So, have any romance scenes that were just...ugh?
One that really gets on my nerves was the scene by the fire on Naboo in Attack of the Clones. "My heart is beating, hoping that the kiss will not become a scar." and "You are in my very soul, tormenting me."
gonk They made me want to hurl. Even when I first saw it at 12 when I wasn't even in to romance.
George Lucas, you're good with action scenes and all that "I am your father" crap, but when you're not dealing with Han and Leia, leave the romance to someone more...worthy.

*dies laughing*
Lion King II:
Kiara: "My father said there was a darkness inside Scar that he couldn't get rid of..."
Kovu: "Maybe... there's a darkness in me, too."
My friend Suzie started screaming at the TV screen.
Worst. Lines. EVER. XD

It was just...ew. Disney movies are cool, but I think it is a general rule that their sequels always suck.

Oh my god, I know.
Dx The Golden Age of Disney movies is long, long past... *sniff* it's too bad, because their originals were fantastic. I just LOVED Beauty and the Beast.

I think in general the third Star Wars (Revenge of the Sith) was pretty darn corny. George Lucas needs to work on his dialogue. Don' t get me wrong, I loved the movie but a lot of times (especially with Anakin/Padme) scenes, I just wanted to snort and break out in laughter, which wasn't a good thing to do in a crowded theater.

I admit, because I'm a tragedy fan, I ate it all up and loved most of it. I also liked the Anakin *slashcutkillmauldie* parts, for some inner sadistic reason that slightly frightens me. But the "It' only because I'm so in love" and on in that second scene with Anakin and Padme on the balcony made me want to bang my head against my seat when I first saw that. By that time, I KNEW what good romance stories were, and it seemed ten times worse then when I saw Attack of the Clones.

The Kitsune Hanyou But the "It' only because I'm so in love" and on in that second scene with Anakin and Padme on the balcony made me want to bang my head against my seat when I first saw that. YES. That was the part that made me want to vomit. But other than scenes like that, I loved the whole movie. People said it was corny near the end when Padme confronts Anakin on Mustafa (I think that's the name) but I didn't really think so. That part made me want to cry. But seriously, I wanted to yell out "THAT'S CORNY!!" to many scenes but I think that would've gotten me thrown out. And if I'd been thrown out, I wouldn't have been able to watch the whole movie and that's a very sad thing sweatdrop

But consiering it IS Darth Vader's original voice in this one, you made me think of Lion King. "Mustafa!" I mean, Lucas wasn't bad at the whole Han/Leia thing in the first movies. I actually liked that. But this Anakin/Padme angst/love thing...blegh.
