 1. Please treat me/this journal with respect -- If you're going to post here, I ask that you be polite about it. Respect my setting, any RPs in progress, and try not to disrupt anything.
2. This is an IC-only journal. Please direct any OOC remarks over PM
3. No Powergaming, no twinking, no otherwise being obnoxious -- If your all-powerful spectre comes in and wipes out everybody in Safrinni's household, your post will be ignored and deleted with much prejudice.
4. Leave IC and OOC where they belong -- If Zoof and your pala don't get along, it doesn't mean that I hate you or your character, its just how things happen in RP. If it concerns you, tag me on AIM or PM and we can discuss it, but I assure you 99% of the time, its a strictly IC-only issue.
5. Ask me before borrowing something from this journal -- If you particularly like one of the graphics or a particular layout that's unique only to my journal, I really appreciate being asked before you take it for your own. I'll usually tell you yes, but sometimes its something I'd prefer not to sharel, and its simply common courteousy besides.
6. Please don't ask me to pair up my characters with yours -- I don't like pre-arranging matings for the sake of pretty babies. If you'd like your pala/kun/kyun and mine to pair up, arrange some RP with me and let's see how they get along. If things look promising and they hit it off, we'll start making plans.

Name: Zoof Nickname(s): N/A Species: Pala (transformed from a Kun kun) Gender: Female Age: approx. 2 years (was adult, now adolescent again) Mate: none Offspring: none Parents: unknown
Likes: playing, exploration, hugging, fluffy things, sweet food and drink, butterflies
Dislikes: thunderstorms, the word "no", and very little else, really...
Personality: Zoof is extremely happy-go-lucky and hyperactive, as are most kunkuns. After her transformation into a pala, she retained much of her former personality with an added affection for all things and a slight drop in common sense.
Background: Zoof began life in the way most kunkuns do... as a gem in a bottle. After emerging, she became attached to her caretaker, Karma. When some confusion involving Kyendi being destroyed and Karma vanishing arose, Zoof took solace in becoming friends with Safrinni, a skittish ieldi child.
As Frinni grew, Zoof became a constant companion of hers along with Tikki, a motherly kyunru, and Setka, a wild white kun with a feral streak. Before long, she did not remember what life was like before attaching herself to Frinni and followed her everywhere she went.
One day, Safrinni's wanderings brought them to a strange shop in which there were many strange and inviting new smells and sights. While exploring one of the display cases, Zoof discovered a beautiful pink fruit shaped like a chubby star and simply could not resist giving it a taste.
As luck had it, this particular fruit was a magical one and the little kunkun soon underwent a transformation that completely and utterly transformed her into an entirely new creature. No longer Zoof the Kun, she was now Zoof the Pala.

Name: Safrinni Nickname(s): Frinni Species: Ieldi Gender: Female Age: approx. 2 years (adult) Marital Status: single Children: none Parents: unknown (fostered by Daruma)
Likes: reading, quiet, gentle breezes, the night sky, stars, sweet tea, fresh bread, gentle music
Dislikes: loud noise, being spoken to harshly, people with an angry demeanor, breaking or disrupting things
Personality: Frinni is a very shy and browbeaten sort of girl, hiding her beauty behind a pair of glasses and frumpy clothes. She is most content when by herself with a good book and does very little socializing if not forced. She is extremely distrustful of strangers, but does her best to be polite to everyone, no matter how much they may frighten her.
Background: Frinni has had a very confusing life. Her discorporated spirit was attracted to the ornate shelf of a tree in Kyendi which was decorated and manned by an anthro foxcoon named Karma. After growing to trust the woman over a series of days, Frinni risked placing herself into the shelf's nesting relic where she was brought back to the realm of the living in the body of an infant.
For a time, she and Karma were inseparable, but life could not always remain so simple. Safrinni's life was plunged into confusion when clashes among the recently-returned pantheon destroyed her village tree and a good portion of Kyendi with it. Karma was lost in the confusion, and Safrinni was alone.
After being discovered by Daruma, the diety of future, Frinni was adopted by the wisened pantheon as her granddaughter and the two of them sought refuge on the outskirts of Gaia. As their relationship strengthened, Daruma assured Safrinni that Karma had not abandoned her, she had simply found herself unable to return to Kyendi and, after much trying, had given up and returned to her charges back home. Never the less, Safrinni declined Daruma's invitation to attempt to reunite her with her foster mother, not feeling ready to see her again just yet.
When much time had passed and Frinni did not seem to be growing any older, Daruma became concerned and lent some of her power to give Safrinni an older body to better fend for herself.
Once jump-started into a gawky adolescent, it did not take Frinni long to blossom into a beautiful young woman. For a long time, she, her grandmother, and Karma's various scattered Kyendi charges all lived in contentment, attempting to forget the chaotic past that had brought them together.
If left up to Safrinni, she would have been content to live the rest of her life this way...however, one day Daruma brought news of one of Frinni's kind having returned and attempting to revitalize the scraps and fragments that had once been Kyendi. Against her better judgement, curiousity won out and Frinni dared to venture to the shop of Elderspark to see if her grandmother was telling the truth and if some part of her former homeworld had, indeed, survived...

Oddly enough, Tikki is older than I am and yet doesn't show it. She is a steadfast companion, once belonging to my estranged mother, and has not allowed her spirits to be dimmed by all of the displacement and confusion. Her very presense is comforting to me and it is my hope she has many years left in her.'
Little Setka...she appeared shortly after the pantheon crossed over from Kyendi into Gaia along with her wild bretheren. Time has mellowed her into a tolerable houseguest, though she is still extremely high-strung. She and Zoof used to be good friends, but she has become wary of her green counterpart after the change happened....

Zoof, as she once was. My long-time Kunkun companion managed to get ahold of one of the strange fruits that Imriel was selling in her new shop and it caused some very unusual changes in her appearance...
Zoof, as she is now. After eating the starfruit, it transformed her completely into another creature. I still see traces of the old Zoof, and she still acts like the old Zoof, but one would not know it initially. I hope that these changes will not have any ill effects on her in the longrun.
And then, quite suddenly one day, Zoof was no longer such a little Pala any longer...
