Name: Carver Johnston

Meaning: Carver from English 'wood carver'; Johnston English corruption 'John's town'.

Age: 36

Appearance: Tall, rangy, with hair the colour of milky tea - Carver is long-boned with hard, old muscles, looking as though he's been around the block a couple of times. He has a fairly brown complexion, due to having been around out in the sun a lot, and oddly elegant features except for a nose that has most definitely been broken in the past. There are a couple of lines around his face, making him look a bit serious and grave, and he keeps his hair absent-mindedly in a shaggy cut to his shoulders that he pulls back in a hair-tie. His fashion sense is somewhere in-between 'schoolteacher' and 'accountant', despite the fact that he has a piercing in his eyebrow and two in his left ear, which give him the look of an ageing punk. Thankfully, he also has a penchant for cable-knit sweaters and jeans, so at least some of the time he doesn't look like your really boring uncle. He has heavy-lidded green eyes, and generally an expression of Did I Leave The Tap Running?.

Personality: Carver is, quite simply, a nice guy. He has the tendency towards being a little a**l and fussy, but this is mainly out of some misplaced sense of responsibility to the world and everything around him - Carver was born with a World's Hero complex, not so much the ego as the urge to make everything right. He is a dignified, humble, retiring man, a little self-effacing, but age has made him able to laugh at himself. He is decent, a little too upstanding, and is kind of like the lovechild of a medieval knight and a perpetual worrywart. He is just decent, trying to do the right thing even while he's patently screwing up at it.

Hobbies: attempting to quit smoking, fishing, reading novels, listening to classical music, cooking very very very badly

Please don't steal my stuff. I know where you live. I know where your dog lives. I know where your mother lives and we regularly go out for companionable cups of coffee. Then I make out with her. How's them apples. And now that I think about it, why would you want my stuff anyway?

You may be mad, you may be blind, you may be viciously unkind, but use your common sense in here and all will be well. Really, the only rule of this journal is: come in with an IQ!

All of the Am­es - as seen in Elinn's Souls section - have been given labels: they are designated by firework effects. I am a deeply, heinously sad person, so I actually sat down and thought about which went where for a long time, so there is some kind of deranged thought behind each label. It's mainly chosen for the visual label, because I am a budding pyromaniac and like associating things with boom-boom lights.
