((Hope this is okay.. xD Ilori can't walk, Arafel takes her everywhere... so i tried to think of somewhere that she would be relitivly alone. ))
It had been a horrible week for Ilori... Nightmares filled the child's dreams with things she couldn't quite understand. Her vocabulary wasn't tuned enough to speak of these things to Arafel yet... And even if it had, she never felt like speaking.

She had been settled outside in the yard, a safe fenced in area, coiled around a small pile of rocks Arafel had set for her 'basking' time. She did enjoy this action, whenver it was cold and she would feel sleepy she would go to the rocks and lay in the sun. It would fill her with energy, and keep the bad things, her dreams, away.

However something different had happend today, a woman had come from nowhere... Ilori had been warned not to speak to strangers... but at the same time, this woman was no stranger. The toddler fell silent as a task was given to her, then left on her pile of rocks befuddled.

(( Since lena said after 3 days you can skip a person, Kamiraki can post first now. So whoever gets to it first. :3 ))

((I was wondering how that would work. xp ))

"Lee!" Kamira called, cupping her hands for maximum volume; probably not the best idea since she had resorted to sneaking through people's backyards and the undefined stretches of grass between their lawns. "Lee! You're late! Get back home this instant!" she called in her best "stern motherly voice".

Finally she sighed, leaning up against a wooden fence. She'd been looking for nearly an hour now, yet strangely enough she wasn't that worried. It wasn't like he hadn't wandered off before, or that Gaia's living districts were all that dangerous. It was a pain more than anything, she thought, glancing between the fenceboards with good-natured snooping.

((Sorry, couldn't figure out a good reason to be in or near your backyard. xd And I wasn't sure whether it was a wooden fence or metal, so I just went with the more likely with homes.))

((That's all fine. :B And.. I'll post on the 18th... Giving another 3 days wait, and then we'll just move along with our posting unti Maliska shows up. ^_^ ))

((Alright, that's enough waiting. XD Me and you can just post and if she wants to show up she can. <3 ))
Ilori jumped a bit as a voice carried over the fence, interupting her delima of how exactly she could come up with such things when she didn't feel like doing them. "Nuh!" she called back, toddler lisp along with something else prevailing over a normal speech "Iss EE-l OH-rlee." The s seemed to stick longer than it would on a normal voice, then the toddler's responce had given extra emphasis on the I and O in her name as if to correct the voice on the other side of the fence.

Her tail coiled tighter around the highest rock as she tried to lift herself up as high as she could to see just who this person that couldn't get her name right was. She got fairly high, raising up until the weight of her upper half overcame the strength of her lower, sending the toddler falling from her tiny pile and into the grass with a startled yelp.

The child had been roosting in a rather cozy tree at the time, tail thumping lightly against the bark of the tree. That woman... So strange.. He shook his head and wriggled his ears slightly, and then glanced down at the world that lay far below him. His dreams were also haunted by things that he never quite understood--and however peaceful these images, they always feeled him with a sense of dread.. And this tearing feeling in his gut.. Yet this time...

The lanky 'roo turned his unusually blank gaze towards the road, hoping to spot his father appearing around the bend.. No such luck. His ears drooped for a moment and he slowly began climbing his way down from the tree. A sound caught his attention soon enough, however. Someone shouting, and then a familiar voice... His head cocked to one side. "Ilori?"

He hopped down the rest of the way, and trudged over to the girl's basking spot. "What're you doing, 'Lori?" He asked quietly, and the once always cheerful boy's face was like stone. He hadn't really smiled for a long time. He reached out to lay a hand affectionately on his 'little sister's' head before turning his eyes thoughtfully towards where he had heard the other voice. "Hullo?"

[[ O_O OMG I'm so sorry guys. I got really busy and this just totally slipped my mind. *slaps big reminder on her desktop*. I hope you don't mind if I bring in two of my characters, because I can't think of another good excuse for my character to be around here. ]]

"How about this one, Chester? A house like this?" Rae turned towards her companion, tapping her fingers impatiently on her arm. They were allegedly house shopping together, but only because her niece, Mal, had called her up at the last minute, asking if Rae could go instead. She had avoided citing a reason. She had never met Chester before, but she'd heard many rather infuriating comments about the woman. The two hadn't exactly clicked, one could say. In the end, fed up by Chester's indecision and refusal to select a house she liked, Rae began to ask Chester if she liked any of the houses she saw.

Chester scowled and shook her head. "No, I don't like this one either. It's too...pretty." The tattooed woman kept walking.

Drawn by the sound of yelling, Rae hesitated. "You keep going!" She called to Chester, "I'm going to look around here some more." She ran her fingers through her mohawk, debating whether or not to risk trespassing and get caught by the police again, then walked up to the house. After hesitating for a moment, she forsook the doorbell to slip in a side gate, conveniently unlocked.

[[Sorry I took liberties with the house :/. I figured it would get too complicated if I had her ring the doorbell.]]

Kamira nearly fell down at the sudden shout, leaping back from the fence in alarm. After a moment she heard thump and another yell. Peering into the yard cautiously once more she saw a little girl--with a tail, she noticed absently, as that wasn't so much of an oddity to her anymore--lying on the grass.

"Are you okay?" she asked quietly, worried about the kid but also about possibly being on someone's private property. Before there was an answer--maybe she hadn't been heard--a boy dropped in, another child with a tail and walked over to the first girl(Ilori, she knew now). Kamira watched this, feeling like some weird sort of peeping tom but soothing her guilt by telling herself she would make herself noticed soon enough. Just didn't want to interrupt their conversation. Yeah.

Ilori pulled her face from the grass to give the boy a soft smile, normally she would have been overjoyed from the attention, but lately she just didn't feel like putting much effort into anything. Her smile was no different. "Brotha!" She reached her own hand up to clasp ahold of his, being the rather touchy-feely child she was. "Mnnf." She tried to pull her snake half back under her body, coiling it so she could rest upon the spiraled mass. It was almost like a portable chair. "Warminsss." the s in her words stuck as it allways did as she pointed to the rocks to explain.

She looked to where the voice had been coming, edging herself over so she could grasp a hold around her older brother's waist. Hugging him some and burring her cheek in his side. "Woman..." she stated blankly, looking at the two newcomers that had entered their yard. She was actually excited to see new people, but her energy levels were low... And Eva was warm. "Hii." she held out her hand, giving a half-sucessful attempt of the wave Eva had taught her.

[[ I'm switching characters, I think. Yeah. I'm switching characters, to my character Rae. I'll go back and edit my first post later. ]]

Rae exhaled a quick sigh of relief when no adults showed their faces as she surveyed the yard. That left her free to focus her attention on the odd children before her. She had certainly never seen anything like the girl, and she'd seen a lot of bizarre creatures in her day. She looked like something out of a Greek myth. Red eyes, pale hair, snake body...she looked like a Medusa. The boy, she thought, looked a bit more cuddly. Fuzzy ears and a tail. That was pretty common in Gaia. He looked like an oversized, anthro teddy bear. She had a crazy urge to just go over and squeeze him.

After a brief moment's irrational, hair-raising fear (was she going to be turned to stone by the girl?), she grinned and waved back. "Hi!" She told the girl-thing, as she crossed the yard to the stones. "I heard a yell, and I though someone might be in trouble. Was that you? Are you okay?" She tried to keep her language simple so the girl, who looked to be young, could understand her. Oh well. If not, the boy could always "translate" for her. The two looked to be close, maybe they were siblings and one child was adopted. "I'm Rae," she told the boy. "Are your parents around?"

[[ Should we skip KamiraKi too? ]]

((Gah, sorry. Been really busy the past week or so. xp ))
Kamira watched yet another person join the group in the yard and decided that she should either enter the conversation or admit that she was spying. She tried to look over the fence, then when she realized she was too short, the redhead rolled a rock over to give her a leg up.

"Um, excuse me," she said, peering over the top of the fence, her chin barely grazing the top unless she held herself up and let her feet dangle above the ground. Kamira couldn't help thinking she'd never do anything like this back in her old town. "Have any of you seen a small, four winged...er, kinda looks like a dog--wearing a green bodysuit?"
