There was no telling where this maned wolf would be next. One day she would be in the forest, then the next day she would be out in the desert somewhere completely happy with the intense heat even though her pelt was black. As usual the female stared out straight ahead of her with the glazed over look in her eyes.
Her tail moved side to side with her every step as she traced the borderlines of the Mteo pride. She had no idea that she was on the border of the pride and if she did she didn't seem to care or to have much worry about it. The winds had led her here and she continued to follow them

Food always seems to put cubs to sleep. Or so it had seemed to be so for the pair that Mpenzi cared after. So often, after the pair had been fed, they fell asleep like the little pair of angels they were. However, afterwards, that left the Kaimu with time. And with time, came wanders out to the borders of the Mteo. That was where she met with strangers, to chat, and sometimes, she'd hope to find what was happening in the lands farther out away from there.
Being unable to leave the Mteo, both by tradition, and by her ties to her mate and cubs.
While she'd met many an odd stranger out in the borders of the Mteo, the one she spotted out there today was... far more..
".. Maned Wolf.." she mused to herself, having not seen many of the kind out in the lands for a long time.
Sitting herself down a distance from it, Mpenzi simply stared at it, watching it's actions. Amazing how that seemed to be sometimes.

Siria could hear the lioness, yet she didn't bother to turn in the others direction. She continued to walk and to stare at the nothing before her. It was a while before she even bothered to show that she had noticed the other. When she did she spoke in a slightly strange way. "One must sit and watch to know the other..."
She wasn't sure if it made any sense to the other near her but to the black and green maned wolf it made perfect sense. It meant that in order to know someone before you completely know them, you must watch them first.
"What is a lioness like you doing at the borders?" She meant nothing by 'like you' for she hadn't even glanced at the lioness. Still she had stopped walking.

This one.. had a sort of strange feeling to her. It was odd, but, none the less, it was a little difference that Mpenzi could find a little bit.. well..
it was a nice change from the normality of this place, and it's visitors. Except Kiva. Nothing was a nice change from Kiva's visit.
"That is so." she agreed with the odd statement, almost amused by it. Of the beings she had met at the borders as of recent, it .. had been a while since she was actually amused by the actions of one, that was for sure.
".. I am the Kaimu of this land, and I come out here often to see what I may see from the border of a land I may not leave." she replied calmly, her tail thumping against the ground a bit.
.. She.. was interesting.

Although the black and green maned wolf had stopped walking she still continued to stare out infront of her when she did something unlike her. She turned her head and looked over at the lioness, which was one thing she rarely did, at least after exchanging only a few words.
Siria'Chunuka had met a lot of others on her journeys, but this was the first time she had done something like that. "The Kaimu? Then it must be a great honor for you, as well as for me, for it is rare to meet one such as yourself." Her words where not as confusing now but there was no telling what she would say next.
"What is one like you called?" The female liked to use the term 'one like you' although it still had no meaning, she wanted to know the others name and that was all. "Do you wish to follow the call of your heart or the call of the wind?"

Her expression was confused at the words of this one. It seemed as though my made sense, but none the less..she couldn't put a paw on the translation of the confusing speech of this one..
therefore, she'd be confusing right back!
"The stars will not tell of their secrets until they are given on in turn. Binds made by the heart will forever wigh heavier then any call that may attempt to flitter one away into the distance, then abandon them to nothing."
If thought over, it was a simple enough statement, and an answer to her second inquiry to the Kaimu as well.
"And what honors one, and what honors one's people are two different statements, which can be mistaken in identity for each other if one presumes too lightly."

Siria's expression was the same as before, expressionless, only now her eyes had lost that glazed over look and seemed to dance. It did take this female a few minutes to figure out what she was saying or atleast most of it.
"The bonds of your heart bind you here do they not? And as for the stars, I mearly ask never expecting an answer. Never knowing if what one says is the spoken truth among many." Trying to sort that she might have lost her gift of using confusing language when many would just say straight out how they felt, or what they wanted to say.
"You speak the truth, but do tell is being the Kaimu a great honor to you? Do you feel that your actions honor your peoples wishes?" This was possibly the most fun Siria had in a long time.

Indeed interesting was the right word of choice here. It was most definately the only one she could think of at that moment, for sure. For a moment, she pondered over the words of this unique stranger, before settling with another reply.
"The heart of any mother binds herself to her children, whether they be in this land or otherwise. What is spoken among truth to the many may be a lie, when the singularity's belief may be what rings true in the end, though those whom hear it may persecute them for that."
The Kaimu licked her lips over once to rid them of that odd dryness that the lips have a tendancy to do if left alone for long enough.
"The honor that is brought to me as Kaimu is simply that of a mother and a lover. How one whom is absorbed in their accomplishments is honorable to her people, I am unsure how that is."

Siria'Chunuka took a seat down letting her eyes look over the lioness infront of her. Looks could not do one justice if one had a colorful mind and the cryptic maned wolf thought the one infront of her to have the most colorful mind she had seen in some time. Since this was the most fun the female had had in some time it was no surpise to herself that she thought the one infront of her was a colorful mind indeed.
"Though some mothers discard that binding and toss their children away like used rags......" A pause followed her words as she chose her words carefully. "Though some may do that others do not for they know the true bonds that tie any relationship of any kind together."
"One is honorable to their people when they are true to themselves, even if at times it seems to be the wrong thing no matter how you look at it until you eventually look back."
"Tell me, what are you called?" The wolf had not learned the others name and when one met someone that they found interesting it was good to get a name from the said person.

Mpenzi sat calmly still, watching the wolf idly, before laughing a bit, tail thumping against the ground idly. This game of words was actually quite amusing in that it was not something she did often, though the desire was always there, wanting to blossom.
"A rag that blows in the wind and grows to be more then it would have been if peiced on a line and held down to a fate that had no way to change though the winds may have blown at it." she replied.
"For some, that is the better."
Though for Mpenzi to speak such words was foolish, as she herself knew that her children would be bound to such a line, unable to leave these lands however they may have desired it.
"Can you say one whom is akin to dark tendancies and is true to themselves will bring honor to anybody?" she inquired, a slight smile playing across her lips, before laying on her side.
When her name was inquired, again she replied; "The stars ask not of others before whispering their own secrets."

Siria hadn't taken her eyes off the lioness. Even though this was her first encounter with a lion of any kind she had taken some what of a liking to the other. Disappointed as she was to the answer of her final question.
"But, some are forced to be held onto that line and grow more than the free blowing rag would ever grow because of the influences within the place they are bound to." That was her reply to that.
Siria then added "For some it is only one of many options."
The maned wolf was herself a blowing rag since she had never felt bound to anyone or anyplace. She had never felt the need to stay in one place more than one time, she enjoyed following the path of the wind and the path that her paws led her through.
"One whom is akin to dark tendancies and is true to themselves bring honor to none but the cruel hearted and even then there is not true honor, but honor that is false." After she had spoken she thought of her words and thought they made enough sense.
"Siria'Chunuka" Was her only reply to the last words spoken by the other.

Mpenzi nodded. "Perhaps so.. perhaps not." she shrugged. It was true that she herself had grown more then any rogue would have, outside of the free-blowing winds that rags would have flown freely through unbound to anywhere.
And she didn't regret a moment of such a life, but only wished that her children would have the decision to fly unbound through life.
"A false honor, is not honor, therefore bringing the idea that honor is true to oneself is indeed a dream of idea." she replied, rather amused by how the logic of the maned wolf contradicted itself.
With a slight laugh, Mpenzi settled on the one word as an answer to her inquiry, brushing down her fur for a moment, then repeating her own name in answer; "Mpenzi."
Beloved.
It was an oddly ironic name, though it was true. She was indeed beloved to her people... or so it had seemed to her.

A twitch at the side of her mouth almost seem as if the wolf was about to smile, however it was fading fast almost unnoticible if you did not pay attention. "Only the person who goes through that truely knows"
"That is the truth, and one I am glad you have seen." Pausing she went back into her spaced off look for a moment before snapping back and watching the other again. "Only the person themself can know if they bring honor or not."
Siria'Chunuka stayed silent almost lost in thought as she pondered the name. "Mpenzi is it? Interesting."

And one that Mpenzi didn't even seem to notice, nor give any sign that she did indeed notice such a thing. With a bit of a laugh, she nodded.
"I'm glad my knowing such pleases you, little one." she purred, amusedly with an odd level of mirth in her tone. Nodding a couple of times, she then put her head down upon her paws.
"Honor is only a word. To me, I would wish more to bring happiness then honor.."
As her name was considered by the stranger, the Kaimu nodded.
"Yes... that is my name... short and beautiful."

The black and green maned wolf tilted her head slightly, a bare tilt. Then she untilted her head, with her eyes dancing. "All knowlegde is pleasing to the correct person."
It appeared to the female that the converstation was dying and she didn't want that to happen. "Do tell me, a bit about yourself, if you will that is for it is only a question you can answer for one persons story differs from another."
"Only a word. Happiness is esential for life, without it everyone would be grief stricken or resorting to violence."
A strange one that she was but when one must learn on there own there is little that they can truely call normal.
"The shortest things are the ones many miss."
