Aruna was walking toward her mother's teepee today, wanting to meet up with her mother and possibly her sister if she could. She also wanted to play with her older brother, Swafi, but she hadn't seen him in a long while, and so, she decided to go and meet her other family, an adopted friend named Bliss.
She had heard he was very nice and friendly, if a bit... ignorant. She smiled at the thought of meeting him. It would prove to be very interesting indeed. Bliss needed to meet her father, too, so they could all get together and be a happy family.

Bliss paced about near his 'teepee' after having a short meeting with Mahiri. It was very rare to find the dark stallion anywhere near his 'home' but he came there whenever he wished to speak with the fox mare. She and her human had found him one day, taken him in and adopted him, even if he chose never to stay there, Bliss apprechiated it a lot.
The stallion wore a funny little grin as he thought about all the mares he had met so far. Chaleha, Astia, Firefly and of cource, Milkshake. They were all so very friendly, Bliss had yet to met someone who was rude to him. Making fun of his ignorance.
And he hoped never to run into a stallion, after he met Bairn. That male called him an idiot, and even though it was true, it broke Bliss's heart. Sighing, the dark male stopped pacing about and stared back at the teepee, wondering if he should just leave it. He didn't belong here, this wasn't his home.

As her mother's teepee came into view, she saw a dark stallion with both braided mane and tail. Automatically knowing who it was, she called out to him. "Bliss? Are you Bliss?"
She was still unsure how he would act when he saw her, but he hoped he was happy living with her family. If Bairn was mean to him, she would have a talk with her brother.
Hm, that would make the first sibling fight ever in her family. Wow.

Bliss jumped as soon as a voice came out of know where and he frantically looked around. Spotting a beautiful brown mare, he calmed down.
"Umm...." The stallion said softly, looking at himself with a confused look on his face. "Last time I checked I was. Why? Did something happen to Bliss?" He asked the mare with burning red cheeks. Her question made him wonder if he truly was Bliss.
Looking at her with his pretty purple eyes, he noticed that she looked similiar to someone. But who? Bliss stared at her, and then he saw it. She was brown, like Chaleha, but she was also brown like Bairn. She was beautiful, too.
"Who are you?"

Aruna chuckled. "Wow, you really are a sweetie," she said, smiling as she walked over to him. "I'm Aruna. And it's a pleasure to meet you, Bliss." She wondered why he acted that way. If he was ignorant, that was fine. "And you must be Bliss, if that was the last time you checked!" She couldn't help but feel happy with him. Not in a romantic way, but rather in a content way. He had that kind of aura around him.
"So, what're you up to Bliss?" She wanted to see what he would say before she herself told him anything.

"Umm..." Bliss grinned at her, in a childish way. She was nice too, just like all the other mares. It was such a relief to know that there wasn't any rude mare out there yet, unlike some stallions.
"Thanks. Aruna, it's a pleasure." The stallion watched as she approached him, admiring her mane, and everything about her. In a way, she was different then everyone he had met so far.
"Yea, I guess your right." He sighed, laughing at himself. It was best to laugh at his stupidity, at least, that is what Mahiri told him. "Thanks, again."
"Umm...just got done talking with this absolutely wonderful mare. She's sort of my adoptive mother...or guardian as she calls herself. Her name is Mahiri." Bliss nodded slowly, then quickly remembered something. "Are you THE Aruna?"

Aruna blinked. She despised making fun of others unless they deserved it (a.k.a. Rahu and/or Wyvern) and was a bit startled at Bliss's tone. "Um... Yes, I think? Last time I checked I was Aruna..." She said, a bit confusedly. "Why? What happened?" If she knew she was famous, she was being very modest. But of course, she wasn't at all. "Mahiri's my mother," she said, smiling. "That means you're my adopted brother, aren't you? Wow, I have three brothers now! Swafi, Bairn, and now you, Bliss!"
She grinned at him. "You're welcome, again. So my mother is that wonderful, is she? That's great. She gets on my nerves sometimes, though." Winking, Aruna flicked her tail happily as she observed Bliss. He was dark, like a lot of the stallions she met. She had to laugh; she met either really light colored or really dark colored stallions. It was almost ironic. Almost.

Bliss paused, and noticed that she was confused. Why was that? Did he make that happen? Oh he hoped he didn't, he would feel terrible if that was the case. "It's nothing. Just Mahiri talks about an Aruna all the time. And a Hania, and Artemis. Her family, I think." The stallion nodded slowly observing her.
"Alright, so I was right. You're the Aruna. I guess so...but I'd rather be your friend if thats alright. I don't know how to be apart of a 'family' especially one that involves stallions such as Bairn." He paused, and remembered that she had said that stallions name.
"Bairn is your brother? Why? Do you hate him as much as I do?"

"Hate him? Oh, no." Aruna smiled. "Well, okay, I only hate him when he's being overprotective, but that's all. And you? Why do you hate my brother so badly?" Her mother talked about them all the time, huh? That was nice. She didn't have anyone else she was living with like her mother did, so she didn't need to talk about family all that often.
Her father did that enough. "You can a friend then, if that's what you want, Bliss." Wow, he was kind of simple wasn't he? Oh well. Why did he hate Bairn so much? Did her brother do something terrible to him? Or was he just being mean? "Yes, Hania's my father, and Artemis is my sister." She twitched her ears, a habit she had gotten from her father.

Bliss listened to her word's, trying to sort out what the beautiful mare was saying. "You don't? Ah, I guess that's because he's your brother, right?" Mahiri told him about a lot of things in their family, so the stallion felt as though these soquili's were the only thing he wasn't ignorant about.
"When I first met Mahiri, he thought I was faking my stupidity to get your mother's attention. So he called me a fake, whatever that is. And then later on he walked up to me and called me retarted. I mean, he used that word...." Bliss trailed off, remembering that day perfectly. "I know it's true, but it just hurt..."
Bliss sighed, and shifted in his stance to make himself more comfortable. He didn't like talking about Bairn, especially in front of his sister. Although Mahiri told him basically everything after all their little chats, he didn't know these soquili's personally.
"I would like that, yes. So whenever I go out, I can ask others if they've seen Aruna, Astia, Leha or Milkshake. I like the sound of your family, too. From what Mahiri says, they're nice, except Bairn. She says he has problems dealing with 'life' issues or something, whatever that means."

Aruna rolled her eyes, a little angry. "I can't believe he said that to you! Bairn is usually a very nice stallion; I don't understand why he would say that to you!" Her brother would never do that, would he? If Bliss acted like this because he couldn't help it, then her brother need to thoroughly apologize to the poor stallion! "It's very hurtful, yes, I know, dearest Bliss," Aruna said, trying comfort him.
She wasn't used to doing so, but lately, she had gotten lots of practice. Thank you, Rahu. Again. Mentally rolling her eyes, she killed the thought that had Rahu in it, and nuzzled Bliss to reassure him. He looked like he needed someone to confide in. "If you have any problems, I'm always around somewhere, so you can call me or talk to me. My mother is there too; Artemis lives far away from us, but she comes to visit.
"And my father! He's very kind. I'm sure he'd love to meet you, and if you just want to have a stallions' talk only, you can go to him." She smiled. "This is what a friend is for, Bliss. I'm glad I'm your friend."

Bliss sighed, this mare made it seem like Bairn would only ever be mean to him, which made him feel even worse. If that stallion was just rude all around, it would be ok, but Bliss now knew that it was his stupidity.
"Don't worry about it." He tried to smile as Aruna comforted him, but ended up laughing instead. "Dearest Bliss? What's that?" His bright purple eyes looked straight into hers as she nuzzled him, and somehow he felt just as comfortable around her as he did Mahiri. She was kind, this mare. A good friend to have, Bliss thought to himself.
"Alright, I'll keep that in mind, Aruna, thanks. I cannot wait to meet Artemis, she sounds so beautiful. I hope, almost as beautiful as you." He grinned at her playfully, not knowing if that comment would make her uncomfortable or not.
"And about our father, I'm not sure. Mahiri makes him sound lovely, very different from Bairn. But that stallion ruined my thoughts of every other stallion." He nodded again, and then continued. "But if that's is what you want, I may perhaps run into him." Aruna's smile made him smile even bigger this time. "I'm glad too, Aruna."

"You're my friend, and even though you don't want it, you're my family, too, Bliss," Aruna said, a soft smile on her face. "Bairn is rude to a lot of different stallions I know, but I guess that's because he has issues." She rolled her eyes. "Dearest Bliss indeed." She winked at him, and then flushed a little when he complimented her beauty.
"Well, thank you, dear Bliss." She liked his eyes. They were interesting, and very clear. "I'm sorry my idiotic brother did that, but some of it is very true." Aruna's golden eyes sharpened to a nearly a menacingly glare. "Many of the stallions I've met aren't quite so nice. I caution you, Bliss." Her eyes softened, then, and she decided to tease him a little.
"So? I know my brother has issues with the topic, but what about you? Do you have a crush on anyone?" She grinned. It was always an interesting topic to talk about.

"Family." He said the word as if it was poison, hating the sound of it. Bliss didn't want to be apart of a family, and he just didn't know how. He had watched others prance around as a happy family, but he could never be apart of one of them himself. This particular family even seemed as happy as anyone could ever be, they didn't need him.
Hearing her next words, the stallion perked up a bit. "He is? What kind of issues? What stallions?" Bliss grinned to himself, that little piece of information helped, maybe he wasn't such an idiot afterall.
"Dearest Bliss. Well, I like that. I want to give you a nickname. Perhaps, um...Ru? Yea, I like that." He nodded slowly, hoping she would approve of it too. Bliss loved giving others nicknames that no one else called them, it made him feel more special.
"You're welcome, Ru." Bliss smiled widely, noticing that she had finally looked into his eyes. Ah, his eyes. He loved them more then he loved anything else in the whole world. They were what made him Bliss. Apart from the obvious stupidity.
"What part of it is true? You're brother is not idiotic, I'm the idiotic one. He's just...um...your mother called him something...um...unstable of something or whatever. Can't remember." He blushed, which was barely noticable by his dark coat. That was another thing he loved, his dark coat. Although the stallion was much more attracted to bright colors, his dark coat matched his eyes. Accoarding to Milkshake, at least.
"Thanks, Ru. I like that. But I tell you now, I probably won't be seeing any stallion's any time soon. Every time one comes into view, I hide." Bliss watched as her eyes softened, it made her look much prettier.
A crush? He pondered this one for a few moments as she spoke. What was a crush? Mahiri had told him something, but what? A friend or something. Well, of cource he had friends, so he nodded. "Yes, I do. I have a lot of crushes. They're all mares though, because I hate stallions."
Bliss thought about all the females he had met so far, and decided to talk about them. "There is Chaleha, I call her Leha. She's lovely, probably the prettiest of all the mare's I've met. She's funny too, and nice. Although she's very confusing and probably thinks I'm stupid."
He paused, and decided to leave a part out, "There is also Milkshake, my best friend. She's very pretty too, she has a white coat, with beautifully colored mane and tail. It's like the rainbow or something."
"And Firefly, she's the dark strange mare that I met shortly after Milkshake. She's the very confusing one, but she helps me with a lot of things I didn't understand."
The stallion didn't realize he was babbling on, and just continued. "Astia, she's a dark yellow mare. She's probably the nicest, I think. She's shy though, and doesn't understand things, but not the way I don't. I mean, she's smart, but somehow confused."
"And you of cource."Bliss grinned, and waited for her to respond.

"A lot of crushes indeed," Aruna said, smiling. "That's a lot of friends, Bliss. Me included! But do you know what I'm talking about? And don't call yourself stupid. You know, if you keep calling yourself that, you'll end up that way," She spoke with a concerned tone. "You can say you're smart, but not too much, because then some people will think you're trying to tell them you're better than them.
"Ru?" Aruna could only smile. She could the nickname was very special to him, so she didn't tell him that one other stallion had also given her a nickname, although the name was more or less spelt with an "e". Calamity had merely been teasing, but oh well. Bliss was such a sweetie she couldn't say no. And he was cute with his child-like innocent way. "Unstable?" Aruna frowned in worry. If that was how bad it was, she needed to have a talk with her brother. And not just about Bliss, either.
She could tell Bliss didn't want to a part of any family, so she didn't mention it again. "Bairn has issues all the time," she told him, grinning wickedly. "But I won't say what kind, because that's his business." She chuckled. "Stallions both he and I know, who're all either jerks or... well, jerks.
"And you do like that, don't you? I shall call you that from now on, dearest Bliss." She laughed good-naturedly. Bliss's eyes were probably the favorite part of him for her. They were clear and friendly, and looked sure of the world. She was trying her best to ignore Bliss's silly idiocy, most likely because she knew he never meant to be that way. "I know Chaleha and Astia, but I don't know the other mares.
"They all sound interesting, though. Astia's just as you say, and Chaleha? She's fun, though I think I caught her when she was feeling a little sleepy. But that's all right, I guess. I'm glad Firefly's helping you out," Aruna said, smiling softly at Bliss's grin. "And what about me?" She asked, curiosity in her tone.
