  • Only alphas may post here. Unless you have been asked to post in an RP here (for plot purposes only), posting is restricted to those who are not alphas of a clan.
  • Keep fights to a minimum. This is a meeting ground for the alphas mainly to talk. I'm fine with fights breaking out here every now and then between the four, but not everytime they meet up.
  • Keep things PG13. Follow Gaia's TOS, and don't post anything inappropriate.
  • Try and turn off your sigs. From time to time depending on what computer I'm using with sigs on the pages wont load, so please try and turn them off.

  • Bara'roul is first and formost a cave.
  • It is found deep within the center of the lands, though it is unknown to most.
  • Though most alphas know of it, many other hyena's do not.
  • The surounding area around the cave is small. Consiting of a few umbrella trees and a clutter of rocks.
  • The inards of the Bara'roul cave is incredibly dark, and becomes damp as one goes in further.
  • The cave, once one enters it deep enough is a large twisting maze.
  • Many bones lay about in the cave.
  • Many have vanished, never to return out of the cave.
  • It is often that one would get lost within the cave.
  • There are two large rocks crossed right by the cave's side. This is called the Kuzimu (meaning place of spirits), and is a mark that the alpha is in the correct place.
  • Alpha meetings usually are right at the cave opening, rarly ever inside the cave itself.

Dakindi stood a few paces within the cave, her glowing eyes cutting through the pressing dark. There was a force of some kind here, as old as the cave itself... It gave the darkness a presence, a weight, a life of its very own. She cocked her head and listened, for what she did not truly know, and smiled at the faint sound of hooves. The bones within this cave were the bones of prey, dragged and left here as gifts, or wounded and then forgotten. Sacrifices?
She would never know, didn't really care, but the sound of their steps played in her mind, for she was the Queen of the GhostHunt. Their steps would forever be haunted by her own when she passed on, and her Clan would join her as they grew weary of this life, together they would run among the stars.
With a mocking bow of her head and a laugh she turned toward the entryway, intent on making her way home.

A drawn out yawn fled its way from the male's maw. It was probably one of the first times a male had ever set foot upon these grounds. How many male clan leaders had there been before him? There weren't any stories, simply stories of great female leaders, why had the males always taken the backseat? His cream hair fell to his left side, covering up one of his eyes. What stories could a place like this tell? He wasn't sure. In fact he wasn't sure what he was doing here.

What had given him an idea of starting a clan of his own? Who had planted such a crazed idea in his mind. It was far to late now. He couldn't go back, and he didn't want to. Females always ranking the highest, even pups would be ranked higher then himself. No he was tired of such things, and he had not met any that believed him when he spoke of the war that was going on between the hyena's and the lions.

This was a new age, a male for a clan leader...Such things before would have been absured, he was sure.

Legs stiffened as he looked ahead to the cave, faintly he could see a purple hyena. Oviously a female and even more so the leader of a clan. His large ears perked up and he just stood there, watching.

Dakindi could feel the eyes of the other. She could smell him just outside, and as she turned her glowing eyes in his direction, she saw him just, standing there. Wondering why he was here, and even more why he resisted the sweet Ghostly call of the cave, she walked toward the outside, intent on speaking with him.
The way he carried himself made her think alpha, but the idea to go with the male made her tilt her head. A male alpha? It was unheard of. The males were trouble, always had been, that was why females were in charge. As they always had been.
Halting outside, she cast her eyes to the moonlit sky, smiling slightly at the sight of the glowing orb, and then turned back to the newcommer, wondering if she would have to speak first. These lands were unclaimed other than the meeting place of leaders, would he question her presence here? Should she question his?
Slightly curious, she faced him and waited.

Slowly his cream tail flicked upward as he lowered himself onto his haunches, sitting was far better then standing right about now. There was so much silence between the two, he wasn't sure of what to say. Lime eyes narrowed, as he focused more on the female's pelt. It was quite beautiful, appering as a night sky, almost as if she herself was a part of the vast beauty above the world.

Curling his tail around his right hind paw, his ears lowered slightly. What to say? This was something he wasn't sure of, after all a male in the clan leaders meeting place, a place only those who ruled over a clan knew about. Certainly it was odd to find of all things, a male standing...Or well sitting about the cave's entrance.

The silence however...Was...Plesant of all things, but he knew he'd have to say something sooner or later.

"I should explain what I'm doing here..." he began. Well certainly he'd have to. As any male showing up in such a place would. Alpha or not, he'd in some way have to give an explination.

Dakindi couldn't force herself to relax enough to sit, so instead she pace forward a few steps and considered the male again. His markings were unusual, a glowing green, as were his eyes. She cocked her head wondering if they meant anything, and then gave a flick of her tail.
He was a strapping thing, but strong, almost too strong for her tastes. He felt dominant, like if she closed her eyes she would think another alpha female was standing before her.
How could this be?
She smiled at his words.
"I confess I am.. Curious." She murmured with a nod. "And it is not a common thing for me to be."

Another female made her way to the entrance of the cave. The black form stuck out against the savannah's seppian colors. She moved with grace, and weilded authority in every movement. A Alpha Female who knew what she was.

She scented the two long before she saw them. The other Female she was expecting but not the male. What was he doing here? His place was with his Clan, not in a leaders place.

Dakindi sensed the other female and turned as she came into view, offering a dip of her head in silent salute. She knew this one was Alpha, and didn't question it, she didn't have to. They were what they were, but that male was different.
When the female was within speaking distance Dakindi took a step forward and introduced herself. "Dakindi, GhostHunt Clan."
She flicked her ears forward and waited for the other female's name.

Krog gave a nod, curiosity had been expected, as it would have been if a pup had been in the alphas meeting ground. His large ears perked up, the tips flopping over as they usually did, as he slowly turned his head towards another female. Pressure was certainly washing over him now.

Now it seemed he owed an explination, to not one, but two females. His tail unculred as he flicked it back and forth against the dirt. His lime green eyed gaze turned back towards Dakindi whom had just spoken her name to the other female. He'd direct his explination at her and repeat it to the other female should she choose not to listen to what he was speaking to the other.

With a slight dip of his maw, he grined. "I am Krog. Leader of the Hondo clan." it was as simple as that, though he could explain more should any of the two females ask of it.

Dakindi turned to the male, her eyes sharp with doubt. Yet she sniffed, and gave a faint sneeze. He was male. He was Alpha. The gods chose who they would, and none would ever know why...
"Well met Krog." She said with a nod of her head. "And greetings go forth to the Hondo Clan, from the GhostHunt Clan."
She glanced at the other female, wondering at her silence, but did not press it. No Alpha worth their status ever prodded another for answers, it was disrespectful and rude. And simply not done.
"Did you feel.. Called here?" She asked Krog, eyes turning back to the darkness of the cave.

Denali watched the other Alphas from a distance... she had desided to,... take a break from her walk. Apparently her lazier side was begining to poke though at the moment, which, wouldn't help her much. Oh well! She was an Alpha, there for she was a Queen, and could do whatever her cold little heart desided!

...Oh lord...

She eyed the other Hyena for a moment, before glancing around, her bright cyan eyes seeming to glow lightly. She streached her body, finaly pushing herself up onto her paws, pondering for a moment to go over to the other Alphas. She wasn't hesitating, not out of nervousness... She just wasn't sure if she wanted to waste her energy going over to the others. She'd see first if they'd notice her.

Krog gave a dip of his maw, "And greetings to the GhostHunt Clan." he smiled best he could. His light coloured tail, flicked back and forth, greens eyes staring upon the female. He had certainly expected more questions, but yet he wasn't met by anymore. He was greateful for that. Perhaps being a male alpha wouldn't be as awkward as he had thought when he had become one.

"Called here?" he paused, his gaze tilting upwards. "I suppose you could say that I was." And such was true, he did feel the need to come to Bara'roul, though he had not known where it was located. Somehow he did seem to find his way, so perhaps it was something that had called him there.

His long ears perked up, as a soft sound flowed into them. Someone else was there. His gaze shifted around, yet he couldn't seem to spot anyone. Oh well, they'd show themselves soon enough, he was sure.

Denali snorted as the male looked her way, but didn't see her. She forced herself onto her paws, padding over to the two Alphas she saw, no way waiting to be noticed now.

She eyed the female first, then looked at the male. She hesitated for a moment, then dipped her head down slightly down to the two. "Alphas, I presume." she said. Thats one way to begin a conversation...

Her tone was dark and icy as she spoke. "I am Denali, Queen of Khelek Hurro'" she said, refuring to herself as a Queen, rather than just Alpha.

She padded once more back into Bara'roul. Business of a serious matter had called her away. The alpha noted that the male was still there with a small snort. What did he think this was, a lions pride?

"Greetings." The black females husky voice slid through the air. "I do apologize for my abrupt leave." It was directed to the leader of the Ghost Hunt clan. "And you, I greet." This was said to Denali. The male was ignored.

She nodded to the dark coated female in greetings. Well, someone here knew how to greet a queen...

Arrogent little...
She let her bangs cover her eyes slightly to hide the slight, icy-glow to them. Dena decided, that for now, it was probably beter to just make friends with the alphas, than argue and try to compete with them. Unlike Kilana, the male Hyena there didn't bother her much...
