I'd like to get Toby a green punk fur wig. Actually, I was gonna get this for him when I bought him.
My only drawback was that Mimiwoo stated that it may fall appart (or something like that). But seeing that a few of this guild's dolls do have fur wigs, I think. (I'm thinking of Leo's wig).
Do you think it would fall appart or is it a good buy? Here's the link:

For that price I'd go for it.
Every single wig I've had, fur or not sheds. So long as you don't mess with it CONSTANTLY it should be ok. And if not, its not that much money.

All right, I think I'll go for it. I still have some money left over from my trip to NYC.
I really wish volks would make more male clothes for 1/6 dollfies. I love Toby so much, but I cant help but feel a little dissappointed about how little they have available for them.

Fur wigs don't really "fall appart".
They more or less shed.
If you take good care of the wig though, you shouldn't have any problems. It's not very expensive either, so if all else fails, I guess you could get another...

And omg I am so going to get a fur wig from Mimi for Lilith. heart

And it's true, every doll wig sheds. Every HUMAN wig will shed. As long ad you don't run a brush through it it should be okay.

I wonder how I'll get it to stay on his head. It says it has no elastic...

Velcro will keep the wig in his head, or a fitted rubberband. Wigs don't fallapart unless poorly made. Even then, it's unlikely. My Costa has a crappy pink fur wig that I made and it hasn't died yet. It should be fine.

Velcro? Like put half on his head and the other half in the wig? That sounds like a good idea...

A tip for avoiding a lot of shedding for fur wigs; put them in the freezer over night or for a few nights. Don't ask me why but I used to do it with my stuffed animals to stop them shedding and I found it worked for my fur wig too.
It'll still shed a little when you brush it roughly but for everyday styling I've had no shedding trouble at all.

Velcro is a shitty idea if you ask me. It makes the wig buldge in odd areas and it doesn't work very well. The wig tends to take the velcro off with it.

Oo, scratch the velcro idea. xp I hadn't even thought about the wig buldging.
