I'm not wiccan, but I'm getting interested into it. It's hard to understand what is wiccan and what isn't. I had a friend who was wiccan, and she told me that alot of stuff was fake (not her exact words, I can't really remember what she said was fake, my memory is really bad). And since I am totally oblivious as to what's real, I was wonder what your insight on wicca is. What have you seen? What have you done? What has worked for you? I'm curious. I'm the type of person that has to see it to believe it, but I'm open for anything. I really would like to hear what anybody has to say.
(sorry if any of this is confusing, my mind is really scattered sometimes,. I'm not very good at explaining things.)

Well some people believe that magick is fake but thats up to them to believe. However, since Wicca is a religion there is far more involved. (OK here comes bible and Wicca in one muhaha) If you were to look at Wicca through the eyes of Christianity/Catholocism (sp?) then you would see how they took the idea of the God and Goddess and made them into one being. According to the book of Genisis, man was created in God's image. Well, since the Goddess gave birth to the God then it makes sense that Adam would have been born on Earth from it. Well, the God did not want Adam to be lonely so he created Eve from him and shaped her after the image of the Goddess. That would be how we get MAN and woMAN....^.^ See I love doing things like this.

The best thing that works for me to receive messages that the God and Goddess wish me to see is meditating and through asking them for visions in my dreams.

I think everyone has their own definition of wicca...
I'm just glad I discovered it for myself at some stage.
It's just made such an amazing change to my life that I can't imagine living without what I have in it.
Having your powers taken away, or not being able to use them for some reason would be like torture.... *shivers*
