i dont know i'd have to say pokemon not like the t.v. show and stuff but the gameboy games they were so addicting i never thought i would care so much about these weird fuzzy cretures that kill each other for fun.
yeah it's a pretty fun game. i always loved the cheat where u talk to the guy in the beggining who teaches u to catch pokemon then u go to cinibar island and swim on the very edge then u get a rare pokemon though i really, really hate that lvl 400 snorlax that alwas kills me scream gonk well it's a pretty good game, even if u think it's a dork game u still have to admit it is a good, good game. 3nodding

Personally, I prefer something with a bit more plot... in any case, My favourite RPG... Well, multiple kinds of RPG exists, so...
A-RPG (Action RPG) Definitely the .hack// series of games. Though slightly repetitive after a while, and some-what hard to get secret parts to it (for instance, getting an event in one game lets you get events in the next... I missed out on one thing in MUTATION and so couldn't get others in OUTBREAK... ) Another advantage is that you play a dual-weapon wielding character. I loves them muchly. heart
My second favourite in this sub-genre is Square and Disney's illegitimate love child, Kingdom Hearts. Speaking of illegitimate love children... Riku is so obviously the love-child of Rikku and Sephiroth. ninja
Third, though not strictly an A-RPG, but pretty damn close, Chrono Trigger.
S-RPG (Strategy RPG) Without a doubt, Disgaea: Hour of Darkness. With a level cap of... was it 999? Or 9999? And multiple endings... you can't just play it once. ^_~ Other reasons for liking it... let's see... It's certainly one of the funniest games I've ever played... What other game has something like Etna's "Next Episode" section? Or characters that explode when you throw them? ... And then there's the catgirls, succubi, the American girl in a bikini... ninja
In second place, due to the distinct lack of S-RPGs, Final Fantasy Tactics: Advance. The original was never released over here... crying
MMORPG (Massive Multi-player Online RPG) ... These, unfortunately, cost money every month. The two I know of that are free, are ROSE Online, which I don't think is all that great, and Ragnarok Online, though only if played illegally. ninja My favourite class in the latter, is the noble Assassin... as as I've said above, I love dual wielders, and the 'Sin's fast, to boot. Of course, there's also much love for the powerful long-range archer/hunter class.
Ones that I'd want to play would be... World of Warcraft, or possibly... Final Fantasy XI. But I'm too poor to play them... crying Oh, and... some Star Wars game, or another... I don't know which though... so many to choose from.
OT-RPG (Original Type RPG) What can I say... First place for this category is Final Fantasy VIII... I'm a big fan of the junction system, the ability to upgrade weapons, have a friggin' mobile town, Odin randomly appearing and killing everything... The return of Doomtrain. heart (Which, by the way, is junctioned on Selphie. For she loves trains) Cactuar is love, Tonberry is.. weak. I need to work on him... But still, "DONK!" xd also... Eden has to have the longest "summon monster" FMV EVER!!! Holy crap... o_O
... I am master of the long post! P|-|ea|2 m3!

P masta, you should know what RPGs I like since you're my brother, since I spent the night crying when I had to restart chain of memories (one of My favorite RPGs) and BTW another one you forgot to mention is PSO (phantasy star online) but my favorites are illusion of Gaia, Secrate of Mana The FF series, kindom hearts, and KOTR (knights of the old republic) Edit: Oh wait, I forgot the Greatest RPG (in my world) Super mario RPG for the SNES, Good battle sequence, good music, and good areas, Every thing a game needs

I enjoyed KOTOR but since I don't believe in Xbox I got it for the computer, at first I thought it was only super laggy because my computer didn't have enough RAM but I later found it it was because the engine itself wasn't that great. The plot is nice but the fact that all the lag makes it a b***h to get anywhere doesn't help much. Nor does the fact that most of your party is light side oriented so even if you wanted to play the dark side you'd have to kill them off and I like the characters who are light oriented, I wouldn't want to kill them.
I enjoyed Final Fantasy VII up to the point of the final battle. Right now I just need to level up my characters a whole bunch so that I can face Sephiroth. Since that's tedious and time consuming I tend to avoid playing it now. >.<
I would like to play both Final Fantasy VIII and Phatasy Star Online volumes I & II but right now I can't afford them.
One game that's sort of done in an RPG style that I love is Freelancer. You cruise the galaxy doing odd jobs for people and the main plot involves a conspiracy and alien invasion of the four houses government positions.

However I have a feeling that if I check I can buy a copy online.
