((Ai and Linny Tales only please))
Linneas had left a small note on the doorstep of Ai's house. He had wanted to see her, talk to her, confide with her. It had been ages since he last saw her and, well, he missed her. A great deal. The note was asking Ai to meet him at a cafe near the park. He would be seated at an outdoor table with those large umbrellas. And he'd be with his 'daughter' Arya.
So there they were at the table, a menu in Arya's hand, while Linneas twiddled with his thumbs nervously.

Aido jogged down the street, one hand in her pocket where Linny's note was (she'd already checked it twice to make sure she was heading to the right cafe) the other gently gripping her scarf's tassels. The winter clothing article looked rather out of place with the tank-top and shirt she'd thrown on to combat the summer heat.
The ensemble also lacked pockets, so her pocket watch was left to stay at home. Without shadow walking it took a great deal longer to make it from one place to another and she could only hope she wasn't too horribly late.
Turning the corner she sighted a familar mop of red hair only partially obscured by the umbrella and grinned, letting go of her scarf to wave, "Linny!"

Hearing his name, Linneas semi-jumped up and upset the chair he had been seated on. The chair clattered to the ground and Linneas' face went as red as his hair.
"O-over here, Ai!" he called out as he ducked down to pick up the chair.
Arya only giggled at how silly her itay was being and turned her attention from the menu to the young woman who called out his name. Arya learned that only grown ups could call each other by their first names with adding a miss or a mister to it.
"Who you?" She asked Ai.

Aido giggled at Linny, eyes warm as she regarded the other Tale and she slowed her pace to a gentle trot a few feet from the table, pausing beside it for a moment while Linny fixed his chair.
She smiled at the bluenette who was still sitting, "I'm Aido, what's your name?" was this the 'Arya' Linny's note had mentioned?
Glancing back at the aforementioned redhead she tackled him in a hug as soon as he'd fixed his chair.

"I Arya, and why itay wanna meet you today?" She asks of Aido. Her eyes widen in surprise as the halo'ed young woman gave Linneas a biiiiiig hug. Was that why? She giggles and gets off her chair to join their hugging, if only because it looked fun. Arya didn't mind hugging others, but not the other way around.
Linneas oomf-ed as he Aido caught him into a tackle-hug. Before he could return the gesture he saw -and felt- Arya join in.
"Oh no, wait I-" too late, he was rendered off balance and fell down. Both girls seemed to have landed on him.

Aido looked over, about to reply to the bluenette but then the younger girl had decided to join in and abruptly poor Linnaes was once again turned into a landing pad.
Whops.
Aido 'offed' when they all fell down. Flushing slightly the Tale took a breif moment to squeeze Linny in an end to the hug then sat up slightly and managed to shift so that she was no longer crushing her best friend but rather sitting beside him, "sorry Linny," she looked back over to Arya, "it's very nice to meet you, Arya." Itay, hrm? She tilted an eyebrow at Linny curiously at the term, guessing that it was the equivilent of father and hoping her friend wouldn't mind explaining at some point. But... that could wait.
Smiling warmly she shrugged slightly as her gaze shifted back to the youngest of their group.
"Your itay and I are good friends and we haven't seen eachother in a while. We missed eachother," she explanained to the Passenger.

The expression on Linneas' face was a very distraught "I can explain everything!!" sort. He felt awkward and guilty for not having told her as soon as he could, but stuff had happened and it was only recently that he had the opportunity to talk to her.
"Why you no see them first?" Arya asked bluntly, if she missed her itay that much she wouldn't wait for him to come see her. She remained where she was, namely on top of her father.
"Arya! Don't talk to Ai like that." He frowned, "Sorry about that, Ai. And Arya, could you get off me?"
"No. Don't wanna."

Aido flushed darkly and looked at her hands, shaking her head at Linny, "no, she's right. I didn't seek Linny out earlier because..." why hadn't she? There'd been plenty of times that she'd thought about it, and wanted to go and find him in the midst of family trouble or simply because she'd thought of him... but she hadn't. Maybe it was just fear of being too clingy and scaring him off... perhaps it was something else....
"I honestly don't know why," she replied with a misraeble shrug.

That didn't sound good to the older Tale, didn't Ai want to see him? Maybe something happened at home that kept her from seeing him sooner, the way his own family had? He gave her a warm smile and placed his hand on hers, squeezing it lightly.
"No worries, Ai. And Arya, please get off me, people are starting to stare." He begged.
The Passenger pouted before getting up with a huff, "Fine, me want a ice cream sundae! With lots of sprinkles and nuts." That was the price her itay had to pay.
Linneas got to his feet and offered Ai his hand.

Aido smiled a bit in return, mentally shaking off her meloncoly. She could be angry at herself on her own time, time with friends, espically Linny, was too precious to waste like that.
She smiled in relief as the Passenger made her demands, glad the girl had found something else to focus on. Being guilt tripped by someone younger than her was a little odd.
"Thanks," she said, looking up Linny and nodding. The thank you was for both the pardon and help up, and she took the offered hand, giving it a fond squeeze.

Helping Aido to her feet, Linneas pulled out a chair for her to sit in. Now would be the perfect time to ask Ai all those questions he had thought to ask! But for some reason, his mind was drawing a blank. A complete and utter blank.
Ask her something! Ask her anything! Think, Linneas, THINK! You had tons of questions when you invited her out, why can't you remember any of them!?
His mind was racing as he tried to concentrate. But all he could focus on was the fact that he was here, with Ai. For reasons he had yet to comprehend, that had been answer enough.
Arya, of course, was oblivious to her itay's state and began to whine that they order.

Aido nodded her thanks and sat in the chair. When Linneas didn't seat himself she looked up curiously, noted her friend's blank look, and, after a pensive moment, gently grabbed his dangling hand with a tiny smile, partially to guide him back to reality but mostly because she was finding she rather liked the feeling of his hand in her's.
When Arya began to whine she looked over her shoulder and managed to catch the eye of one of the waiters who was meandering around. Seeming to notice the younger girl and implications of her talking to an apparently unresponsive father figure he began to head their way.
Satisfied Aido looked back to Linny and gently tugged at his hand."Linny? You alright?"

The whining of Arya helped bring Linneas back to his senses, but his grip on reality was finalized by the sound of Ai's voice. Sheepishly, he realized he was still standing and finally sat down between his daughter and his best friend. He still hadn't relinquished his hand from Ai's and quite frankly, it looked like he had no intention to.
Arya gave Aido a big smile, at least someone was smart enough to call the waiter. She would have done so herself, but they tended to ignore her since she was still young. A big load of nonsense in her opinion, she could do anything adults can and even some of things they can't!
"H-huh? Uh, yeah I'm fine." He smiled, chuckling in embarrassment. "How's your arm?" The moment the words left his mouth, Linneas instantly wished he had asked something else.

Aido smiled back at Arya and gestured to the waiter to take the Passenger's order, simply asking for a glass of water for herself before she looked back to Linneas and blinked, eyes flitting to the appendage in question.
"It's all better, see?" she replied with a tiny smile, holding it up as proof. All that was left of the once broken bone and numerous wounds were slender scars, though her arm was now sporting a new band-aid and a white bandage around her wrist. But, considering the Tale's record with managing to get into fights and falling over because of her own clumsiness, it was in decent condition for once.
Letting it drop she tilted her head, resting it in the palm of her free hand, "how have you been?" the topic of her arm made her mind flit back to that... other Linny, and the pain her best friend had gone through in order to heal her... way back when.
Frowning a tiny bit she squeezed Linny's hand again, lacing their fingers for a better grip.

Still wincing at the sheer lame-ness of his question, Linneas was grateful for Ai's understanding. He still wished he could have done something to prevent her from getting hurt in the first place.
"That's good," He smiled in relief.
What did you expect? That she wouldn't heal after all these months? Lynn sneered, he didn't like Aido. Or rather how the younger Tale made Linneas think so stupidly and act like some sort of embarrassment. If he could only take control of the body himself. Alas, he needed permission nowadays.
"I've been busy, really busy." He motions to Arya, "After she arrived Paestri grew older. You remember my little sister, right? And then before I found Arya, I received ownership of this whiney little Feien. I can't understand what he's trying to say half the time," he groaned, unconsciously adjusting his hands to fit Aido's. It felt natural, his hand holding Ai's, telling her of the recent events in his life. "How have you been?"
Arya proceeded to tell the waiter her order with wild gestures and enthusiastic motions on what it was she wanted exactly. She also told the waiter that her itay wasn't going to order, he was just going to pay for the food.
