"Kanth, are you sure you're okay?" Erae murmured, putting his hand on her shoulder for the umpteenth time that evening.

"I'm fine, Erae. The tea is helping, thank you." She smiled as she sat in one of the big cushions, making herself comfortable as she sipped at her tea thoughtfully.

"I'm glad." Erae smiled as he snuggled into a ball on her lap, feeling like his old kid self, missing it, yet a part of him did not. He only wished to see his old friends, having not seen them for a long while. Erae hadn't been counting, but he knew that seasons had passed, and while he thought, he yearned.

"There hasn't been many people here, I think." Kanth murmured softly, running a finger down his back. "Including myself..."
