Nightshade Fields
The fields are always peaceful and, for some reason, it is always night. No preaditors exist on this grassy expanse of land. This is a great plast to take a nap or for babies to roam around under thier owner's watchful eye. Sometimes a Poison or a Dardness Drake will enter the fields, but fear not; they only come to play, not fight. The rival Drakes that come in here are usally children and have no desire to fight yet. Though occasinally a hostile will show it's face...

Draco made his way across Nightshade Fields, holding a slumbering Linath to his chest. While Alma was busy with a few duties that she had, he had convinced her to let him go off with Linath for a bit of time alone, perhaps to play together. And, since she had fallen asleep in his arms on the way here, it seemed as if it was Draco-time. He sank down into the grass and placed the green-skinned girl on the soft ground, still a bit curious over the strange shade of her flesh. 'Do others look like her?' he mused, but then remembered that he had gotten a brief glimpse of a blue-skinned boy with the girl that had been playing with Linath the other day.
The child turned his eyes up to stare at the stars, though he placed a protective hand on Linath's arm. And he merely thought to himself about the events that had occured over the past day or so.

Broken came with her crew, mainly, Harry, Alexandra, and Bastien. She felt that they were old and strong enough to take care of themselves, so she decided to leave them there on their own for a change. After all, they were two children strong, and one the victor of two battles. If they had to, they could try and join forces against an adult Drake, though she wasn't sure if the unspoken rules of battle would allow that to happen. Still, she felt safe enough; after all, it was Nightshadow fields.
Harry couldn't explain it, but he still didn't feel like talking to anyone. He was being quite the loner at the moment, and not much was going on anyway. Alex seemed smitten with Bastien, the cute little baby, so he let them be, wandering off on his own a bit, though still keeping a close eye on them. He found a nice rock that would make his seat. The wind brought him the scent of two other Drakes, one of which, his tail noted, belonged to Draco. He hoped there wouldn't be a conflict, but realized that he couldn't dodge this fellow Drake forever.
Alex was watching Bastien, a smile on her face. She loved watching him play; it made her remember her days as a baby. She did have to keep a constant watch to make sure that he didn't shove worms in his mouth (a disgusting hobby that had become a favorite past time of his), but otherwise, he was pretty cool, err, make that cold.
It wasn't long before the winds changed and brought her the smell of two other Drakes; Draco and Linath. She had caught lightning bugs with Linath before, so she decided to take Bastien to go see her, reguardless of Draco's status with Harry; she wasn't Harry, and if he tried to take anything out on her or Bastien, she was sure that Harry wouldn't be long in coming over to resolve things. He was the fighter out of the two of them, not her.

Draco, hearing the soft steps of someone, glanced over his shoulder to see the girl Linath had played with earlier. He resisted the urge to glare at her, and merely looked down at Linath. He gently shook her arm, and it wasn't long before she yawned and awoke. She blinked her wide eyes a few times before she looked up and saw Alex coming over, and smiled brightly. She gave the older girl a wave before she looked curiously at the baby in her arms. Draco, meanwhile, leaned back in the grass and slipped his arms behind his neck while he gazed up at the flickering stars once more. Still musing. Still brooding.

Mika walked into the fields,and noticed some other Drakes.
She glanced quickly,and tried not to be noticed,but her stare stuck on Draco.
She shook her head,and pulled out some grass to nibble on.

((*glances at Mika's Journal* Looks like someone has a crush on Draco! Don't be worried if she doesn't reply; she's on Hiatus 'till the 25th))
Alex smiled a thank you at Draco for waking Linath and was glad to have her old firefly-catching buddy back. Seeing her gaze, she explained the baby in her arms.
Oh, this is Bastien. He's an ice drake. I can't wait for him to grow up; he sure is heavy to carry! she said, hoisting him up on her hip again.
Harry was comforted by the fact that Draco didn't march right up to him and demand another battle. Had everyone forgiven him? Had he just taken too long to forgive himself? Well, it wasn't a problem anymore, he supposed. Everything was going just nicely. He even decided to take up Draco's sudden habit of stargazing, though he had to be careful not to singe the grass under him.

who was stargazing.
Mika found it a good idea,and plucked out a big tuft of grass
and lied down.

And Adele's post will come momentarily. I'm waiting to see if she grew or not. sweatdrop Evil dial-up takes things so long to load...))
Linath smiled a bit, looking at Bastian. "I'll bet you're pleased to have him grown, then." she said, brushing a bit of green hair out of her face before she glanced over at Draco. She had worried about him lately. He was always quiet. Brooding. As if he had never gotten over that battle. Now, the silver-eyed boy was gazing up at the stars, tracing them with an intense gaze. "You alright, Draco?" she asked softly.
The lad looked over at his younger sister and nodded a bit too quickly. "Of course I am. Why wouldn't I be?" Draco asked before noticing a girl sitting not too far away who was scanning the stars. Deciding that the easiest way to get away from Linath's questions was to simply get away from her, he stood, brushed himself off, and walked over to the girl. He looked down at her. "Mind if I sit here?" he asked, his face rather emotionless at the moment.

A rather lovely young girl stood a fair distance away from her family, gazing up at the sky as well. She dashed her hair out of her face before she shifted to scan the fields before her. Who should I talk to today...? Adele mused to herself before spotting Harry. She knew Draco wasn't the biggest fan of him, and even Linath was a bit closed off about him, but he seemed nice. Harry it is. She made her way over to him and looked down at him with a smile. "Hi." she simply said, tilting her head a little to the right.

Harry looked up, a bit startled at the appearance of this . . . good God she was beautiful. He rose to his feet, trying to be courteous.
Um, hey was all he could think of to say at first. After a moment . . . I haven't seen you around too much . . . you still rather new? he asked, feeling lame and all worked up before he even finished the sentence.
Alex stood next to Bastien, postively beaming. Yes, she was glad to have him all growing up. She smiled at him, her fondness of him apparent. He smiled back before looking over to Linath, not wanting to be rude.
It is rather an abrupt change; going from no speech and little movement and then, wow, you wake up the next day and you can walk, talk, and do whatever you want he said, unaware that, as he shifted his feet, the grass under them became edged beautifully with ice.
Tornando was a bit away from everyone else, rather on his own at the moment. He couldn't stop thinking about her. She was so beautiful and innocent, not tough like Alex tried to be. She wasn't afraid to be . . . well . . . herself. He couldn't help but smile every time he said her name: Galena . . .

Linath chuckled a little, nodding. "You're telling me. It seems like I was out here a baby, and suddenly I'm, well..." she extended her arms to the side with a little shrug, and if saying 'This is me now.' The girl then glanced down at the blades of grass, her eyes widening softly. She reached out to them, lightly running a fingertip over the top and watching the ice crystals fall to the ground. "It's beautiful." she said softly, looking up at Bastian with another grin. Suddenly remembering what manners Alma had taught to her, she rose to her feet. "I'm Linath, by the way."
Adele smiled brightly and nodded, lightly playing with a lock of her hair. "Yes, I am. I don't believe I've been out since I grew up." she said with a little giggle, soft thunder crackling far away. She seemed to take no notice, though, and extended a hand to the boy. "I'm Adele. You must be the famous Harry Potter." Indeed, the lad had built up a name for himself, if only around her own family.

Well hi there everyone, I see you've all found each other ok. Said Naara coming into view with Profet striding behind. He gazed upon Adele a bit before shakeing his head lightly as if to scare a fly. Grinning sheepishly he sat down in the grass with the children. Being the only adlut there he seemed a good deal bigger then the others.
Skalis (child now) walked to Naara and snuggled against him. The cobwebs in his hair moved in the slight breeze. He looked at Bastien, Tornando and Harry as they pratically fell over themselves about the thunder female. He himself got up and went to where she was greeting Harry and bowed. Hello there Adele. My name is Skalis. Your quite pretty you know, in fact you seem to have the attention of every boy in the field but one. He said. His voice sounded dry, dead, and cold.

Adele glanced over at the one talking to her, and smiled kindly as she lightly tilted her head to the right. "Oh, umm...thank you." she said, her cheeks flushing a little. This child seemed a bit strange, but she remembered that Alma had told her to be kind to all. "And what boy are you speaking of?" she inquired, a bit curious.

Harry merely stared at Skalis. She had approached him, not the other way around. He decided to calm himself down and make a try at things, ignoring Skalis for a moment.
It's nice to meet you, Adele he started off, not sure if her brother and sister were influencing her opinion of him, but deciding to plow right ahead anyway. Skalis is right, you do seem to have the attention of a few males, but you must excuse my brothers; they already seem to have females in mind. But, he is wrong on one account; you are not pretty; you're beautiful he said, the last part with a good deal of tenderness, his voice soft and warm. With those words, he laid back, propping himself up on his elbows, taking things very casually.
