Roleplaying VideoThis is the normal training gone under by all participants. Unlike the other training forums, to undergo this, you will be notified on your obstacles, officially allowing your ability to fight. These obstacles are the same for any participants, and win or lose, will be graded upon how well you do them. For warning, you will graded with numbers the highest being a 400, like in the marines, except for that it's not a 300. You will graded by- Grammar, overall acknowledgment of good rp, advanced vocabulary, and understanding and response to other rp's. To complete each one is not about speed, but about quality. Under optimal circumstances, you will be able to do what is right, if you know. These tests consist of the following- A 100 meter run, with 50 feet brick walls every 10 meters, and ropes, on both sides, with nothing but yourselves.
A 2 to 5-man mission that will consist of fighting an NPC or enemy group, which may be another group from this guild.
Beta Rp'ers Top Normal Status Passers1. 2. 3. 4. 5.
To be accepted, you must achieve a point range of at least 250. Quote: Group 1 Participants- 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Quote: Group 2 Participants- 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Quote: Group 3 Participants- 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. Quote: Group 4 Participants- 1. 2. 3. 4. 5.

Feild The large battle arena, is set in a LARGE city area, with many buildings, sewer pipes, alleys, gardens, hostpitals, bathrooms etc. everything for a functioning city. In the middle sets a LARGE Raised platform, 400 fet high, 200 yards long, and 400 yards wide. This is 24 times the size of the surface area of a football ontop, and is covered entirely with grass. Walls, about 80 feet high, and 2 feet thick, with carbon titanuim-steel rods, and with aluminum, imbedded in the middle, and is nearly impentrable. This makes it nearly impossible to fall off, and are curved at a slant, in order to allow sunlight in. The rest of it, is basic city. There is a water fountain the middle too. Fists are allowed here ONLY unless permitted. When you battle, you will be sent here, it is the general place. It will changed if said. It will be altered as neccisary. Post to join to become an official participant, and train.

Rush started jogging slow so he didn't tire himself out too quickly. He noticed a 50 ft high brick wall coming up. When he reached the wall he stopped, and firmly grasped the rope. He began hauling himself up the rope. As he started to get higher and higher off of the ground he tried to concentrate on putting one hand over the other to climb the rope after about 5 minutes of climbing he reached the top. He grabbed rope on the other side and swung one leg over, then the other. He began to rapell down the side of the wall letting himself fall at a steady pace but not to fast to avoid getting rope burn. He made down in about half the time it took him to climb the opposite side. When his feet touched the ground he breathed out a sigh of relief. He began Jogging to the next wall.
When he reached the next wall he stopped for a brief rest. He looked around to see if there were any other Recruits but he so far he was alone on the course. It was still mornin so it wasn't very hot yet. Better to finish the course before it got to be too hot. He grabbed the rope and began climbing it. It was the same as before, when he reached the top he grabbed the opposite rope and swung his legs over and began to rapell down the side. When he reached the other side he began jogging towards the third wall.

Rush got to the third wall and began to climb. He was starting to get tired now and his hands were starting to slip a little on the rope. He placed his feet on the wall to help himself climb. When he reached the top he grabbed the rope and swung one leg over, while he was swinging the second leg over he lost his footing and almost fell. He grabbed the rope tighter. Swearing under his breath he cursed himself for not paying more attention. He began rapelling down the second side of the wall. When he got to the ground. He let go of the rope and began running towards the 4th wall. His breathing was ragged from all the running and climbing he was doing. when he reached the wall he jumped onto the rope and began climbing quickly. His arms were starting to ache now but he ignored the ache and kept on climbing. He reached the top and grabbed the other rope and swung himself over. He rapelled down and started running towards the 5th wall.
He got to the 5th wall and looked around again. Still no other recruits, just the instructor watching him closely. He grabbed the rope and began pulling upward. His arms began to ache even more and he could no longer ignore the pain. He gritted his teeth and kept climbing. Upon reaching the top he grabbed the rope and swung his legs over. He rapelled down and when his feet touched the ground he turned around and began to spring towards the 6th wall. He reached it in no time and began climbing. He pushed himself harder than before because he wanted to finish the course and be done with it. He made it up faster than the previous times. He reached the top and grabbed the rope. and sat on the top of the wall. he ripped off pieces of his shirt and tied the cloth to his hands. He then grabbed the rope again and began sliding down the rope, using his hands to slow his descent. He reached the ground and ran towards the 7th wall
He looked up to the sky as he ran, the sun was higher in the sky and the temperature was climbing steadily. He was sweating heavily from all the work he was doing. He reached the wall and started climbing. The ache in his arms had gone away for the moment and he welcomed not feeling any pain, even if it was for a few minutes. He reached the top and grabbed the rope and swun his body over to the other side and began to slide down the rope. When his feet touched the ground he fell down from exhaustion. He lay there for a minute unable to move. Finally he forced himself up and began running towards the 8th wall.

Skeksys looked at the first wall, planning his ascent from the start line. He did not want to start before he had visualised the whole course. He decided that the best way to do it would be with his gloves on, even though they may slow his ascent, his descent could be much quicker thanks to them and he hoped that this would give him enough of a boost in confidence to keep him going.
Skeksys closed his eyes, seeing himself running along the course, climbing the walls carefully, wrapping his the rope around his hands for each step of the way so that he did not slip back, getting to the top and grabbing both ropes as he transfered himself over, then sliding down and going for the next wall. When he opened his eyes, he felt his pupils shrink as they adjusted to the light and focused on the point on the rope that he hoped to catch onto.
Wall 1: ((Theses are for me to see where I am. Terrible memory.)) Skeksys started off sprinting, as was his way. It took him no time to get to the first wall and he jumped hard at the metre mark, adding about three feet onto his start. He managed to grab the rope and wrap it quickly enough not to slip back, his feet stopping his body from hitting hard onto the wall. He climbed with his feet against the wall and the rope diagonal to the wall so that he was walking up the wall more than climbing it. He easily got to the top and let his feet slide down slowly until he was hanging, one hand on the wall, the other still on the rope. He pulled up with both and grabbed the rope from the other side before pulling himself further, sqinging his legs up to his left at the same time to get them over the wall. As he was passing over, he looked down and felt his stomach clench.
He became light-headed as he realised how high he was but he kept his cool, breathing deeply. He dropped his legs down and slid down the rope but when he got to the bottom his legs collapsed underneath him. When he looked up at the next wall, he shook his head. He would need to regain himself before attempting the next climb.
((Part 1 complete. And yes, I'm afraid of heights, sue me. Oh, and I would like to undergo normal status training.))

Wall 2: He stood slowly, walking instead of running to get to the next wall, his legs shaky from fear and his mind swimming with pessimistic visions. He stood at the base of the wall, looking up at the top of the rope. He would have to try and find a way to stop himself from thinking of how high he was and this was not helping. He looked at the rope in front of him and wrapped it around his right hand in his way, then pulled, stepping onto the wall again and starting his climb. It passed without anything going wrong, even though Skeksys' heart was beating as if there was no tomorrow and his stomach felt like it was doing flip flops. He got to the top and once again let himself slide down before starting to cross over. This time he made sure that all he was looking at was the wall.
It worked, but only barely, the knowledge of being so high did not leave his mind and that kept him from being totally calm. He transfered rope and slid down again, landing fine this time. In his mind he told himself that it was not all that bad but that did not dispel the knowledge that there were still eight walls to go.
Wall 3: He managed to run to the next wall, his legs becoming more steady as he went, and a smile creeping onto his face as he realised the worst part was over. Again he scaled the wall, noting all the details as he climbed this time, seeing the details and enjoying the feeling of being high although he knew that looking down would probably bring a wave of nausea with it now that he was already slightly hit.
When at the top, he didn't do his normal routine. He walked all the way up, eventually having his legs on the edge of the wall. He crouched down, keeping the rope taut at all times, then took the other one. He used this one to pull himself the rest of the way onto the wall. The feeling of standing there was exhilirating and he felt renewed somehow. He crouch again and let himself fall sideways and forward, spinning himself so that he was facing the wall again before he let himself slide down. When he landed he bent his legs slightly taking away some of the impact and he was happy to find that he could straighten them again without effort, the fear had left him for the moment.
Wall 4: He sprinted to the fouth wall, his spirits clearly up and repeated the flying leap that he had used on the first wall. He caught the rope, only just and his foot slipped because of it, allowing his left knee to hit the wall hard. He gritted his teeth as pain shot through his leg and his knee locked up. He started to pull himself up using nothing but his arms this time, letting his leg continue its course from fully functioning to totally stiff and useless back to functioning. This had happened to many times to him for him not to know what to do.
He reached the top, his leg now fully stiff. He pulled hard to try and get his chest onto the top of the wall. He failed the first time, missing the use of his legs. The second time, he got his left arm onto the wall properly, then using it to lever himself up onto the wall before grabbing the down rope and letting himself slide off the wall to get onto the down side properly. He slid down slowly, making sure that he did not land to hard on his leg.
When he did land, he walked to the next wall, forcing his leg to start working. Slowly it regained some of its former usefullness but not all of it. He got to the wall and decided against scaling it just yet. Instead, he walked in circles for a bit, losening the joint again. Once this had been done for about five minutes, he turned back to the wall.
Wall 5: ((Although you could argue that the last Para was start of wall 5, that was a prelude.)) He stepped onto it slowly, taking the rope firmly in his hand but not wrapping it just time, he needed to have a quick way down in case his leg started to act up while he was climbing. He took 6 steps up the wall before his knee started to ache again. He stood on the wall, looking how close the top was. He decided that it would be easier to continue so he slowly let his legs slide down so that he would be using his arms again.
It was then that he discovered how tired his arms actually were. Before he had been so focused on his leg that he had not noticed his arms. Now, without the steady pain from his knee, he could feel the burning in his biceps. He climbed to the top of the wall, then hung there, both hands holding the wall this time instead of one on the wall and one on the rope.
Once the burning had faded a bit, he pulled himself up until he could swing his left leg up. Luckily it did not sieze up again and he slid himself up onto the wall itself. Up here he rested, his chin on the wall's top and his body flat on it. Once he had caught his breath and the pain in his arms was gone completely, he let himself drop down so that he could begin his slide down the rope. The descent was quick but he knew that the last few walls would be killers now that his arms were starting to burn.

Wall 6: Skeksys walked up to the next wall, looking at the top and focusing on it, not looking at anything else. He was telling himself that he was halfway through now and that this half would be just as easy. It didn't work. The voice that he got his name from chirped up in his head that he was lying and ruined the whole thing. He felt himself change in some way and knew that the true Skeksys was lending him some resolve. He smiled gratefully as he took hold of the rope, his eyes now emotionless and his face dead in concentration.
He pulled hard as he stepped onto the wall, the pain, although strong was not as bothering as before, the joys of having Skeksys help him. He walked slowly, letting his arms rest before each step and allowing himself time to place his next step on a rougher patch of wall so he would not slip. He made it to the top and dropped into the hanging position that he had used for the first couple of walls. He pulled himself up easily, using the thought that he was now more than halfway to inspire himself.
Wall 7: After sliding down the other side, he walked to the other wall and thought of it as the fourth wall before the end. It lifted his spirits slightly, but not enough. This one was going to be a pain and he knew it. The burning in his arms was constant now and there was nothing he could do to fight it, that he knew for sure. He would have to force himself to take everything slowly so that he did not tear anything.
He jumped the first bit of rope, making sure that he did not actually use his arms to stop him as much as climb after he had jumped and when the momentum from the jump was gone there was no shock for his arms. He started to climb this time, pulling with his arms but also pushing with his feet. He did not want to risk the wall walk as he didn't trust his arms at the moment. At least this way if he did fall he would land on his feet.
He made it to the top and once again he hung there, panting, waiting for the pain in his arms to subside a bit before he pulled himself up. After about half a minute, he decided it was time to pull up. He pulled up slowly, not able to go any faster and swung his leg onto the wall. He did not stop this time but continued in one fluid movement onto the other rope, sliding down quickly, only slowing himself just before the end so that he did not cripple himself.
Wall 8: Skeksys dragged himself over to the next wall, he had been transfering his exhaustion into his legs so that his arms would take less strain and if how difficult his legs were to move was anything to go by, it was working. He took hold of the rope and tested the pull to see how badly his arms would burn with this climb. It seemed that it was much less than before so he started his climb, using his feet to lock onto the rope below him and push himself up at the same time as he pulled. This technique seemed to work very well and he was soon at the top of the wall and sitting with his legs on either side. He was looking back at what he had come through and smiled. It had been a long time since he had started thinking this would be an easy training course.
He grabbed the rope on the down side and let himself start slipping that way, bring his leg over just before it became uncomfortable. He unclenched his hand and slowly he descended down to the grass. Seeing what he had come through had given him more strength and the pains were almost gone, just nagging reminders that it had been a long and hard day so far.
Wall 9: ((Almost there.)) Skeksys started to walk up the next wall confidently, not even stopping at the base to step up on the first one. He was sure that he had now conquered the course and he was feeling better than ever. He got to the top easily and after a single try managed to get over it and onto the other side. He smiled as he started to slide down but his troubles had not ended. The rope turned, swinging him into the wall because it had been so twisted.
The impact surprised him and he let go of the rope, still about 12 feet from the ground. He felt himself tilting wrong but he could do nothing to prevent it. He managed to get his feet to land first and he pushed so that he could try to get into a roll. He used his arms to pull his head and torso down properly for the roll. It worked and he lay on his back, panting in shock and anger, shock at the luck he had just had and anger at getting cocky and not checking the rope properly.
Once he had caught his breath, he rolled to his right and pushed himself up onto his hands and knees before standing again. He looked at the last wall, not turning fully, his pupils growing due to the forward tilt of his head. He was looking at it with his pupils at the top of his eyes as if it were an enemy that he was trying to threaten.
Final Wall: Skeksys walked slowly to the final wall, gathering himself and all the strength he had left. This was the last one and he would put everything into beating it, knowing that it would be the hardest due to pure physical exhaustion. He stepped onto the wall, double wrapping his hand instead of the normal single wrap he had been using.
He went through each step, double wrapping his hands before unwrapping the last and taking the next step. It took him 5 minutes to get up the wall this way and when he got to the top it was the best feeling for him, he had conquered the course. He took hold of the final rope, making sure that it was right this time before moving onto it. He slid down slowly, exhaustion starting to take over. He laned and walked over the finish line, a smile on his face.
He had made it.
((And that's the first part done.))

He started toward the first wall, and pulled on the rope, and then started climbing, he kept pulling hand over the other, and then reached the top. He slid down the rope on the other side his gloves sliding along it. he reached the bottom, and started running to the next wall.
then he started climbing it, and his arms alreadt started burning, but he was used to this feeling. He got to the top, and slid down again, but this time going down like he was climbing back down a mountain. He reached the bottom and brushed his leg, and rushed to the next wall, his thighs started burning too.
next after what seemed like an hour he reached the next wall, and started climbing using his feet for some support. He went slowly but efficiently. He got to the top, and saw 7 more walls, wow this is long. then he decided to just slide down to resere energy.
He kept going to the next one but as if a burst of adreniline came in his body he felt re-energized, and started climbing the next wall determined to make it to the end. He reached the top, 6 more, then clmbed down.
He started skipping to the next wall to keep some energy, insteand of running full pace. He reached it, and hopped up onto the rope, and started climbing once more, his gloves started to rip through by now, and his hands started to burn as skin peeled off. He reached the top then took the gloves off, and put them in his pockets and continued to climb down revealing a more fleshy wound.
He got to the 6th wall, and then climbed rapidly not giving in to the exaushtion, and pain he was taking on his arms, and upper body. He got half way, and he missed grabbing the rope, and he slid partially, but his hand gripped on so he wouldn't fall. He then pulled himself higher, and reach the top. His hands were completely raw. This is more than I thought It would be, he thought then climbed down trying not to hurt his hands more.
He continued on to the 7th wall, almost done he said then climbed up, each grasp striking pain through his arms, and body. He got to the top and crouched for a second, gotta keep going no matter what, he said then went down his arms burning from exhaustion.
On the 8th wall he climbed more raidly knowing he was close. He reached the top, and a wav of exhaustion hit him suddenly, and his eyes rolled back and his view went blurry, and started to drop, no keep going, he said to himself then climbed down to the 9th wall....
On the 9th wall he started the climb but his arms wouldn't let him. He focused his conciousness on the task he took, can't fail them he said then kept climbing, and reached the top and then saw the last wall, finnally. then climbed down, and tried to keep his focus on the wall not his pain.
He started climbing and faltered. He reached for the rope, and kept pulling but to no avail. I've come so far I'm not stopping now he said then started climbing through pain, and didn't let go until he reached the top, then when he climbed down, he slid, he didn't care if his hands hurt, he could fix them later.
