink Floyd and Relient K. I've got tons of stuff. And mix cds. I'm told I make great mixes xd
