We need to keep in mind the fact that the Chinese New Year falls anytime between the middle of January and the middle of February. For example, I was born in 1980, but in the middle of January. That year, the year changed in February (which it usually does), so I am technically the year of the sheep. Here is a good page to look up if you were born in Jan/Feb to determine your year: http://www.rainfall.com/horoscop/chinese.htm

I'm a snake, as is my closest first cousin (12 years my younger) and is Jade! (24 years my younger) We're all wise. wink
Jason was born in the year of the Tiger (74) but is really an Ox like my mom because he was early January.

I am a rooster. But I really don't think of myself as one of them. None of the qualities fit me!
Edit: And then I read the first couple lines of the place posted prevouisly in this thread and I take back the whole thing....I am a Rooster and Darn proud of it!

Hummm, I've never read that much about zodiacs before! Usually it says one or two things, but this goes all out!
Some of it's true, and some of it isn't. Successful politician? Only in jelly's simworld! xd

Ebil, I fit right in with the sheep description too. My girl's a sheep too--it makes for interstig times to say the least.

Well, I've never looked up the meaning of being a Rabbit till just now, and I must admit I'm surprised. I'm a Rabbit, and according to the brief description I found, it's pretty true of me.
My son, since he was born in 2000, is a Dragon, and that description suits him very well too (so far as you can tell with a four year old, lol!) I think it's neat that he got to be a GOLDEN Dragon. smile
HOWEVER, my hubby is supposed to be a Rat, and that does NOT suit him at all, not one bit. ::chuckles::
