^.^ so yeah I am back. Been gone from here for a long time. yeah. That was all I wanted to say. I am thinking of making a banner. ^^ if you have any ideas for it please don't be shy in telling me. XD
~Rules~ -be nice to everyone. That means no put downs for not knowing something about the sax. And if you don't like saxophones why the hell are you here. get out. ^.^ -you can talk about anything, but don't make it sick things take those to pms please, for the love of everyone. -come and chat when you can, I can understand not being here for rl reasons. I feel bad, because I did it. -Have fun. XD
I will try to change the polls when I think they should be changed. Thankyou for your understanding. I will also try to be here more often then I was earler.

I want to learn tenor. I don't play a sax yet, though. I play clarinet, and tenor's in the same key, so it will be easy to learn; I'm probably going to play it for pep band this year.

I play the tenor... just started a few weeks ago ^_^ i played flute before (and still) but that made it easy to switch to sax because the fingerings are the same. our marching/pep band was in need of a tenor, so i'm now the only one. plus, i now play in the jazz band

I started playing the tenor about ten months ago. I decided I wanted to be in jazz band and went to my band director, and she told me to learn tenor, since one of the tenor players was a senior and graduating at the end of the year. I started on flute, though. There's three tenors in our band - me, a guy friend of mine who I kinda like, and some random sophomore guy I don't know. Our wind ensemble sax section's fairly big this year - there's four altos, two tenors, and a bari. We get our own row! xd It's cool!

I play alto sax. All saxophone have the same fingerings so you could play almost any of them if you could play just one.

All instruments are like that, but saxophone is the only one with common key variations. I'm pretty sure bass clarinet and maybe even contrabass are Bb, same as the regular clarinet. There are clarinets in other keys, but like other instruments, they're not very common.

I've played both Alto and Bari sax. I like Bari the best, but I'd really love to play either bass or Soprano.

Maybe ask for some help from a fellow alto player. What else have you played before?
