In Fatal Frame I, there is a small crevice near the storeroom, and Family altar room (I think thats what it is) where you first battle Long Arms. Now, later on you have to take a picture of a little girl hiding back there. Okay, there is obviously a sort of path there. Where does it lead?! Thats all I wanna know!! Theres no way a human could even fit back there, but it seems to be a little hide away. Whose got any ideas on what could be back there? :3

thats exactly what i wanna know! what the heck is that crevice even for anyways. who builds a house like that, its all very suspicious if you ask me...

Leads to nowhere! heart it's just a crevice to find the photo, that's all. It might just be scenary thing, to creat mistery or something. But there's nothing on the map and the game doesn't have anything else to do in the crevice besides de photo.

I think she was supposed to be one of the girls that went missing the same day the Mikoto did. There's a Japanese legend about a man with long arms that steals children from their beds, and I think after you beat the game and you get to see the ghost list it talks about how the "Man With Long Arms" ghost is looking for his children. My guess would be he was looking for his children and stole the two girls and the boy away because he couldn't find them. Mikoto escaped because Little Kirie protected her. And the girl's ghost was probably there because she might have been hiding there at some point while playing Demon Tag.

Like.... when you least expect it, and are all happy because your close to beating the game....and Broken Neck slithers out of it like some horrible....horrible.... thing. O_O

Henada is totally right. At one point in my game I lingered in the area too long and discovered (much to my dismay) that the crevice is used to house Broken Neck.

Augh. I hate that crevice now and cringe when I must walk by it. gonk

Crevice = Broken neck = Haku + Scared
Crevice = Scared Haku

Well that was wierd... I've never played this one myself but when my friend was fighting long arms I saw the crevice and it looked creepy.
Maybe it's where long arms rapes little children!!

I imagine that there was some sort of practical use of the crevice being there in the traditional japanese style house. Either that or the developers decided they needed a crevice because DUDE. Crevices are pretty fricken scary. sweatdrop

Today I was playing and I walked by that stupid thing and the ghost that shows his rib cage and has two scythe looking arms popped out of it. Kinda scared me a bit. :/
