Is it the games? The anime? Does a certain Pokemon just captivate you like nothing else can?
Discuss why you love PKMN so much. 3nodding
For me, it's three things.
1. The classic games. R/B/Y and G/S/C. Yum.
2. Some of the PKMN. Like Espeon, of course. :3
3. Two words. Team Rocket. I love these two so much. Hell, the whole organization has me enthralled. They may be evil evil people, but they're just too cool... D: Team Rocket is literally the only reason I touch the anime with a 10 foot pole anymore. They are too awesome. Musashi + Kojiro = heart And Team Rocket = heart heart heart *obsesses*

Certain pokemon. DEFINETLY. whee I love the way certain pokemon look. *cough*Raikou*cough* The cards have a collecting ability to them, mainly only for looks now, with me.
So... probably the looks.
In the anime... um... I enjoy mocking them somethimes, but I have a tendacy to do that to dubbed/non-dubbed? animes I like. xp Plus, when I'm nicknamed a certian characture of the anime, I tend to like it more.

It's the fact that I can be obessively compulsive without having to worry about going broke in the process.
That, and I find it odd that I like several of the Pokemon everyone isn't to fond of.
Porygon (oh, you were such an under-rated yet strong Pokemon back in RBY... and then they went and changed Conversion), Smoochum (so what if she evolves into a scary blond! She's cute!), Wynaut (Why? Why not! blaugh ), and Munchlax (because Cartman is indeed a Pokemon)

I love it because it's so freaking addicting! Gotta catch 'em ALL. Every single one.
The music is cute and hummable too. And, while I do want a full pokedex (like that's ever gonna happen), I am fascinated by dark and psychic types. Power of the mind.
(Ok, I'm done now. Last time I post at 2:34 AM eek )

And I LOVE collecting little Pokemon plushies. I have a tiny stuffed Geodude and he is sooo cute! I named him George. heart

I was so attracted to Pokemon because of the wide variety of possibilites for your team. You can have it any way you want with any Pokemon you want! I remember in 3rd grade... when it first came out. That was the only reason I wanted a Gameboy. Plus it's the best RPG/Adventure game I've ever played.

Little Rachael I like the anime and the games. I wish I could see the anime in Japanese, though. crying And I LOVE collecting little Pokemon plushies. I have a tiny stuffed Geodude and he is sooo cute! I named him George. heart Those too, I remember there used to be little pokeball toys, I had a bunch of them! I'd play with them when I got bored doing homework in my room (after all, back when I was 17, that still woulda been weird). I believe I'm the only student on campus (college senior now sweatdrop ) that has a Pokemon VCR complete with Pikachu remote control.

Asta the Broken Those too, I remember there used to be little pokeball toys, I had a bunch of them! I'd play with them when I got bored doing homework in my room (after all, back when I was 17, that still woulda been weird). I believe I'm the only student on campus (college senior now sweatdrop ) that has a Pokemon VCR complete with Pikachu remote control. Yesterday I bought a stuffed Raichu and named it Raisa. heart

I was initially against getting Pokemon, then I caved in after staring at a picture of Charizard in a newspaper.
What got me into Pokemon is a love of monsters. What kept me stuck is a combination of RPG and strategy elements in the gameplay combined with getting to command a bunch of cool monsters in battle.

Hmmm... Several things interest me, and in no particular order they are:
-They're so addicting! I've been on a card buying spree lately, and I'm down to $10 in my checking account. Ouch. sweatdrop Must... have... one... of each... 6 more to go...
-Curiosity. I'm still maiting for them to explain some time what the hell these people eat. Are they all vegetarians, or are there other reasons for catching Pokemon? eek
-My beloved mudkip plushie.
-The games. Must catch them ALL!!! scream
