While looking through GDA today, I noticed a mention of Green Day being banned from a venue they're scheduled at. While I felt sorry for their fans out there, I clicked on the article to find out what backwards, midwestern, right-wing theocracy of a town this venue was in.
Apparently, that town is Carson, California, at the Home Depot Center. Not only is it in the home state of Green Day that is probably the weirdest and most liberal in the country, but more importaintly....
...it's the concert I'm going to!!! gonk gonk gonk
If you want to read the article for yourself, here it is. According to the article, things look positive. But I'll personally still be on pins and needles for the next two weeks.

but really, i think they shouldn't ban them from there. and it would be a terrible loss if you didn't get to go! i mean c'mon!!! they've never had a problem with their antics before. why now? why at this show? the one you're going to?!!!!
