Junpaku Hana (a.k.a. Jun) Played by BloodonWhitePetals She has white hair and milky-gray eyes. Her only possessions are a white party dress and a blue paper fan she got from a wealthy admirer. She burned her robes from the monastery.

Daviniar Drakstaud (Davin for short) Played by Alan_DominionDavin is a very tall, muscular man. He has long blond hair
(often kept in a long ponytail), Wide green eyes and very youthful face.
Poking out from under his hair are two greenish, webbed ears resembling
those of a dragon.
Though intimidating in stature, Davin is rather naive and a bit dumb.
While these are generally more dangerous traits for a knight, his
general friendliness helps keep him out of trouble.

Jin (the Demon) Kayuki Played by Azrael_Meginiusa muscular man, around 6 feet tall, 165.5 lbs solid muscle, his eyes are the most remarkable, they are steel blue in color, but when he gets angry they turn a black color, he wears the traditional Karate Gi with the sleeves torn off, and foot wraps, The rather remarkable thing about him is a rather large jagged scar on his back

SuikaPlayed by Sammi Logan
No one knows quite where Suika came from, and if she does, she isnt telling. She is fairly expressionless; though in certain circumstances she has been know to display emotion normally.
With an ever-present notebook and an unusual love of music, the young woman is an enigma, walking a path perhaps even she doesnt know.
Her ability to change forms, while useful, is rarely used, as she finds no reason to be ashamed of who and what she is, despite prejudice received.

AkamoukoPlayed by Aravol
Tall, thin, and quick, Akamouko looks at first glance like a normal human, but that's only first glance. He posses cat ears, a thin tail, even retractable claws, and his hair is bright red littered with black stripes. His eyes are vertical pupils in blue pools, much like a tiger's, though he can willingly shift his eyes to round pupils as needed. He typically wears loose clothings with sashes firmly tied around his waist, ankles , wrists, elbows and knees.
His clothing has the same color pattern as his hair, red with black stripes.

THE TOWN THUS FAR:
Each of you have come to the town of Diha. It is a trading town, a main stop before adventuring out into the world. There is every kind of species, type and attitude to be seen.
There is a hotel that has a small pub, a bath house near the hotel, a rather large tavern and a very large trading center where most of the action seems to be.

THE STORY THUS FAR:
Each of you had been delivered a scroll that has the writing: Ye has traveled a path thus far, though it may have varied, it has been straight so far. That shall change if ye wants. Remeber this only your heart knows your true intent and DESTINY is all you have. On the back of the scroll was a map from your exact point to the town of Diha.
You are all entering the town after recieving the scroll. It is very early in the day and the trade market is very busy, it is hard to see anyone in particular without really looking. The tavern seems busy for the time of day and there are people everywhere. A normal day...it seems.
PostPosted: Mon Jun 12, 2006 4:05 pm

Davin is wandering through the crowds of the trade center, smiling at the people he passes. He stands out slightly in his green dragon-styled armor, carring a lance even taller than he is on one shoulder. Every so often he'll stop at a booth that has something particularly shiny or pretty. He stops for a moment, as if he suddenly remembered something; He pulls out the scroll, reading it again and looking around.

[OOC] This post will require some explanation, as my posting style is possibly different from what you've seen before.
I post in third person, past tense (for example, Alan's first post is third person present tense), except for speech and thoughts, which are first person.
All my posts are IC (In Character) unless clearly noted as being [OOC][/OOC] (Out Of Character).
" " means speech
Italics mean thoughts
"Italiced quotes" means speeh in a foreign langauge
Bolded italics means Suika is using telepathy
(*0) Asterixed numbers in brackets like this means a note of some sort, probably game related

Hope that will help you all to understand (better than you would have) my posts. [/OOC]

Suika was sitting outside the tavern, sipping her drink, writing in her notebook and occasionally looking up to observe the people walking by. Occasionally she would be seen to be reading a scroll, though it didn't seem that she had anywhere obvious to keep it.(*1)

I fail to understand why my heart should be able to guide me. After all, it is my brain in which that part of me which can be called my mind is housed.

She sat back in her chair and tapped her notebook thoughtfully, noticing and ignoring the glares of mistrust she was recieving from those nearest to her and the occasional passer by.(*2)

Nor do I understand why I am so vilified by these people simply for who and what I am. One more thing to document, I suppose.

A sip of her drink and she was back to writing in her notebook again, though anyone looking over her shoulder wouldn't be able to understand a thing, were anyone really interested in the outsiders affairs at all.(*3)

[OOC]
(*1) Nice alternate use for the concealability feat, huh?
(*2) The Ism defect...
(*3) And her native language, assuming "common" as her second. [/OOC]

((I guess I'll explain my post style a little, since Sammi did such a great job, footnotes and all! I usually mark OOC by double parentesis (()), in dark blue. I like the italics for thoughts thing, so I'll probably steal that if Jun ever thinks. Other than that, quotes mean speech, I speak in dark red, so it is more easily seperated from the other text.))

Jun walks through the street looking at all the wares for sale. Occasionally stopping to examine the prettier baubles and moving on when the merchant shoos her off, after they discover that she's not going to buy it. This is usually accompanied by a rude comment regarding children. "Child.. bah! Such a busy, noisy place. The map just leads me this far though... I wonder..." She notes aloud, nimbly slipping through the throngs of people on her way to the Tavern. She smiles broadly, "Maybe I can get someone to buy me a drink, or some food.", under her breath as she approaches the Tavern doors and heads in.

[ooc] I guess since everybody else did it, I should do an explain too. Types of text are listed in their own examples.

thought
"Speech "
""
(not that my char will ever get to use it. lol)
(notes, either for other players or the GM, mostly just to clarify text if I thought I confused anyone... including myself)

I switch between Third person Present and Past, depending on whichever is easier for the post. Thoughts are always in first person.
and I think I'll steal the [ooc][/ooc] thing for extended ooc posts. I like it.
any italics or bolds inside speech bubbles are supposed to give an idea of intonation. I guess that's all.
[/ooc]

He stares at the scroll for a long time, turing it over a few times before he rolls it up and sticks it back in his pack.
A loud rumbling growl emits from his stomach. He stares down at it.
"Aww.. I forgot to eat again..." He looks around, searching for something that might be a restaraunt.
He spots the tavern and heads for it.

Approaching the Tavern, he spots something he's never seen before... a really pale girl. He checks for a clear path... And jumps.
He lands about four feet from her, kicking up a slight puff of dust as he does. Standing up to his full six foot height again, he smiles cheerily at her.
"Hi."

[OOC] I need to add the two situations I forgot, namely the use of *asterixes* around a word on the rare occasion Suika decides to emphasise something, and the use of colour to denote other people talking.
I'll also point out that I'll probably be having Suika react to multiple posts in one go, so there may seem to be a slight discontinuity between my post and the one immediately above it. Thus this post, while immediately following Alan's, will respond to Blood's first.

Blood: Thanks. It's taken me four years to polish my writing style, and I've included a few things from other people along the way (the OOC tags and the italics)[/OOC]

Suika was, quite frankly, beginning to get bored. While writing was her second most enjoyed pastime, her first being allowing herself to get swept away by music, there was only so much a person could do before going crazy.
The passing of a child into the tavern didn't rate a second glance.

The six foot man jumping the entire street in one go, on the other hand...

Wait, did that man just clear the street with a single jump?

"Hi."

Suika regarded him for a few seconds, before deciding that answering might be a good idea.

"Greetings."
PostPosted: Wed Jun 14, 2006 1:53 am

Sammi Logan
"Greetings."

The woman responded politely enough, So he continued his introduction. He was eager, making his voice sound slightly younger despite the formality of his introduction.
"I am Lieutenant Davinar Drakstraud, Gold Squad Dragoon of Kingdom Aesosphere." He paused for a moment, relaxing from his stance. "What's your name?"
He was bending over a bit now so that he could be closer to her, still smiling from ear to ear and looking rather like an over-excited kid. The note book in her hand caught his very short attention span as well. "And what are you writing?"

((I love the litte comic strip pics in your sig Alan!! You should save them all so we can have a comic of AI-chan's game, at least from your character's perspective.))

Jun stops just short of entering the Tavern, her eye caught by a man in shiny green armor leaping through the air. She is about to turn to get a good look at him when she notices her reflection in the window of the place. Fixing her dress and hair, she admires her reflection for a moment, then turns to see the man talking to a winged woman. "Shiny armor. I wonder why he would wear that around all the time. Maybe he likes the attention." She stands just off to the side of the Tavern door, obviously eavesdropping.

"I am Lieutenant Davinar Drakstraud, Gold Squad Dragoon of Kingdom Aesosphere." He paused for a moment, relaxing from his stance. "What's your name?"

"I am Suika." That was simple enough.

"And what are you writing?"

That, on the other hand, was less simple. That said, it wouldn't hurt to tell the tall man the truth, after all, he wouldn't be able to read exactly what she had written.

"I am writing down my observations of the people around me."

Another look around the area revealed a girl trying very hard not to look like she was trying to listen in.(*1)
Taking particular care not to be looking directly at the girl, she sent a message to her.(*2)

Are you perhaps unaware that eavesdropping on a private conversation is generally considered impolite?

That should get her attention, if nothing else...

[OOC]
(*1) As you said you were obviously eavesdropping, I didn't think I'd need an opposed Spot check to notice you. Feel free to say otherwise and we'll go roll some dice.
(*2) However Suika can still see Jun, or it wouldn't work. [/OOC]

Sammi Logan

"I am Suika."
"I am writing down my observations of the people around me."

Completely oblivious to the silent exchange between the girls, or even to the younger girl's existance, he continued his conversation.
"That's a pretty name." He concentrated on the notebook for a good 30 seconds before he realized he couldn't read it. He blinked.
"What does it say?" The question was innocent and curious, rather than accusatory.

I love how everyone explained their writing styles...manily why I let you guys go for awhile without me intervening..I like to learn styles before I go. Okay explaintion of my way. OOC stuff will be in green, I do like the [OOC] and [/ooc] though..may use. GM stuff mainly dice rolls will be in dark blue. Any NPC or desprictions will be in black and NPCs talking will be in red without proper notations.

Everyone roll a Spot check though...not for Bloods overhearing..I call that legit.
