.:. Amari .:. Name meaning: Anchor (due to marking on his nose.)
Age: Adult
Rank: Ex-Pridelander (aka Rogue) Mate: (originally Maawio)
Offspring: Mbari
Likes: Pretty females - old and young, the sunshine and sunbathing, picking fights with other males to show off his strength, protecting his honour and those of his friends. Showing off in general and dazzling women with his amazing smile.
Dislikes: Males who could prove to be a threat, foolishness and brats in general, being trapped, flies, talking to prey, water and being alone.
Weaknesses: Manipulated easily by pretty lionesses
Strengths: sticking up for friends.
Goal: to find where he belongs.
Markings: rusty/orange coloured fur which shines in the sunshine and bring sout a deep brown hue. His mane and tuft of his tail are a pale brown, almost orange in colour. His paws are also a pale colour and he has orange coloured markings on his shoulder and nose. He has deep hazel eyes and a dark brown nose.
Personality: At first glance Amari appears to be a rather selfish and arrogant male, paying little - if any - attention to males unless it be anger in a fight or some sort. He is constantly getting into scraps with them and has rather good fighting experience which helps get him through tough times. Yet if you look through that hard and stubborn exterior you will see a big softy just wanting a bit of attention and comfort.
He makes out that he likes to be alone when really he craves friendship and a place to call 'home' and even though he tends to flirt with lionesses he is not truly serious about settling in a relationship unless it be with the right girl.
He guards his friends fiercely, and would fight to the end to see that they stay safe, this is true to many if not all that meet him and wins his affections. A young lioness named Maawio is the latest lioness in his life to draw his attention.
Brief History:
Amari was the youngest cub of three sons, born to a rogue lioness in an unknown land (perhaps revealed later) he had to fight for his food and respect which has led to his behavioural patterns around males now. This constant fighting to survive and win respect finally drove Amari from the only home he knew, leaving his pride and home he now travels the world searching for a new haven and friends he can share his life with.

.:. Kucha .:. Name meaning: Dawn
Age: --
Rank: --
Mate: n/a
Offspring: n/a
Likes: Looking at her reflection in the water, making friends and travelling the world. She also likes to sunbathe and eat berries for most of the day when not talking and showing off her pretty feathers.
Dislikes: Being alone, being chased by maniac lions and other such large animals, seeing big vicious teeth and the rain.
Weaknesses: Falls for flattery easily.
Strengths: cheering up those who need it.
Goal: to find a mate and raise a family.
Markings: She has brilliant orange feathers with small pale striped on her wings and a peach coloured belly. Her beak is an even brighter orange and she has large hazel eyes.
Personality: Even if Kucha is a little vain she doesn't flaunt herself too much, she drops hints about her beauty without realising too, loving to talk about the grace of her feathers and their wonderful colour in the sun. She enjoys flattery a little too much, by all species but mainly the other avian and she takes great pride in her plumage, preening and bathing regularly.
Yet that is most likely Kucha's only flaw, as she is a brilliant and intelligent young bird with an incredible wisdom for her age. She has flown far and wide and can answer many questions concerning the matters of rain, friendship and love.
She has an incredible kindness, and hates to see others sad, making it her number one priority to cheer others up in an attempt to make the world a better place.
Brief History: Kucha was a young fledgling who learnt many things from her mother, one day though, her parents flew away and never returned, leaving her to face the wide world alone. Fearful but determined Kucha began her travels, putting all her lessons to use and meeting others to talk to.

.:. Kiburi .:. Name meaning: Pride
Age: Ado
Rank: Firekin Slave
Mate: n/a
Offspring: n/a
Family: Born to Bakhti and Mahiri of the pridelands with her older brother Mchele.
Likes: Being free, listening to stories, adventures, meeting new people, seeing the good side to every situation.
Dislikes: Being treated as inferior.
Weaknesses: Extremely naive, she can be led and manipulated very easily and never thinks that anyone will do anything bad to her on purpose.
Strengths: Able to see the silver lining in every cloud.
Goal: To be free.
Markings: She is a peach colour with white stripes on her forelegs and tail as well as one between her ears. She has a white stomach and tufted tail. Her forepaws look as if they have been dipped in gold and her slate-blue eyes are masked with gold accentuated by her white nose.
Personality: Kiburi is the most naive lion you'll ever meet, she knows nothing but has a strange wisdom that seems to make sense. She knows nothing of danger and of lions who wish to harm her. Life is a big adventure and she will meet each one with a smile and an energy that far surpasses many others. Though she lacks Stamina and is rather petite she has a personality that makes up for it. It takes a lot to get this little lioness down.
She is able to put up with the grouchiest of lions and is extremely proud of her family. She will never let anyone say a bad word about her and is proud of her pridelander background. She worships her parents and wants to make them proud of her by being a rogue.
Brief History: Born to two rogues in the pridelands Kiburi has been brought up like a princess. She knew nothing but love and security and has never really felt fear or sadness. It is this that perhaps makes her most naive.
She set out on her adventure as a juvenile and was enslaved shortly after that. It will be here that the greatest changes will take place in her.

Likes: Being rowdy! Throwing his weight around, pouncing and playing rough house. Protecting his ma from danger. Acting tough. Dragonflies. Singing. Being the center of attention.
Dislikes: Being beaten up, ignored, being called names.
Weaknesses: Picking fights with people who are tougher than him which could lead to him being beaten up.
Strengths: He's a noble lion who has a big heart.
Goal: To keep his ma safe from danger.
Markings: A black speckled lion with the brightest, bluest eyes you will ever see. He gained his black stripe and blue eyes from his mother, whilst the speckles weer gained from his rogue father who he will never know. A shadow amongst the lands.
Personality: Mawasii is a mama's boy, he adores Kinja more than anything and has made it his life goal to protect her from harm. He can see that she had a hard life and is finding things difficult and wishes to make her life easier. He will more than likely stay at her side for as long as she lives, protecting and guarding her with all the strength he can conjure.
If anyone dared to say a mean thing about Kinja to his face he would get very upset and maybe even enter a rage. He does not like anyone talking badly about her or his siblings and is a loyal member of the family.
He always wonders about his father though and will often try to question about him with a curioity that never fails and he loves to learn.
He is a very intelligent lion even from a young age and loves to learn and become wise. This is strange considering he often chooses to act in a cub-like manner, skipping around and playing and being completely irresponsible. A fun loving lion he is!

.:. Ripuka .:.
Name meaning: Burst into Flame
Allias: Feather-Claw
Age: Adult
Rank: Huntress
Mate: n/a
Offspring: two dead cubs that remain unnamed.
Family: Born to Paytah and Nui'Lua of the Firekin Pride
Likes: Seeing the fear in the eyes of a foe, pushing others to their limits, confusing others with strange riddles and morals. Taking care of her pride despite past events. Showing off her power.
Dislikes: Being picked on, being mated with, being touched by any outsider in general, being approached from her blind side.
Weaknesses: She can often be blinded by her rank as a firekin member, making her somewaht narrow in her views of others.
Strengths: She has the ability to act physically and mentally
Goal: To help her dying Firekin Pride.
Markings: An Orange-red lioness with a white muzzle, stomach and paws. The end of her tail glows as if on fire and her eyes are Bi-coloured only due to her injury. For on her right side her eye is but a slither of green where she is blind, her good eyes is golden. She has black tribal tattoos on her hind leg and on her foreleg she has the number 13 in roman numerals.
Accessories: She has white and brown feathers tucked behind each ear, and at each foot is a golden bangle that glitters in the sunlight and clinks if tapped together. Her ears are also pierced with many silver rings.
Personality: Ripuka is a strange girl, a warrior who stands alone against the world. Where once she was a loyal part of the Firekin pride she is now a wandering rogue, slipping in and out of the shadows, always moving unseen. She is the queen of stealth and proud of it, the silent watcher with an everlasting patience. There are however, many different sides to this lionness that reveal themselves almost spontaneously. Sometimes it appears as if perhaps more than one mind dwells within her.
The calm --- When facing a foe or a hunt there comes a great stillness within her, the calm before the storm swirling around her as an aura that is almost visible. An endless patience soothes her with a quiet confidence that often has others backing away before she can even begin to bare her teeth. There is a ruthlessness in her actions and lack of emotion that is more fearsome than if she were to erupt with rage, leaving others with a feeling of uncertainty. She is a trained and awesome killer who can perform the dance of death on whomever she pleases. Yet it is sometimes this over-confidence that leads her to underestimate the abilities of her adversaries.
The emotional --- When out of sight and ear-shot of others Ripuka will often find herself thinking back to the Pride she left behind, wondering how they are getting on and whether they are okay. She left not because she disiked them but because she felt she had to, finding the shame of her actions too much to bear. It is this that keeps her from showing her face in the lands of the desert again, but that desire always remains the same. Her heart will always remain with that Pride, even if they don't remember her. This angsty part of her life is her secret alone however, and her emotional state will only ever be kept to herself unless there be another she trusts enough to share it with. This part of her personality for now will remain a secret.
The angered --- Her only true emotion she ever shares is her lust for anger, errupting at spontaneous and unlikely times. If she feels things are getting out of paw she will not hesitate to raise her voice. She loves to see the fear in the faces of her foes and friends, loves to remind them that she is the more powerful lionness. However, her anger is also used as a cover to hide some of her deeper feelings, replacing her sadness with a threatening growl. Perhaps if this is so then if she treats one individual terribly it actually means she cares. You hurt the ones you love? In a way this is how Ripuka chooses to live her life; hidden within a shell of anger.
The crazed --- And now we finally come to the part of her personality that most of the others see if they are unlucky enough to cross her path. Her constant ramblings, defensive behaviour and inability to express her emotions clearly lead others to believe that she is not quite right in the head. When she lost her eye she also became extremely paranoid that others were trying to sneak up on her from that side, or that she'd miss something important. It is this paranoia, mixed with her inability to converse well with others that lead many to think, "she's been out in the sun too long." And who knows...this could actually be true.
Brief History: When the day of the Firekin were at their strongest and their reign supreme a blessing was placed upon Paytah and his mate. A lone daughter was born, and a beauty at that. They named her Ripuka, meaning 'burst into flame' and there they raised her under the rules of tradition.
She lived out her young days learning the ways of the warrior, understanding her power and the sign of her red coat. She was proud to be a firekin and was devoted to the pride.
It was on a day when the sun was high and the temperature hot when Ripuka was first approached by the rogue lion. His great form was as sandy as the desert around them and his eyes were as blue as the oasis. It was those eyes that enchanted her. Never before had she felt like this, her heart beat wildly within her chest and she felt drawn to him in a way she had to no other.
Ripuka had fallen in love.
Yet despite this she knew that what she felt was wrong, that no rogue could ever be welcomed into the pride. Her love for this male was treachery and she would be called traitor by her family and friends. However she met with him each day, thinking with her heart more than her mind.
It was on one day when her father approached her and spoke of the strange scent that lingered her form. Stricken with fear she replied that she had killed a rogue that had been lurking on the border. Paytah believed her.
The next day she returned to her rogue and told him to leave. Their love had to end, that much was clear. She never saw him again.
It was a few weeks later that she noticed the slight bulge in her belly and felt the movement within her before she realised the extent of her treachey. Terrified of being slaughtered by the ones she loved she considered leaving before the signs of her pregnancy became clear. It was at around this time that Kinja appeared, a lioness who claimed to be a lost member of the pride.
On the night that Ripuka had chosen to leave a strange sight appeared before her. A lion with wings of mist and eyes that held rainbows within them. She would never forget his mischievious expression or the way his fur shimmered under the moonlight.
"Daughter of the firekin, why do you wander at the border?"
"A daughter of fire no longer I'm afraid." She grimaced, not daring to look back.
"Then I can help you."
"How?"
"I have magic that can stop the pride from following you, a magic that will save your life." He chuckled.
"Why help me?"
"Why not?" He yawned and spread his wings, a strange glow encasing his large frame. "I am the Lost God. They have forgotten you. Now you can be free."
"W-what do you mean forgotten me?" Ripuka snarled, lowering her position a little.
"Your time with them is lost. Now I must become lost once more." And as quickly as the great lion had appeared, he was gone.
With a heavy heart the crimson lioness moved across the desert, never once looking back to the pride that she loved. She lived as a rogue and walked the lands alone, struggling to hunt with her swollen belly.
It was when she was close to starving that the cubs were born, two sons with clear markings of their father imprinted on their fur. In a rage, Ripuka tore them apart, the blood of her children staining her maw. It was their fault that she was alone now, their fault she was a traitor.
Then she moved once more, the shadow in the dark.
