Karina shuffled through the woods, rooting her nose through the amber and flaxen leaves, listening to the satisfying crunch under her feet. She had wandered off from Loaghaire for a little while, as pups are prone to do.
Spotting a small pile of leaves against a tree, apparently swept there from the wind, she bolted at it, and jumped in, burrowing to the bottom, playfully. To Karina, this was high-quality entertainment indeed. However, not long into her escapade, she felt something stinging at her nose. Surfacing, Karina looked down her muzzle, attempting to go cross-eyed to see what, precisely, was attached to her nose. After swinging her head around a few minutes, she was able to see it was a... millipede?
"Nooooo!" She whimpered at it. "Gerrof! You hurt!" Jerking her head around, she saw, with some satisfaction, that the little bug was being whipped around, still clamped on to her nose. Karina stumbled out of the pile, and batted at her muzzle, to rid herself of it.
"Stobbit!" Karina cried. A few whacks later, and the bug was slithering away through the leaves, leaving Karina to nurse her wound, and her pride.

The young male had wandered away from Stray for a bit, he wanted a little excitment of his own, playful stuff adn things. He was still a pup at heart, maybe he always would be, no one would really know, he was strange, like his father.
He had boundless amount of energy adn was happy to trot here and there, maybe bark up a tree, he was strange but energetic. He had far too much energy!
As he was bounding about he heards someones voice. Looking around he sniffed a little before trotting in the direction of the voice.

Karina whimpered, hunched on the ground, trying to see the small pin-p***k of blood that had begun to form on her nose. "Mean ol' bug." She muttered in distaste.
Shaking her head, she heard the tell-tale crackle of footprints on the dry leaf covering of the ground. She looked up. "Hello...? Hello...?" Karina trodded towards the sound of the footprints in curiousity.

Chip didn't hear her, as his eyes saw her he stopped and raised his maw to the air and let out a long howl. He wasn't calling anyone or anything, just showing off. He was far to playful to think of actually calling anyone!
Once his howel had finished he looked at her, tounge hanging from his mouth and his head tilted slightly making him look rather funny and stupid.

Karina startled at the sound of the newcomer's howl, and instinctively turned to run, before she realized that the howl was not, as she had first thought, one to rally the troops, or, any other wolves, for that matter.
Staring slightly, she plopped down on the ground in a sitting position and scratched her ear before glancing back up at his expression. She giggled. "You're funny."

He gave out a small bark in reply before he even thought about talking, he was indeed funny. "I am Chip, who are you?" He never gave his full name, he might not be right in the head but he did get a little annoyed with the name his father had given him, Chipmunk, what kind of name was that?

Karina stood up and circled him, bounding around him. "Hiya, Chip!" She said in reply. "My name's Karina!" She skidded to a halt, sending leaves flying all over the place and falling flat on her face, having the grace and traction of an ice-skating elephant. Standing up, Karina shot Chip an embarassed look. "Sorry." She shook the leaves off of herself. "What is it that you are up to?" She asked, slipping back into her normal subjective tense.

"Hey!" He barked happily, his tail wagging behind him. "I am just wandering, running, howling the usual fun stuff!" He tilted his head the opposite way now, his tongue still hanging from his mouth. He was a very strange wolf.

Karina giggled. "You sure are weird." She commented. Sitting down and tilting her head slightly in one direction, she gave him a scrutinizing gaze. "Where're your parents?" She asked, curiously. Although she, herself, was currently pretty parentless, she still thought it odd to see other wolves without theirs, having been raised for the short time she was alive in a few tight-nit group, where the children rarely left the pack. This was probably the reason that disease had spread so quickly through the over-crowded group.

"My parents are back with their pack. Mother said that I should join Strays pack because it means I can use more of my energy up!" He smiled acting all proud. He was after all the son of two alphas.
"What about yours?" He was curious, she had brought the subject up and he wanted to know what she had done with her parents.

Karina nodded. "Well... that makes sense! That was a pretty good idea." She answered, grinning.
"Oh? My parents? I ate them." Karina grinned wider, exposing two rows of shiny baby teeth. Snorting, she continued. "Well... not really. See, my parents and my sister and brother were part of a pack a long ways away, but they all got real sick and told me they wanted to take a little nap, one by one." She frowned. "They all took really, really long naps. After a few days, I got tired of waiting for them, so I wandered off. Not to mention I was hungry." She shrugged. "I miss them, and I wonder if they woke up yet, but I like it here, so I don't think I'll be going back."

Chip listened and even through his stupid look he had his mothers heart and understanding. As she spoke he could tell they had died but he wouldn't tell the female that. She was young.
"Well I am sure we can find some where for you to stay! You could go to my mothers pack or the one im in! We will look after you!" He smiled slightly, he had made a new friend!

Karina shook her head. "Thanks for the offer, Chip, but... I kinda like it on my own. Laoghaire's sort of watching after me, but she tends to disappear sometimes. Well, she's around often enough to get me something to eat; daddy was too busy caring for mom to teach me how to hunt properly, but I'm learning. Mmm... lemme think it over for a while?" She was clearly tempted, but hesitated. "Lemme think about it for a while." She repeated.
Karina bounded around Chip playfully. She was glad to have found a friend at least a little bit closer to her own age. Skidding to a stop, she looked at him. "Wanna play?" She asked.

He wagged his tail and smiled, "Yeah I wanna play!"
He let out a playful snarl and watched the youngster constantly. He was a good hunter and could predict well with prey, could he with a pup though?

Karina yipped and darted at Chip, making for his ear. She jumped up, about to triumphantly grab it when she realized she wasn't quite tall enough to do so. Falling back on the ground, empty-handed (or... empty-mouthed, really), she jumped back and growled playfully at him.
