There is a giant window draped with velvet and curtains to match it, but there is not sufficient sunlight, and it would not matter...halfway down the dark hall is a double-door, to a massive room with high luxurious ceilings and candles being magically lit and replaced if burnt out. Along the walls there is a low standing King-sized bed, with crimson drapery, and deep gold linen sheets. the warm carpet is soft to the touch, and there is a big mirror opposite the bed. Handsome portraits of long past ancestors hang from the walls and busts sit contently on the wide dresser. There are two more doors to the left, one leading to a large walk-in closet, the other to a grand bathroom...  The grand master bathroom is a luxurious marble and crimson design, filled with an arousing lavender scent. To the far end, the tub is enshrouded in a dream-like atmosphere to ensure the most relaxing atmosphere. As you step up into the area for the tub, notice how private it feels, surrounded by the mahogany structure. Towels are close at hand, neatly stacked or rolled in the self next to the tub.

Arwen sat up in bed and looked about the room yawning, and rubbing her eyes. Kenti lay on the floor, seeing her awake he looked up and whimpered. "Morning Kenti....I wonder where Kenshin is."

Kenshin came through the bathroom door, still wearing his bath kimono. His long silvery white hair was wet from a recent shower.

Arwen turned and smiled blushing a bit as Kenshin walked in. She soon found her self gazing at him, wondering if she was still sleeping and just in a dream.

Kenshin stops and stares at her. "What?" He says, raising an eyebrow. "You didn't have your period in the bed again, did you?" Kenshin joked in a tone only Arwen knew was wasn't serious. "You act as if you've never seen a wet man before..." a small grin swept across his lips.

Kenshin returned to his room late in the morning, tired from the late night battle with Raistlin. Their training had gone well so far, and Raistlin was getting stronger as he expected. Kenshin sighed, walking into the empty bedroom. It had been empty for the past several years, without even the hint of a letter from far off countries. Kenshin ran his hands through his hair and walked over to the large bed, collapsing on it.

Arwen steped in the room and blinked her eyes adjusting to the dim light. She looked around but her eyes could not pick anything up. Her bag and naginata droped at her side. She rubbed her eyes and stummbled forward. "Kenshin?"

By the time she arrived, Kenshin was still soundly asleep. Since he'd moved back into the mansion, he'd become less of a light sleeper, and more comfortable. Under a dim, but almost heavenly light, Kenshin could be seen sleeping in the bed, sprawled across it's length on his stomach. At first glance and from a distance, he would look like a completely different person, the silver gleam no longer there, but his dreaming look and that face obviously screamed him. Kenshin stirred a bit in his deep sleep as she called his name, but he figured he was in a dream.

Looking across the room again she saw a human form sprawled across the bed. “Kenshin” She stood there watching him sleep; he looked so peaceful and flawless. Arwen stepped forward and sat on the edge of the bed. She leaned over her sleeping husband and brushed her hand across his face. "Love…” she shook him gently as she spoke.

Kenshin shuffled around a bit, finally waking slowly. It was morning now, but Kenshin couldn't tell with the drawn curtains. Daytime was when Kenshin was usually asleep, if tired, and it was his night-time. Kenshin made a groggy moan, squinting and opening his tired eyes. He'd felt a soft, warm touch on his face and a hand on his back, shaking him awake. Calli? he thought for a moment. What could anyone possibly want at this-- his eyes widened, but he stayed where he was, not flinching. Were his senses tricking him? It couldn't be Arwen. His deep relaxed breaths became aware and alert. "Ar-....Arwen?," he said, his soft voice piercing the dark quiet of the bedroom.

Arwen smiled and sat up, "Yes Kenshin, I'm here" Although there was a smile on her face, she was on the verge tears. "I...I'm sorry, I never wanted to be away from you for so long." She took a deep breath and bit her quivering lip.

Kenshin rolled over, finally facing Arwen. His expression was greater than ever before, a look of surprise and disbelief in his eyes. His breaths were short and sharp as he stared into the face of his wife. In truth, he thought she was gone forever. Kenshin raised an unsteady hand to he cheek, it still twitching as he held her face.

She saw the look on his face and frowned sadly, “Did you think I would never come back?” Arwen closed her eyes and sighed, putting her hand on his. "Please forgive me….I've missed you so much."

Before she could finish, he'd pulled her on top of him, kissing her softly on the lips. He held her hips that she couldn't escape his grasp.
