Whilst her company was sleeping, the graceful thin figure of Matuko had slid out from beneath the foliage to bask in the moonlight. Streaks of the pale light filtered through the leaves, exaggerating the females pale pelt. Her large eyes widened, taking in the scene which was exceptionally different at night.
Taking a long breath, she reclined, her long limbs folded beneath her. It was during this time she managed to muter under her breath. She muttered a rather strange request, of neither god nor her companion, but of fate. The gentle yet supersticious female felt herself being charmed by Mng'Arizo. She smiled. If that was what fate wanted..

Thanda had left the male sleeping to take a drink. She liked his company, it was a nice change to things that had happened before and the lonliness she had endured.
The golden cheetah laid herself down, her head resting on her paws letting the sun bath her golden pelt. Her orange eyes were closed and how she longed to watch her friend rush into the water again. She liked to play with him, the first proper friend she had in ages!

As her gaze fell back to the ground, she spotted a golden cheetah, bespotted and bearing beautiful orange tattoos. Her eyes widened instantly. Her light paws pulled her towards the female, cocking her head slightly as she smiled and offered her a greeting. "Hello there!"
Matuko wasn't ususally social, the only cheetah she had met was Mng'arizo. At the thought of the male her stomach twisted. It was an almost elevating feeling, but at the sametime, somewhat painful.

Thanda has stayed outside the jungle and was surprised when a cheetah emerged from the green lands. She looked up, her orange eyes blinking somewhat before she let out a yawn and stretched.
"Hello there." She didn't say much as she was not alone but while her friend wasn't in view then he needent know someone else was around. It was better that way, they would probably end up moving again soon anyway.

Her eyes had a sheen to them, her curiousity brimming and her facial expression looking keen to socialize. Stepping closer to Thanda, her quiet voice was audible. "What's your name?" Her words trailed off, ending with another generous smile. "I'm Matuko."
It was so obvious that the stars had meant for them to meet that day, just with Mng'Arizo! She felt comforted by the very seeming presence of the fates and sighed happily, face and smile content.

"Thanda" She then lapped up some more water. It was a hot day and she needed all the cool water she could so that she would be ready to hunt later when the sun got lower.
The cheetah wasn't much of a talker, others had found that out and she was happy to be there and not say anything, the awkward femme that she was.

" Thanda." She said quietly. Smiling again she found a sudden urge to compliment the cheetah. "That's a nice name, and a nice and bright pelt you have too!" She seemed a little quiet, so Matuko bowed her head and let her eyes wonder to the lush ground for a moment, ears still perked to accept any conversation from the female. It appeared however that she had run out of things to say, so instead she turned to the topic to the jungle itself.
"What a wonderful place, do you come here often?"

Thanda nodded at the comment about her name and pelt. She continued to drink, her and Adem had been travelling a bit lately and drinking seemed to become something of a rareity.
"No, We are just passing through. The jungle is for the leopards. We are land animals and aren't made for hunting amoungst trees so it makes sense not to go there." Once she had spoked she went back to drinking, more and more she drank as if she was about to burst, but then, who knows when you will drink again?

Cocking her head again she reverted her gaze back to Thanda for a moment. She didn't seem at all social, though by her explaination of the jungle she seemed to be intellignet and quite logical. She grinned. Fate was always leading her to meet the most interesting of creatures, such variety too. Why she remembered that leopard she'd met. She shuddered openly, hoping Thanda wouldn't take too much notice.
"Yes, I suppose that makes sense..." She couldn't think of anything else to say, what else was there to say?

"What were you doing in the jungle anyway?" Thanda didn't look at the other when she spoke she just well, spoke. She continued to drink as well but she was slightly curious to why the cheetah had appeared out of the jungle because well, it was just weird!

"Oh..." Her mind wondered back to Mng'arizo again, her smile intact. "I was travelling with a friend and we both agreed that the jungle was a great place to visit." She wondered if her actions sounded unusual, as Thanda seemed to find cheetahs about the jungle a very unusual scene. Her light tail wound its way around her hind leg, hoping her explanation justified herself.

She nodded, "Its understandable. I am sorry if I sound rude or anything but I must rish back before Adem wakes up and realises I have gone. I dont think he would worry much, but you never know with boys. It was nice meeting you, maybe I can meet you again sometime!" She smiled and lowered her head before turning and going off.
