It had been a long trip. Infact it had been an exceedingly long trip. Stopping starting, getting lost going round in circles. Finally though he had found a guide, a guide whom had left him to go her own way. she hadn't taken him as her own. He was thanking the gods for that. His mother, gods rest her soul, had ordered him to come here, the mistweaver lands. Now that he was here though what was he to do? Blinking a few times his deep orange eyes resting on the pretty mist covered lands he lay down to think with a grassy flump.

"Hum" he mused quietly, quite obviously he had to find a new female. he could not go through life without being in somones servitude! It was against everything he beleived. Females were in charge! If he wasn't obaying their every whim his life was worthless and he might as well find the nearest cliff and dive off of it! His wasy of thinking was perfectly sound. At least to him. So with the resolution of finding a new master (he almost thought mother) he padded away in to the damp morning air. the first female he found would be the one whom owned him. It was simple enough. He just had to find a female and tell her that he now belonged to her mind body and soul she just had to tell him what to do.

He was quite pleased with this plan. he had gotten to the mistweavers and was trying to continue the life his mother had taught him to live. Very please, now, if only he could find a female in all this fog...

Petite Nyunya was wandering through this early morning fog, to the left of Liza's line of sight. She'd snuck out of her den before the sun had peeked above the horizon this morning, fully intent to finally cross the boarder that separated her lands and the Pridelands. Though, now she was here, she felt that same doubt that had always kept her rooted to Umande'mfuni lands. With a sigh, she came to a stop, letting crimson eyes scan the mist as she shook salmon fur out of her eyes. That's when she saw Liza.

She tilted her head a little. Yet another stranger in the lands. So many were travelling here recently. First lion stranger she'd seen in a while though. Ny remained silent, waiting for him to notice her as her black-tufted tail swept back and forth.

Liza was in a bit of a day dream having thought up his great all mighty plan of action and it was a long time before he saw movement. However he could hardly miss the white pink and black female crawling through the undergrowth. His dark eyes went wide. he had to make a good impression. So he dropped to his belly. His shoulders still peered over the top f the grass but his chin lay hard upon the ground "pl..pl..please e..e..excuse me ma'am" he stuttered his eyes closed tightly, did that sound right? Had he made a blunder already?

His tail lashed back and forth nervously, what could he do now? "uh..uhm..i..i..I..h..h..hope I'm nnnot intru..tru..truding on your w..w..walk maa'am" he swallowed hard. She couldn't possibly be mad at him for that could she? Already he was worried he'd set out to find a new master to tell him what to do, what a wonderful idea it was infact and already he'd made a bad impression.

At his tone and stuttering, Ny's vermilion eyes went a bit wide. They immediately darted around. She wasn't stupid (far from it, in fact, probably something she got from her father, because Denge was somewhat lacking in that department), and if something scared this big male, for scared he did sound, she knew that it would most likely scare her, too. Little did she know he was afraid of her. It's hardly a surprise she'd not think that. Even her younger siblings had not even a twinge of fear for her. They were all nearly as big as her, you see. She so hoped she'd start growing before they grew larger than she. It would be embarrassing; no doubt Feddy would rub it in as much as possible. He already knew she had a size issue.

She took a few steps closer to Liza, still glancing around somewhat nervously. "You're not intruding," she murmurs almost absently. "What's made you so frightened?" Her question was, as usual, horridly blunt and to the point. No beating around the bush for her.

Liza swallowed hard at her questioning. "Uh..uhm" he muttered trying to think up a reasonable answer that wouldn't get him beaten bitten or mauled "Uhm..mmma'am I uh..have uh al..always b..b..bben tu..tu..taught to..to..to uhm be af..afraid of the muhmuh..muh..masta ma'am" he managed his ears flattening tightly. His whole body tenced as he waited for punishment. saying somethign as foolish as that would obviously get him a clip around the ear. Once upon a time when he was only young he had told his mother she frightened him and he had gained such a walloping from the female he had never said it again. How could he make the same mistake twice in one life time? Clearly he made alot of mistakes thats why he was always being punished!

His eyes were scrunched shut as he lay there acctually dithering at this tiny females feet. Foolish it may have seemed but that was how it was for him. he had to obay a female or be punished by uncertain doom. Wasn't that the way of the world after all?

Somewhere in all that stuttering, she'd managed to hear that he was frightened of a master. As she looked down at his cringing form, her brow furrowed in cofusion. He was afraid of this master of his, and yet he was cowering before her. HER. She was hardly taller than him when he grovelled like this. It was certainly confusing her. Of course, she might have used her wit to figure out he was bowing in fearful subservience to her, but the idea was so ludicrous it simply didn't enter her mind.

In the end, she put a tiny paw against one of his shoulders and gave a weak nudge. "Stop that. Sit up. Please." She didn't use please and thank you often, but this male was clearly frightened. Perhaps a little politeness wasn't too much to do. "Where is this master of yours?" Her tone is a little gentler this time. And she should know, she supposed. He seemed a real character, to instil such fear in an adult male like this.

Liza looked up at the little female and he physically and bodily cringed when she touched him even rolling tohis side a little in a 'I give up' possiion. of course when she told himt o sit, he did so in an instant looking down at the little female with a stoic look upon his maw. He didn't smile unles she was told to. he was thrilled though he had found a master and in nearlly no time at all!

he'd stopped shivering because she told him to his gentle orange orbs resting on the pink headed femme. He raised both brows when she asked who the master was. Well obviously this was another test, she would know he belonged to her now, he had bowed and everything! Maybe he had done soemthing wrong? Maybe in the mist weaver lands you didn't just bow to your master. No doubt he would learn in time and after punishments. "Y..Y..You are mm'aam." he stated simply lowering his head between his shoulderblaes in a low bowing manner. his head was low enough for her to clip his chin and he expected it for not answering swiftly enough.

She blinked, surprised. She was his master? That could hardly be right. He could squash her like a bug should he wish to! Her crimson eyes narrowed a little, suspecting, at first, she was being tricked in some way. But her brain caught up with the jumping to conclusions, and she paused, her expression softening once more. He had honestly been frightened... of her, apparently. You can't fake fear that strong, at least not convincingly. He really was afraid of her. The thought makes her smile a little. To her slightly vain and egotistical mind, this was wonderful. But common sense made her not trust this completely.

Time for a test.

Sadly, though, she couldn't think of anything she'd want him to do. She hardly needed anything; her mothers provided everything for her and never left her wanting for anything. So what was she to do with this... servant? "If I'm your master," she says slowly after a moment, "you'll be staying here, will you not?"

"Y..y..yes ma'am if you..you..you wwish it" He stated he hadn't been cuffed yet perhaps he had answered swift enough after all? Yay! "I can hunt and d..d.do any anything y.. you want" he stuttered. that one always pleased his mother, he would do anything she wanted she just had to ask. His head stayed bowed in a subservient manner waiting for her to inform him of what she commanded. After all he would jump through hoops if she wished it!

He closed both eyes for a moment perhaps buttering her up some would make her not punish him as much. He had tried that once too it had worked for a little while but his mother was slap happy. "P..P..p.." he paused he couldn't get that word out past his stuttering lips "muh maybe you would l..l..like a sn..sn..snack m..m..maa'm or uhm I can uhm..uh" he couldn't think of anything, ah "muh maybe you would luh..luh..like a luhlift" he blinked a few times he realised how small his new master was but it didn't seem to occur to him that he could hurt her not the other way around. Of course it also didn't occur to him that her size was an upsetting thing to her.

Her ears perked up at the last. A lift? Now that sounded interesting. She did enjoy being carried around, but convincing either of her mothers to do such a thing took effort. She didn't expend effort unless she had to. "A lift. Yes. That would be nice." She smiled, then tilted her head at him again. "You don't need to stammer so. You can relax." She took a short pause. "You have a name? I'm Nyunya."

She took a long look around, considering the landscape she knew well. She would have to find him somewhere to stay and sleep. She doubted Denge and Ithi would appreciate a male moving into their den, and she didn't think they'd be too thrilled with him being Nyunya's... servant. No, it was best for this big yellow and black male not to meet her family. Not yet, anyway. Possibly not ever, if she could manage it.

Liza looked shocked. He had forgotten to give ehr his name? He lay down slowly so that his head was lower than hers "Liza, miss Nyunya" he paused "Mmy name is Liza" He smiled a little. He liked his name though he never knew why his mother gave him the name of a sun god. He was no god. His mother had great things planned for him he had let her down greatly to say the least.

"Puh..please ma'am cl..climb on" He stuttered trying to calm his stutterung tongue would take time, the more nervous he was the more he stuttered. Though this grew less over the time he was with somone he always had a slight wobble in his voice.

This was certainly going better than he thought! He had managed not to get clipped once yet despite his slip of the tongue. He had picked the right master he decided! His mother would be proud, gods rest her soul. He had found a master even though she was a rather small one he would follow her to the ends of the earth should she tell him to.

"Liza." She nods, letting the name roll on her tongue. "I like it. We have to find you somewhere to sleep, though, Liza." Nyunya hopped daintily onto his back, shifting her form until she had settled herself comfortably, laid across him like she truly did own him. Although, she supposed, in his mind, she did. It was going to take some getting used to, that's for sure.

"Head that way," she says, vaguely gesturing with a paw, "and follow my scent until you come to a slope leading up to a set of caves, ok?" That was her home; while he wouldn't be sleeping there, she wanted him close by. And he would probably want to be near her, too.

"Yes Maa'm" he whispered following the direction of her paw. He padded along slowly his broad back easily supporting the little female laying accross him as if she were a queen upon a great big yellow cushion being ferried by four black and yellow slaves (his legs heee). Still he padded along happily, he looked overly pleased with himself. He had definately done well. He decided, he had found a mistress to tell him what to do and in next to no time she had taken up the possition.

Padding fairly lightly considering his size, they were soon at the slope he looked down at the caves and back to his small pink furred lady. looking back over his shoulder, had she meant for him to stop here or keep going to the caves? He had better check. Smiling and letting his ears rest against his black and grey mane he waited for her next order. It wasn't in him to ask a question without being told to ask one. he was much more used to being told what to do every step of the way and that was fine by him.

As they approached the fairly steep incline, she once more daintily leapt from his back. She shook her fur lightly, puffed the stubborn long fur that continually fell into her eyes out of her line of sight, and then started up the hill. "Come on. This way," she calls quietly over her shoulder. She moves on, sure-footed paws making not a sound as she creeps up the slope.

She doesn't realise it, but she adopts the slinking stride of a hunting predator. It's an instinctual reaction to wanting to move stealthily up this hill, so as not to alert her family to her presence. Any one of them finding out would most likely put an end to this strange new relationship that had developed between her and Liza. Of course, she would probably never see herself as his master. Probably as just the dominant friend. And she really did need a friend who lived closer than the Graveyard.

Liza was quite surprised when she jumped, he had expected her to tell him to lie down for her to step off with ease. he wouldn't say anything though that was against his very being to go against the female he ahd dubbed as master.

Following her he too took on a stealthy prowl. he was mimicing her almost although he had had alot of practice at hunting and knew just how to stalk after a creature. he wanted to ask her why they were sneaking but he kept his mouth shut and crawled along behind her in deathly silence his ears pinned against his head and his orange eyes fixed upon the white and black tail of the little female.
