I was just wondering on wut type of gas tank should i get, cause my spyder has a low pressure chamber but i dont know if that has to do w/ the type of tank that i should use. Do i get a HPA or LPA?(i have a spyder electra 2005)

Your going to need a HP tank. Most markers on the market will operate off of HP anyway so its a good buy.

spyders run at 650-800 psi
LP tanks only put out 400psi
HP is my vote

If i was you i would buy a APA tank (Adjustable Pressure Air tank). Why, well you can use it now on your high pressure Spyder now, and use it later on a low pressure marker if you get a new marker like an Ion or something else.

as far as money, buy a preset HPA.

And to settle any other disputes about "Is LPA more efficient than HPA?"
LPA = lower pressure = more volume
HPA = higher pressure = less volume

Btw, this is to go the same velocity, so simple physics shows that LPA requires a bit more per shot than HPA smile

With spyders, id say go to HPA, even tho some spyders r now goin to lower pressures, like i think the electra and such

yeah but the regs are big as crap and heavy aswell. an HP tank will work on just about any gun.

APA's are so outta date. All markers these days come stock with regulars so there is really no need for a APA tank. HP tanks pretty much work on any marker in the markert cept for the newer Angels and maybe one more. You could get one but I don't see the point in it.

i prefer LP. since most manuals on the newer higher end guns r based on settings from the pressure from the LP tank if ya kno wat im talkin about. but HP is alright but it will make more kick and it makes the reg work more to regulate the air pressure so maybe thats y the bolt would hit the ball kinda hard.

Your going to need HPA.

The low pressure chamber on our Spyders are there to lower the operating pressure. As Pimp mentioned Spyder's still need 600+PSI to operate correctly unless you plan on getting your gun to run Low Pressure you will need a HPA tank for your gun to work correctly.
