Okay, well the concert I went to was on Moday 30th January 2005 at the Point in Dublin, and I got there at half nine in the morning, with my friends Felicity, Kyle, Ab, Suniva and Keith. We waited until one and then we got our super cool pit passes (Which I am still wearing. I laminated it with cellotape! ^^) and then we thought "Okay, we can leave for Subways now!" But we couldn't because the Point had this rule or something, it was to do with responsibilty or something. So we decided to go with the crowd and order pizza! It was a misreable day and it we weren't allowed sit down for health and safety reasons (?!) so we were all really tired.
Then the tour buses came. Everyone went mental and started screaming for Green Day, but it's not like they'd come out, I mean they'd be mobbed...
Ab and I were talking as we looked out at the Point at about three, and then we saw someone come out from behind the Point, towards the tour buses.
He was short.
He had black hair.
He was wearing black.
We weren't sure if it WAS actually Billie Joe, so we looked at his shoes (That is now an in-joke for me and ALL of my friends. "Look at the SHOOOOOOES!!!"Heh.). It was Billie Joe!! We were silent as we stared at him. he disappeared into one of the tour buses. We still stared. He got out of the tour bus with a guitar, and looked at us all. I couldn't tell pro[erly because I didn't have my glasses on, but he looked confused at the amount of people who were there so early... We couldn't scream "Billie!!" because we'd start a riot though....
Then, half an hour before we were supposed to get in, I lost my ticket. I told Keith and he said "Okay, I'll do a knacker and steal you a ticket!" but because he was being so nice, I started crying, Then everyone who I played i spy with came up and started trying to make a search party to get my ticket back.... Twas so nice! Well, I got in by crying again, and Keith explaining/screaming to the guards that I had to get in, and that I have a pit pass and stuff. Ah, emo.. Gets you far!
We were expecting Sugarcult (<3) to play but it turned out to be New Found Glory, and by then it was me, Suniva and Keith, and Keith LOATHES NFG so we dodn't watch them. But we got bored. They were pretty crap, but the bassist did throw me his plec, and I almost got it, but a knacker stole it off me.
(ack, it's going to be so long!!) So, the Clash was played by a CD, and then the Bunny came out to "Blitzkreig Bop" and he downed a Guiness. THEN Green Day came out to the music they came out to on all of the A.I tours. I can't remember the name of it though....
They were all wearing their clothes that they normally wear, and I THINK Tre was a priest... I was so close to Mike though! It was so cool!! When they came out I just froze, cause the only other celebrity I was that close to was Michael Palin (Monty Python) and that was on a plane!
Okay! The songs they played are as follows in as close to order as I could remember...

Em, I don't know what else to say... Billie Joe kept slagging George Bush, and introducing the rest of the band and stuff, and Mike waved at me... Em, Oh! My friend got Tre's (drum)stick!! It was really cool, and we danced around it afterwards cause we were so hyper...
Yep.

My friend's mom knows that I'm absolutely love Green Day and then she's gonna try to score us some tickets and she told me that the price range was between 25-40 dollars! Well if I ever go then I'll post again and tell you ppls what happened

Green Day Concert, Sunday, December 5, 2004, Mexico City
It was Saturday, and I picked my best friend, Valeria so she could sleep over at my house and we could spend some time talking about stuff, and doing BF stuff, it was awesome, all the time we talked about Green Day, Green Day and more Green Day, So we stayed not that late that nite, so we could get enough rest for Sunday.
Sunday Morning:
It was around 10 am that Valeria and I woke up, then we had breakfast, we ate something simple, but still it was good, so then we went to arrange my room cause it was a disaster, and then I talked with a friend, Diana, to plan where we should meet so we could go together to the Sports Palace. Then we cleaned ourselves, got ready and I choose a really cute outfit for one of the best days of my life, a black Element ringer, jeans, studded belt, my Game Over wristband, and comic Converse sneakers. It was around 1:30 pm, when Valeria and me decided that we should do a big sign for the concert, it was a manga drawing with Billie, Mike and Tr鬠it was awesome! so, we came down to the kitchen and had something to eat, my dad made us soup, meat and I don't remember what else...It was around 2:30 when my dad told us, hey let's leave now, When we left, I took my photo camera, but the camera didn't have roll, so I went to the market near my house and got Roll for the camera. I put it but it wasn't working, I needed batteries! well.... we left the area where I live.
It was around 3:00, and my dad took us to the Burger King that is in Lomas Verdes Skating Rink (that's where I spent almost all my life) where we met with Diana and Ricardo, so we went out of the car and there they were, so we made some kind of caravan so Diana and her dad, and Ricardo and his family could follow my Dad's car. We went through a lot of circuits ( my dad really knows pretty well Mexico City ) and also the Sports Palace is pretty far frow where we live. WE were almost getting to the Sports Palace, when I told my dad to stop at Sanborn's (it's some kind of shop where you buy presents and a lot of stuff) and I got a package of batterys for my camera. So we kept going, 5 minutes later we were in the sports palace and it was around 4:00 pm. My dad and Diana's dad left. We were only remaining Valeria, Diana, Ricardo, Ricardo's parents and her sister and me. People who was instaling slots where they use to sell things, so we saw the shirts, and concert souvenirs, we didn't got anything, so we kept walking until find the way to the main entrance, so we could go to the row and wait there.
We got to the main entrance and we waited there, we started to talk about anything we wanted and we sang the most Green Day songs we knew, still we got waiting, and we found some school friends, and I also found Loomitz (he is someone who I know from Gaia and other forums, and he's one of the biggest Green Day fans I know) , and it was a huge surprise, because it was the first moment that we met on real life. So we talked a lot, and the row started to advance, when the row almost came where we went, I already knew that cameras were forbidden, so Diana helped me to hide my camera (you don't want to know where, but iI walked in a pretty silly way) we got to the main entrance and they gave us some souvenirs from mexican radio stations, so they separed us in different rows, (depending where you were going to enter) and we got there, and it was the classic inspection, and I got really nervous about the camera, but the guards didn't detect it ^^, but the guards quit to Valeria and I, our Green Day sign, they throwed it to the trash!!! BITCHES!
It was around 6pm, and we got through a lot of doors to get into the floor (the Sports Palace is a huge place), and we went to the floor, we were almost the first to enter, so we were really near the stage. Diana, Valeria and I went to the bathroom, just for prevention, and then we went again to the floor, and we waited, and lots of people came, we were getting bored, and it was so hot in there, that we had to buy several bottles of water, and then we started to throw the bottles to people, it was fun xDD.
8:15 pm, New Found Glory came to the stage and everybody started screaming, and we told to each other, don't worry, we will try to stay together, and NFG started performing when everybody started to mosh, and as soon as 10 seconds, we were all on different places and we didn't saw each other. I liked the NFG performance, it was good, and people really enjoyed, and sang (I just know 3 or 4 songs, so I made an effort), then I got tired and I started to talk with a girl, she was awesome!, but then we got lost again, NFG finished performing and everybody stopped , and got rest. Where I stayed, there was a lot of people, and then one guy came and started to offer everybody pot, tought almost all of the people who were there accepted, I didn't, but almost all the smoke came to me.
8:45pm
Molotov, a mexican punk rock band started performing, and the mosh pit was REALLY AGRESSIVE, That's where I got almost all the punches I got in the night, and everybody knew almost all their songs, and those guys are really rude, and they played around 45 minutes. When they finished performing they got half aplausses and half booos (not everybody likes them), and I was suffocating, so I went outside the mosh pit and took rest for a while, I asked for a Coke to the vendor, and I drank it the fastest, and they put music so we couldn't get bored, so I sat and I started talking to the people who were near me (those guys were really hot xDD), and we talked about how much we loved Green Day, about their other bands, Operation Ivy and stuff like that, I was happy, and then in the sound it started playing a lot of awesome songs, I remember that I started screaming I fought the law, God save the queen, and then... Blitzrieg Bop, I closed my eyes, and then THERE IT WAS! THE DRUNK BUNNY! It drank a Corona Beer!!! and he started to make us to follow his moves! and yes, we screamed a lot of Hey Ho! but then, lights went out and, it tried to get to the closest space to the stage, but I tried, I was near, and I saw how Billie and Jason got into the stage.
9:45pm
and it started American Idiot, and everybody started to sing and mosh, but I was in shock, I couldn't beleive it, so I started to sing/scream/cry, I didn't know what I was doing, I was in shock. and they finished AI, and Jesus of Suburbia started, that's when my mom called me to the phone, and I told her : Mom, I cannot give the credit of what my eyes are looking, it's like a dream come true, and stuff like that, my mom got happy and she told me, ok later you tell me) and songs kept playing, I sang ALL the songs, all of them, all of them I knew it also, I tried to stay one place, and then I started to get closer and closer to the stage, until the moment that i was about two meters from the stage. Songs kept playing and I was the happiest girl in the world, some people punched me, but I got revenge and it was nice ^^. So by the time that Jaded finished, I went out the mosh to take a rest, and I found on of my friend's friend, and we talked about Green Day bootlegs, that guy was awesome!!! but then it Started King for a Day and I grabbed his hand and told him, hey, we can't stay here in that number, so we ran to the closest space to the stage and we started dancing, NOT MOSHING, DANCING, and then Billie said STOP!!!! and then everybody stoped, and kept silence....don't wanna make you shout!!! C'mon everybody...and It was like a neurosis attack, we started to sing the loudest!!!!, maybe those were one of the more awesome songs of the day, and then it came Knowledge, I raised my hand and started screaming, PICK ME ! PICK ME! I KNOW BLOODY KNOWLEDGE IN THREE COVER VERSIONS AND THE ORIGINAL!!!! but nope, the guy next to me got picked, and got his Billie kiss, and played OK. "Do you have the time, to listen to me whine...." and then I got in shock again, it was ******** Basket Case! I just felt how a tear came out from my eye, and started to sing the loudest I could with everybody, it was a lot of excitement, that was the best moment of the concert. Later it started Wake me up Before September Ends, and everybody got their lightners and phones in the air, and I started to cry again, it was a sad moment that one, they played Minority and that's when I called in the phone to my brother, just to show him his favourite Green Day song, and then Billie, Mike and Tre left the stage and lights went out, 5 minutes later they came back with other clothes ( Billie's shirt was the best thing ever!) and started to sing Maria, then it came BOBD and the tubes started to throw paper, and meanwhile that happened, I was the closest to the stage, and Billie got a lot of papers, most of them and then he threw them to the pit, and I got almost all those papers that Billie threw to the crowd, and I put them almost all of them in my pocket( I cryed also in that one) , and then We are the Champions and everybody got again their lightners and phones out and Good Riddance, lights went out, and then there he was, just 5 yards away from me, with his Gibson guitar, singing, I started to cry again, and as soon as I realized, it was over. I aplaussed and shouted the loudest, and everybody started to leave the floor, and there still was a lot of Green Day papers, so I started to pick them, and I found Loomitz again, and we told to each others, IT WAS THE BEST THING EVER! and we took some photos, and I found again Valeria, Ricardo and Diana, it was around 11:30. So we went out of the building and then we started to buy souvenirs and stuff like that in the slots, so i got 2 Green Day t-shirts, one Trucker hat, a little cup, and a huge Green Day poster.
Diana and Ricardo's parents were outside waiting for them, and they left, so Valeria and Me went to search my dad, and he was on the other side of the Sports Palace, so around 12am we found him... We got inside the car, and we couldn't even breath......so we took Valeria to her house, and then 30 minutes later, I came into my house, covered in sweat and punchs, talked to my mom about how awesome was the concert and I went to sleep, Leaving in my mind one of the happiest memories I have.

well in two weeks im going 2 the green day concert in binghampton!!! i cant wait!!

I'm going to their show on May 20th at the Saddledome! So firggin excited, I've been counting down the days since I ordered my tickets (floor). It will be me and meh good friend Steph, while all my other friends are on the balcony! HA!

I'm going on May 15th! Omaha, Nebraska. The Qwest Center. The best day of my life. Okay it hasn't happened yet, but I know it will be. Just you wait. I don't care if I die the day afterwards. I will die in peace. Okay that sounds retarded. But that is how much Green Day means to me.
