The caramel colored stallion breathed in the clear air deeply. The last time he had breathed in air this nice, it had been when he had met Rain. He was currently looking for Aruna, but as he couldn't find her, he finally decided she was somewhere safe. Hopefully.
He trotted more into the grassy meadow, drinking in the sight before him. The sun was ready to set. He loved watched the sun rise more than when it set, but he supposed either view was beautiful. He preferred dawn, however. He was especially glad when Miakoda had named his daughter Aruna, meaning dawn, in the Indian language.
Ah... there the sun went. It was just half above the horizon now.

Randee spotted a stallion in this distance. She trotted over to him and circled around him twice, smiling.
"Hello there," said Randee. "I am Randee. And you are?"
She continued walking around happily. She felt very relaxed.

Hania blinked as a black-and-white-striped mare suddenly appeared, circling around him. She looked quite happy, she did. "Hello, there, Randee," he greeted, when she had introduced herself. "I'm Hania." She looked the picture of happiness. The way she looked made him wish Aruna could look like that...

"Hello Hania," said Randee, stopping. "So, how are you today?"
Randee sensed that something was bothering Hania, she just couldn't tell what it is.

"I'm fine, thank you," Hania said, smiling at the mare. He appreciated her politeness. "And you? You seem very happy today."

"Yes, I am very happy," said Randee. "I am in love!"
She shouted this with enthusiasm.
"Me and Unesdala ale Vsti," she said, smiling. "We are in love."
She turned to Hania.
"And you?" asked Randee. "Have you found true love?"

Hania's eyes widened and then he smiled. "That's very nice, Randee," he said. "Yes, I found love." His own eyes shown with happiness as he thought about his mate. "My mate Mahiri and I have been together for a while now. If you should ever meet any of my children, you can see that I have true love."
His eyes grew hard as he said, "If anything happens to you, Randee, feel free to come to me. I'm always here for you. Just as I'm always there for all my other friends as well." His eyes softened, and he smiled. Young love... ah, he remembered it well himself. And he was still in love, and living with a happy family, too.

"Me and Unesdala plan to have children of our own someday soon," she said, smiling. "We both love eachother so much."
Randee thought over Unesdala and began to blush.
"What's it like? Having children?"

Hania winked at her. "Well, it depends. I love children, and so does my mate. So we raised ours very well, but they all turned out to be completely different from my mate and me."
He thought on how to advise her. "It's wonderful having children." H smiled. "It's nice to hear you love each other so much. Having children means responsibility and less time to frolick, however. That is, until they get older.
"I plan to have more children again with my mate someday." He smiled at that thought, and then grinned at Randee. "It's nice to know someone who's experienced, isn't it? Just kidding." He chuckled.

Randee laughed.
"Me and Unesdala are so excited to start a family of our own," said Randee. "I never really had a family. I was raised in the savanah. My entire family was attacked by a herd of lions. I was the only one able to escape."
A tear fell from Randee's eye, but she maintained control of her emotions.
"I moved on and met a confused mountain lion, Leah," said Randee. "It was so unusual to become a friend of hers. I was always so afraid. Nevertheless, we became close friends and travelled together and arrived here."

Hania nuzzled the young mare gently. "I'm sorry your family was killed. But here, you can find safety, though there are still dangers here. Still, it's safer." He smiled at the little lion that was peeking out from behind Randee. "Ah, I see. Have you gotten over your fear, Randee? Leah seems to really like you. In fact, I'd say the little darling would probably protect you if she could." Hania greeted Leah. "Hello, Leah. I'm Hania."

"If I could?" asked Leah. "I've been protecting her all my life. Since we met."
Leah smiled at the stallion.
"Yes, becareful around Leah," said Randee. "She is rather aggressive."

Hania blinked. "Ah... I'm sorry, Leah, if I insulted you." He smiled back down at the lion, and nodded to Randee. "Yes, I trust she rather is quite aggressive."
