Koto Kurokumo, the city of black clouds. An entire section of metal plating and buildings built between buildings and over roads and squares. A vast collection or parks, small buildings and businesses, KK is a gathering place for the rich and well off. All the businesses there are daughter companies and side projects of various megacorps. Strongly influenced by Feng Shui, the KK area is known as a low stress and comfortable environment that many important people use as an inner city retreat. With everyone on low alert and security that is more physical than computerized, Koto is a safe-haven for political criminals and hackers on the run if they can get in.

The sun is sinking down between the grand buildings and trees of koto, and Calder is making his way across one of the central parks to meet with an informant that wishes the privacy you can only get right out in the open. On his way to the pre-destined bench, he spots a group of higher-ups of local businesses and mega corps doing their ritual Tai Chi at sunset. It brings up bad memories of his past life, of his family that paid for his sins, of friends that were punished in his place. Vacantly, he puts a soft fingertip to the bio-plastique eyes that have replaced the ones he used to own, the ones he was born with. One of three reminders that if your going to play god, you should be ready to pay for it.
Glad he has no tear ducts left to betray his blank face, Ranewater arrives at the park bench and turns to the other occupant.

The man appeared as a blur; his face, his hands, even the little bit of ankle that showed underneath his slacks were a constant blur of shifting skin tone and general shape. Calder was hoping that he would at least have an idea of who was giving him this information, but apparently there were too many eyes even in this secluded part of the city for even that."Here's the micro with all the info you need." The voice said, changing as frequently as the lips that let them go. "I will not be able to contact or help you any further, you must find what it all means on your own. You have the resources." And with that the man (woman?) convulsed as if being electrocuted. The steam that came off had a horribly acidic tang to it that burnt Calder's nose and irritated his skin. Before he could react, the being was still again, all joints hanging in skewed angles.
"To be able to hack an Anyman and release the ID prevention protocol without them being brain dead, what the ********." Calder mumbled to himself as he pocketed the small piece of plastic and metal, a microsoft that you could buy at any tech store for a few creds. "A book and it's cover . . ." He trailed off as he made sure that no one had noticed and tried to leave as mildly as possible.

Belle just misses Calder walk by a similar path, he was obscured by trees of all things. She catches a glance of an Anyman lying on a park bench, so obviously pretending to be a bum it almost angered her. As if there were bums and vagrants that had access to the Parks! What kind of retarded cop was this?
"Here we are!" She exclaims some 20 minutes later coming to the back of a simply built building with the letters C-Y-B-E-R-I-A in old fashion neon tubing that reeked of retro-cool. A glance at the side ally brings another ting of anger, how did Leocadia managed to get her car past security!? She herself, a professional driver and transporter, had no luck at all with the security gadget. But, it also meant that Ranewater was probably not there, unless he walked. Cade never let anyone, including the boss, ride in her car. And no one has the faintest idea why.
"Oh well, maybe something fun with happen anyways . . . but I'll be damned if I get stuck cleaning anything! The Daughter's have enough wanna-bes and b***h-bots for those kinda things anyways!" She assures herself as she pulls a key rod out of her jacket, something she hadn't done in a very long time. "Time to work." The last word hammered out of existance by the slamming of the large metal door and the loud thunk of the auto-lock.

((Continued from Club Cyberia))
Mark was the first of the Centaur squad to reach the lift towards the Spire. The rest of the squad was lagging far behind, Mark guessed most were new to piloting S.A.A.S Units. " Guys I'ma go scout ahead, I'll report back to ya'll soon, and hopefully you'll be at the Spire by then." he chuckled towards the end. Mark activated the lift and began his decent into Central.

*Angel walks into the quiet city. He takes a moment to obverve the slick and sleek shine of the buildings and streets. Looks like a good place to get some answers. He walks down the streets to find any source of hack points.*

"Hello?"
A sleepy sounding voice answered after the 10th ring. Phones were an annoyance, especially when they woke you up and he saw no reason to answer the phone in any particular hurry.

Phones were an annoyance, especially when they woke you up and he saw no reason to answer the phone in any particular hurry. ~Leadstorm had almost given up when he heard the other line pick up. "Sounds like I rose Chaos" He said, half chuckling at his own pun. I was told this number was attached to a 'runner that might be willing to take a job against a major corporation."

There was quite a bit of silence between Leadstorm's words and his reply, trying to place the caller. From the first joke, it was clear that this was someone who had either heard of his reputation, had been tracking him, or.. one of the guys from the nightclub the other night.
"That depends on who's authority you're acting"
He replied. He wasn't in the mood to deal with any authority JUST because someone had heard that this number would reach a runner.

He replied, letting his mental fatigue show a little in his voice.~
