Welcome To:Naruto: Academy DaysThe RP:~Everything was so much more innocent back then.~
Here we are at the Konoha Ninja Acadamy, where you can find all of your favorite Naruto ninja...well, they aren't ninja just yet!
Our story takes place in the early fall, when the new school year begins! Our favorite characters are at the mere age of seven (Team Gai's future students are eight.). It's their third year learning how to become ninja, and of course, our seven-year-old's are determined to learn how to be the best shinobi/kunoichi there is!Our Story Starts Off:Ninja school starts today! Fall is starting, but it's still warm outside. Class starts at 8:30 a.m.! It's 7:45 a.m., and Morning Recess begins in the Academy courtyard! Time to meet your friends and classmates, whom you've been in the same class with for two whole school years now! The birds are chirping and the tree leaves are still green, so enjoy life as a kid!
NOTE:
Because the Academy days are only seen through flashbacks of the series, here's a few guidelines to help to RP go smoother. These are all just assumptions that I made, but we'll have to work with them.
- The Uchiha Clan Massacre hasn't happened yet. I'm assuming that from the start of this RP, the massacre would happen about a year from then.
- Ino and Sakura HAVE met and befriended. So has Chouji and Shikamaru.
- Students start the Academy at age FIVE, so the RP takes place in the students third year at the Academy. (Fourth year for Team Gai's students)
- Every character generally knows the other. In the RP, EVERYONE is in the same class, and have been in the same class since the beginning, so even though two characters might not be freinds, they still know each other.
((If there is anything else that needs to be cleared up, you can PM me, and I'll figure something out. <3))Rules:1.) Follow the Roleplaying Subforum Rules! That covers the PG-13 ratings and everything.
2.) Be as literate as you possibly can. ._.
3.) Remember to play your character right! Unless your character is an instructor, you're either seven or eight years old! (Tenten, Lee, and Neji are eight.) Act like your age!
4.) PM Remedi to be a character. There's a small and easy application later in the post.
5.) BE ACTIVE. O.O I MEAN IT.
6.) Until a character is taken, you are allowed to play as any untaken character, if that character is needed in a scene.
7.) Child romance is cute. <3 But remember, it's CHILDREN. >>
8.) To keep the RP together, the classes are mixed. A.K.A. Neji, TenTen, and Lee are in the same class as the others.

((First post. Whoo! Get ready for little happy goofy Sasuke. xD))
Sasuke scrambled through the gates to the Academy, a silly grin on his face. Why the grin, you ask?
His mom packed his all-time favorite food in his lunch today. Tomatoes.
He rushed into the classroom, picked up his bag and lunch box, and headed to the Academy's playground. Morning recess was Sasuke's faovrite time of the school day.
He cheerily scanned the yard for anybody that he could talk to.

Having already been at school for at least half an hour, the little pink-haired girl was currently standing in one section of the playground with a group of girls who were chattering away about something. She had seemed to lose interest in their conversation quite some time before.
Turning away slightly so she could observe the rest of the playground, her gaze soon fell upon a certain dark-haired boy. A clearly visible blush spread across her cheeks and she glanced away. He was alone.. maybe she could talk to him.. ? But she was so shy..
Sakura took a few steps backward, away from the other girls, and turned toward the direction the Uchiha was in. Slowly and steadily, she began to approach him, but her eyes were glued to her feet. So many times before she had tried to speak to the boy, this was going to be it for sure!
Hesitantly, she started to lift her head as she continued walking onward. "Remember what Ino-chan said.. I gotta have confidence!" But before she was even aware of it, she was falling toward the ground. She had tripped.. again. Probably over a rock, or her own two feet, no doubt.

The young Uchiha jumped when he heard a thump. He turned his head to see the girl, lying on the ground. He stood there for a moment.
"That's...Sakura, is it?" he thought to himself. "I wonder what happened. I don't know her well, but she's a really clumsy girl...Oh wait!" Sasuke smacked himself on the forehead with his hand. He's sitting here thinking, and Sakura might be hurt!
He quickly made his way to the girls side, and sat on his knees.
"Hey....hey! Um...Are you okay?" he said, tilted his head to the side.

She kept her face in the dirt for a while, laying motionless while waiting for him to start laughing, or making fun of her.
Needless to say she was quite surprised when he asked if she was all right.
To confirm that it was really Uchiha Sasuke speaking to her, the girl slowly lifted her head, and turned it so that she could look at him. Heat began rushing to her face, and she sincerely hoped there was enough dirt there to hide it.
"U-Um.. I-I'm fine, S-Sasuke-kun.." she mumbled lowly, bowing her head as she moved to sit up. "He must think I'm such a klutz.."

Sasuke frowned. She seemed so...down about something.
Sasuke knew that he didn't really know Sakura that well. But heck, he had to admit to himself that really, he had no real friends. He had always SAID he had them, but it wasn't really true. He knew this when he had attempted to get Itachi to teach him how to throw shuriken better. and the older brother merely stated, "Not today Sasuke, go play with your friends at the park."
He didn't have friends to play with at the park.
Anyways, Sakura seemed...nice. Sure, he had seen her alone a lot, and when she wasn't, she was with that bossy little girl Ino, but she wasn't that bad, was she? He decided to cheer the pink haired girl up. He would make someone happy (and he loved that) and he could possibly make a friend.
It was like killing two birds with one stone!
The raven-haired boy smiled, and rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, "If it makes you feel any better, one time I was walking on a dock, and my sandal caught a loose board. I tripped and fell into the pond!" Telling his own embarassing story made a faint blush appear on his face, but he continued with a smile, "I got home and my family scolded me for getting wet."

She stared up at him, listening intently as he told his little story while she wiped away the dirt on her face. She certainly didn't want to miss a word that Sasuke was telling her. And she didn't have to look around to know that his other 'fan-girls' were looking on with jealousy.
When he finished, she couldn't help but giggle as a smile spread across her face. She pictured Sasuke doing what he had said, which only made her giggle even more. "That's funny.." she admitted between one or two more giggles.
Never before had she imagined someone like Sasuke tripping, of all things. She always pictured him to be so.. perfect. He was, after all, an Uchiha. Although she didn't really understand why his clan was so important, her parents sure talked about how great they were a lot.
It wasn't long before an embarrassed expression came across her face. "Um, do you.." she started, shifting her gaze toward the ground. "..want to be my.. friend?" She had actually considered adding 'boy' to 'friend', but that would have been too bold of a move. Plus, the other girls would kill her. She just knew it. She could already feel their burning glares.

Sasuke's eyes lit up. His plan worked out better than he'd thought!
"REALLY?!" he shouted in excitement. Then realizing how stupid he probably just looked, he froze.
"Oh no! They'll think I'm crazy! Just act cool! Act cool..."
"Um...I mean," he looked around quickly. These people thought he was cool. He was an Uchiha. The boy had a reputation to uphold!
"I mean....yeah."
He couldn't help but smile ear to ear at the last word. Inside, the boy was beaming with pride. He made his first real friend!

Her head had shot up at hearing his outburst, but her features settled when he returned to acting.. normal. Had her question really excited him that much?
She smiled sweetly at his answer. She had another friend! Ino was sure to congratulate her. After all, without the blond, Sakura would have never had the courage to speak to Sasuke in the first place.
"Great!" she exclaimed.. then became silent. Just what were they supposed to do now?
A light-bulb went off in her head as she got a fun idea.
"Hey, you wanna play tag?"

Naruto yawned as he entered the courtyard. He looked around. It looked like everyone in his class was in the courtyard. He guessed he was the last one to arrive for morning recess.. again. It was the same routine everytime. Wake up, eat and cherish ramen for around 20 minutes and then leave for school. The walk to school was very long. He would always distrub the villagers of Konoha and mess around. His fun would end everytime a Jounin attempted to chase after him and yell at him. Naruto didn't care. He ran away and laughed at the Jounin.
But everytime he entered the school courtyard, his cheerful self would drain away. He felt hollow inside and it hurt him so bad. None of the kids at school talked to him. Heck, probably half the class hated him and yet, Naruto did not know why. The only time Naruto felt wanted was when he fooled around and made everyone laugh. Naruto sighed. He stood near the school enterance looking for something to do.
Naruto's ears perked up when he heard someone shout the word 'really'. He looked at the owner of the voice - Uchiha Sasuke. He frowned. Almost all the girls in the class liked him. And what made Naruto's day even worse was the person next to Sasuke. Haruno Sakura. Naruto was jealous. Seeing the guy that annoyed him and the girl he had a crush on together made Naruto unhappy. He stuck his nose in the air and made a 'Hmp' sound.

Sasuke analysed. Tag: a game in which the person who was "it" chased the other person or persons. Once a person was caught by "it", they because "it", and had to catch others. Yeah. Tag: A fun game.
A sly smirk spread across his face. He extended his hand, and lightly tapped her on the shoulder.
"Tag! You're it!"
And with an innocent laughter, he stood up and ran across the yard, oblivious to everything else but him, Sakura, and the game of Tag.

Sakura remained where she sat, seemingly glued there as her brain attempted to process the fact that Sasuke had touched her. So it was a light tap on her shoulder, so what? His hand had come in contact with her! Words could not describe the dazed state that his act had caused her to fall into.
Then she remembered that she was it. Gasping, she quickly rose to her feet and looked in the direction he had run off in. The second she spotted him, she took off running toward him. And loud enough for anyone nearby to hear, she shouted, "I'll get you, Sasuke-kun!"

Hinata, who had already arrived at the academy some time ago, tensed up as she spotted Naruto who had just entered the courtyard. She fidgeted with her fingers nervously. Could today be the day she could finally get enough courage to talk to Naruto? She looked in the direction that Naruto seemed to be looking at. There stood Uchiha Sasuke and Haruno Sakura. She never understood why all the girls had a crush on Sasuke and was he playing tag..?
"Baka Hinata, this isn't the time to think about that" Hinata tore her gaze away from Sasuke and Sakura and back to Naruto who looked rather angry. Should she go up to him? "W-What should I do!?"

Sasuke looked behind him and smiled when Sakura was indeed chasing him. He playfully stuck out his tongue and called back, "No you won't!"
When he turned around, his eyes widened. "Woah!"
He came to a halt, almost falling over and falling into the person he almost ran into. Naruto.
"Eh? Sorry, Naruto. But you're just standing there like that and..."
He turned his head, and he noted that stopping like he did wasn't smart. Sakura had gained on him. And was still gaining. Fast.
"Gotta go!" he said quickly, and continued to run past the blonde, hoping that he'd have time to escape Sakura's close chase.

Naruto's eye twitched. Sasuke almost ran into him.
"Eh? Sorry, Naruto. But you're just standing there like that and.."
And what? Naruto grunted. How rude of him not to finish his sentence and just run off! And also, he was just standing (and in his mind, Naruto added 'innocently') and Sasuke wasn't paying attention to where he was going (Naruto's excuse for making Sasuke look like the bad and clumsy guy) and almost ran into him. Ignoring the fact Sasuke said 'sorry' and having jealousy play around in his mind, Naruto shouted "JERK!" at Sasuke.
He felt the urge to trip Sasuke but he didn't.
