Beaten Ruby and I must say, that game is really easy. Too easy. After beating it, I played Pokemon Blue on my Gameboy Color (again) and I found it 10 times more difficult than RSE.
Such a shame. Oh well, I'm back. Not saying that's a good thing.
And by request to see my team:
(They're all at level 90. As I've said to Ginga on AIM, I'm a training whore. I got all my first 6 pokemon to level 15 before I faced the first Gym Leader. It would've been 20, but I remembered that you needed a badge to be able to control pokemon that strong.)
Gardevoir Swampert Pelipper Dustox Beautifly Mightyena
Yeah, they aren't that great, but these were the first six Pokemon I owned and I followed through with them to the end. Not only that, they adequately provide me all the elements and HMs I need.. It was quite surprising to know that there wasn't a use for Whirlpool in this game. confused Oh well, Dive made up for it...I guess.
I still like GSC best, because it incorporates Kanto and Johto. I like battling 16 Gym Leaders. Although I'd like GSC better if it had RSE's spiffy graphics. wink
And that's my two cents.

Oh, and to add to that, most of RSE's Pokemon are ugly. I nearly cried my eyes out when I saw what they did to Whismur when it evolved.

RSE is by far easier than any of the older Pokemon gameboy games. I've beaten it in as few as 5 hours and 25 minutes. The RBY series was challenging, and the GSC series just plain rocked. I really should try replay them to see exactly how difficult they are, because it's been so long sweatdrop
And yeah, RSE's Pokemon aren't really that exciting. There are some cool ones, but most of them are just plain weird. o_x

I have very fond memories of duking it out with a level eighty-one zap rat.
In mount silver.
Gods, I miss that.

Although you had to get pretty far to get Absol and it was weak compared to my Mightyena and plus, it'd take a lot of training to get that Absol to meet my Mightyena's standards, so I just decided to ditch it in Lanette's Box thing. They should've stuck with Bill.

So let's see...about 3 hours everyday for five days, so I'd have to say 15 hours? I only played when I got home from school at 3:30-6:30 (Parents get home by then.) so yeah...I don't play on weekends. Approximately 15 hours. 3nodding

Golem OTCT I have very fond memories of duking it out with a level eighty-one zap rat. In mount silver. Gods, I miss that. I remembered when I played Pokemon Blue for like, the sixth time...I decided to watch how strong my Tackle got with my Level 99 Blastoise (Okay, so I beat the game once, is it wrong to use the duplication glitch after playing it the hard way?!) and I beat the Elite Four with just using that move. X3 Good times!
