It had only been a day and a night since her cubs had been born and those around her were careing for her well. Her food was broaght to ehr so she didn't have to leave ehr cubs and when she slept she was protected by either one of the femaloes or one of the males. Her three tiny cubs dozed beside her which was pretty much all they did, sleep eat and tumble over each other in a cute manner. Laughing quietly she watched them 'wrestle' each other to get back their place and feed.
Sighing softly the once again slender female groomed her babies ears her dusty blue gaze gentle and happy. She knew she was blessed and she could not think of a more wonderful thing to posess than her three boys.

Mweko peered curiously out through the undergrowth. There had been a lot of rumors about the new arrivals; those of a cheetah that she did not know. However, it seemed nearly every cheetah in the land was paying tribute to this 'Colche', and however skiddish she was, she wanted to congratulate this kind stranger, and look upon the ways of her three young cubs.
It was turning into night, she noticed, as stars began to speckle across the sky's mighty pelt. The air was thick with summer humidity, even though a cool breeze rippled through the air and brushed lightly against the female's fur.
She approached the den with caution, peeking inside with silence. She knew that this Colche must be exhausted. Soon she herself would be a mother to young cubs. "H-h-hi there", she said softly, hoping that her prescence wouldn't startle the new mother.

Colche shifted slightly in her den. Listening to the approach of another, her gaze lifted to wait. She knew it was a cheetah and therefore was most likely one of her friends coming to check upon her. Upon the arrival of the unknown face though the gentle blue eyed femme curled acround ehr cubs just a little protectively "Greetings" She whispered her voice a quiet muurr. She was indeed still tired though she was quickly regaining strength through the help of those around her.
Smiling at the nervous looking female her dark ears perked forwards as she spoke "you don't need to be afraid" she coos her dusty blue eyes smiling "I don't bite" she laughs quietly a sweet airy sort of sound which vibrated from ehr chest with a puurr.

Mweko smiled sweetly at Colche's comment, although she still felt nervous. It was her nature. She stepped into the den carefully; so lightly that each paw did not completely touch the ground, even with the weight of her own bundle of cubs still inside her.
"Greetings to you, Colche", she said in a small voice. "And congratulations", she said, her blue eyes brightening as she laid them upon the three males beside the femme cheetah.
She stepped forward slightly. She didn't want to get too close, knowing that Colche must be a protective mother. "I am dubbed Mweko", she introduced herself, blinking in awe at the cubs.

The king spotted femme watched the other female with a gentle smile. turning her nose to nudge gently at the three little bungled, she checked them ocasionally like this to make sure they were okay but they were three strong little boys, that was at leats a blessing.
"It is a pleasure to meet you mweko, do take your ease you shouldn't be standing" She whispers her dusty blue eyes smiling lightly up at the femme cheetah. It was strange, after being pregnant herself she almost knew when another was expecting or had children already. Perhaps it was a mother thing, the thought of children perhaps linked their hearts together? She was unsure though glad that another female was atround whom would soon be bearing cubs in to the coalition. More children for ehr three to play with, when they could of course. At the moment her babies reminded her of fluffy sausages who ate alot. It amused her, they were so small and beautiful and it still amazed her that they had come from her.
"I se you already know my name." She uncurled slightly so Mweko could get a good view of her three boys. Another mother would not harm her cubs.

Mweko grinned, sitting down beside Colche. "Yes, I suppose I should", she said, her voice tiring from the walk to the den. She felt a bit safer about this female now. She seemed to trust her, and so Mweko would do the same.
"Yes, your cubs are quite famous", Mweko giggled, flicking her tail to add emphasis. "Every creature miles down to the graveyard knows the name of Colche", she grinned. She smiled, looking closely at the cubs. "They are ... beautiful. My, they only increase my own excitement", she giggled, perking her ears playfully. "I've got two at home, with my mate, Bichi. I didn't give birth to them, though", Mweko said nervously, looking behind her shoulder as if one of her cubs had heard. "They were abandoned, my sweet Uhayawani and Dhalilivitu. Bichi and I took em' in. These are as much my cubs as they are, even though these have their mother and father's genes. And these, I fear, I must give birth to. And honestly, I'm scared", Mweko said sadly. She had doubts that her small frame and general weakness would be able to stand the birth of cubs. "I have come seeking a fellow mother's advice...", she said nervously, hoping she wasn't being a burden to Colche.

Colche smiled softly shiftign her head slightly she touched mweko's paw with her nose carefully "It is a great thing to take in children not of your own blood" She whispers, she had never taken in any cubs though she knew many youngsters whom belonged to others. She ofcourse had three little bundles of her own now though and she had no doubt they would be trouble three boys.
Licking her furry lips Colche paused, the other female was looking for advice. She smiled the thought that her trins were famous through the coalition lands delighted her, she wanted them to be known she waned everyone to adore them as much as she did.
"I'm a small cheetah myself" colche whispered quite suddenly guessing what the female was thinking. "make sure you eat plenty and get lots of rest and find a den where you can be alone if you wish it though let your mate know where you are." She smiles getly looking up at the dainty female before her. "I won't lie to you, it hurts, but the rewards far out weigh the pain." She smiled and pointed her nose to her three little bundles. They truely gave her a delightful feeling, she glowed with pride knowing they were already known in the lands and they would be watched over by so many. It was nice to know she could ask and would know where her trins were at.

Mweko smiled and nodded, though had her own doubts. How can I care for four cubs?, she thought, adding to herself, ... with a blind eye. She could always find the grey past all silver linings. She even had doubts about how she could parent such small, helpless creatures. She had been so brutally maimed and abused as a cub. Perhaps they would drive her to insanity, and she would go balistic with them as her mother had to her? Mweko's fur prickled up her spine, and her tail lashed with stress and remembrance.
"How do I know if I'm doing it right?", Mweko asked downheartedly. She knew she had more motherly experience than Colche, as she did have two cubs already. But Colche didn't know what lacked in Mweko's life, when she was a cub. She didn't have a mother to influence her, or to try to be like as a mother of her bundle. She didn't know what exactly to do. She hoped Colche would understand, although she had just met her.

Taking a deep breath the light blue eyed cheetah looked to Mweko "You will know. I still don't know if I'm doing right but at least you have a mate to help you, and I'm sure their older siblings will help to care for them too." Colche smiled softly, her own short time mate had vanished in to the mist leaving her alone and pregnant, yet she had come home to such a wonderful welcome from all her friends and she wa being protected, cared for and her cubs would be granted male influence from all the males int he coalitionlands. She desired most of all to have a single father figure for her cubsbut settling for many father figueres was fine too as long as her babes didn't pick up any bad habbits.
"I was frightened when I learned I was pregnant, very frightened I still do not know what I will do when they are old enough to wander around and cause mischeif though at least I know that they will have friends around whom will watch them if I do not have my sights on them." Colche sighed gently "My own motehr died when I was very young, I was frightened for a long time because of that but these, these three they have opened a new world to me I know I am truely blessed to be the mother of three beautiful boys." Looking from her cubs to Mweko.
"If you wish I will come and help you when you are ready to birth, I know I would have been frightened if everyone hadn't come to help me, their whispers braught me through the pain." she looked to he three boys she guessed they would be rough and tumble when they got a little older already they scrabbled around blindly boxing each others ears. "Tomoyo is a baby sitter too, she has two cubs of her own but i am sure if you needed some peace time she would take them off your paws for a while. so not worry, we will all help, I promise"

"That means a lot to me", Mweko said, smiling. "I don't know any other female cheetahs, although I guess birthing always attracts many strangers to your side at the last moment, eh?", she said, giving a chuckle. "I really appreciate this ... and you putting up with me. I know you must be exhausted", Mweko said sheepishly, nervously kneading her claws vigerously into the soil. "I would love your help, Colche", she said, giving a slight bow of her head in respect.
Her good, blue eye fascened on the cubs once more. "What are their names?", she asked, both eyes twinkling.

Colche looked up at Mweko and smiled "that is what we are here for" she whispers "I'm sure my boys will keep your cubs busy too, I'm sure they can get in to plenty of trouble together" she giggled softly turning to groom her cubs.
"well Moyo is the creame cub, his name means Courage, Afiya is my little clone except his whorled are the colours of his fathers spots, his name means strength and the third he is akilli, his name means intelligence. I'm afraid I'm a sucker for the old stories I couldn't resist nameing them after the three brothers of ledgend she cooed nudging each cub in turn as she spoke their names. She was truely very proud of her little bundles.

"Such strong names", Mweko commented, looking admiringly at the cubs. She felt envious of Colche ... atleast her cubs were there. She couldn't stand waiting for her own to come. It was too exciting. She finally felt a little better about the whole deal. She'd be a good mother if she believed she could do it.
"What about your mate?", Mweko asked, tilting her head to the side in confusion. She hoped she wasn't butting into anythnig personal. She was curious as to why he wasn't there with Colche. Wouldn't he be excited, too?, she thought.

Colche laughed gently, she was so proud of their names her trins ehr boys she was so happy just to have them despite the pain they had caused her. "Thankyou I don't think I could be happier" the femme puurred her soft blue eyes dancing happily.
When Mweko asked about their father though the king spotted femme sighed and turned to look upon them "He left me when he'd had his way" she whispers, trying not to sound dissapointed. "A few of the males around here have promised to help me though, boys need a father figure even if it isn't their real father." She smiled wistfully remembering the days with the male she thought would be her perminant mate. "I'm happy" she coos her eyes turning back to Mweko "though my sons willnever know their father they carry his colours amongst them in subtle ways. I will remember him for this gift he hads given me and not for the heart break he left me with. I truely thank him for this wonderful life he has granted me." She laughed softly "I know that sounds corney but I could not imagine life even so soon after their birth, without them, I could not ask for more from my life only that they grow up strong and healthy and happy"

Mweko's eyes grew sad when Colche spoke about her mate. "I'm sorry", she said quietly, looking down at her paws. "Bichi wouldn't do that to me. I only feel so lucky. I know there are many males out there that couldn't care less about their cubs", Mweko gulped, hoping she was making the situation worse, "But they have you. Because you raise them on your own, they will be more bonded to you", she said with a small smile. "I agree with you. I couldn't live without my family. Before I had them, life seemed like a punishment, just fearing everything that came my way. I'm working on it, now", she laughed. "My cubs are life's silver lining. I feel more happy now about having more. I thank you for tha--", Mweko said, then stopped abruptly, holding her large belly in her paws. A ripple of pain shot through her body. "Ouph ... that wasn't fun", she said, smiling weakly. "Kickers. My mother used to say that cubs that kick are strong", she laughed, recalling the only bit of knowledge she'd ever gained from her parent.

Colche smiled and nodded "I have met Bichi, he's a sweet boy he will look after you" she puurrs, she knew alot of the cheetahs in the coalition lands this was her home after all. Her family.
"Well I can tell you thats true, therse three gave me trouble in their last few dyas before they were born, constantly moving and rolling about.." Her eyes danced happily as she looked at ehr babies. "They are definately worth the effort" she coos her dusty blue eyes smiling happily. "I'm excited to see their eyes open now, I wish to see if they gained their fathers golden eyes or not" she laughed half heartedly, she would always rememebr him he had givenher this wonderful beautiful gift and for that she thanked him.
