Jidai Matsuri Parade Meow... I helped out an English tutor. She had Holloween parties for her students, I dressed up as a cat and supervised games and took pictures with them. Woo. Ice lanterns. When is it, in May?
I went to it at the end of summer/beginning of fall. I have nooo idea. *whips out her pamphlets folder* The pamphlet says October 22nd.

If you do go to one of those parades, if you can get tickets to sit at/near the startpoint. My friend sat at the end and all the people were pretty sloppy/tired by the time they got to the point she was at. She said all the children were crying, and they guys that are supposed to dance around and toss spears to each other were just passing the spears back and forth.. sweatdrop And if you can't get seats, the public viewing area still might be better.

LOL thanks! I think he's pretty hot too! But to tell you the truth, he REALLY hates kimono. In fact, those are the only 2 pics from that day that he was smiling!

Either he was with a straight face being all serious Japanese-in-kimono-mode or he was just goofing around and whining about how cold he was. LOL he's a big baby sometimes. sweatdrop
