If you were a really awesome guitarist and got a deal with a company, how would you design your guitar? Personally, I'd go with Gibson, an SG. I'm not sure what color, but I'd get my awesome friend to design the fret inlays (read: awesome artistic friend) and I would have three humbuckers. EMG 81 and 85 are a must...for the third one, another 81? I'm not sure. But it would have the strap holder thingies in different places, since the SG strap holders make it top heavy. And a whammy bar.

I'd probably go with a V body styling, but make it more gothic looking, like the B.C Rich V's. Have EMG 81 and 85 and a baritone neck. Matte black color.

I'd have a red white and blue custom 12 string warlock with double humbuckings, with an eagle pickguard.

Katikal I'd have a red white and blue custom 12 string warlock with double humbuckings, with an eagle pickguard. 12 string like 12 string acoustic style or twelve regular strings? And do you know how wide that neck would be? (I've seen a few with like 14 strings, and a PRS with 11 strings)

I know I'm probably gonna get a lot of verbal for saying this, but I'd probably design one with a body that looked like something else - like a dragon, or angel wings, or something. I saw this GORGEOUS bass at The London Guitar Show who'se body was shaped like a golden eagle, tallons out-setreched. I dunno what parts it'd have - pick-ups etc - cause I don't know enough about the technical side of things. I'd just do the woodwork smile

TrbledSol666 Those guitars look awesome! Do you have any idea how much it costs? Well, both of those are custom designs, not exactly sure who made the sky guitars (he has 2, Yngwie also has a replica of one) but I'm sure it would set you back quite a bit, hehe. I would probably go with some EMG's or maybe a Seymour Duncan full shred in there or something. Of course, a floating trem as well.

I can't find a pic of it online, I've only seen it once in a Q-mag. There's something like a 14-year waiting list for them. EDIT: That's why I couldn't find a pic of it - I got the name wrong. esp Devil Girl http://www.guitarhangar.com/guitars/images/esp_devilgirla.jpgEDIT: What are esp's like as instruments? Following brief research into them, I have reached the conclusion that they are drop-dead gorgeous (if yer into that kind of thing)

The Mythical Sky Guitars were designed by Uli Jon Roth and hand built by some greek luthier who lives in England, I don't remember his name...
