My dad would not take it so hard, although my mom might send me to live with my grandmother on her side. The one that lets you have no fun. D:
Or she would just slap me upside the head a couple of times and take the computer away.

my mom basically stays away from my comics and she's really unnoticing of it. once she BOUGHT me a yaoi comic without knowing it XD needless to say i didn't tell her but it goes to show i don't think she'd ever really 'catch' me.

Eh, it all depends on the parents. I'd be dead myself if caught reading anything over OT. (OT being... eh... I'd still have the book) -Sighs- Oh woe is me, must I wait untill I'm 18?

Lucky..... How do you get around those things, if the cover looks 'suggestive' then she has to flip through it. D:

Heh, I'm always throwing strange bits of information at my mother, so maybe by the time she finds out I'm into yaoi and shounen-ai she'll be numb to the idea. ^^
As far as I know, my mom is unaware of my little guy/guy kink, but she'll probably find out someday. I don't think she'll care that much, actually. She thinks it's gross to see men kiss, but she's not about to try to tell me what I can like.
....The porn, however, she might have a problem with. ^^

Thanks to the miracle of technology, and the wonderful ignorance of it to the older generation, my PC hides a lot.
Never been caught yet, hope to never be caught. While I'm not ashamed of it, till it's a little more accepted in the western world, I'd rather avoid awkward situations...

My mom walked in on me while I was watching Level C. (And critisizng the way they drew the dude's freaking neck x_o , not the point) Luckly, my computer screen faces a wall, so she would have had to walk all the way around the couch and behind to desk to see it.
The guy's neck was too thick I tell you. D:

i'm 18, my parents know i have yaoi comics they just dont know whats in them. so if they do see them i can go with the "i could legaly look at this stuff" excuse xp

My parents have no clue. I think my mom sees the books, but doesn't know what it is.. if she does, she doesn't say anything. She rarely questions me about anything.. ._.;; My brothers sorta know. Since one of them flipped through a yaoi book. xd And three of my sisters know. I've never been caught watching yaoi. ninja I usually watch it in the early morning, around 3 AM. Or when I'm really certain no one's around. My older brother almost caught me reading a yaoi manga on the computer once. But still have never been caught in the act. ^^

But the freedom to watch it even if they are there instead of being all secretive about it. ^_^;;
