Holy hell. I just got out of school, and I;m taking a new route home and I see this huge building. 3 stories, about a faull acre. Can you guess what was being built? A MCDONALDS! Woo! prizes for all ^_^ Now then, this McDonalds used to be the most busy unit in America, and gained the name Rock n' Roll McDonalds. It had pictures of various 50s-70s artists on it including the beatles, elvis, the who and more. Now, it looks like a modernized building with the simple fast food take-as-much-money-for-selling-grade-d-meat theme. And, the thing that I'm most pissed about is why the hell any fast food establishment would need 3 stories! Like, a whole level of food, and two levels of seating so that the morbidly obese can find a place to sit down to much on their fries while contemplating "why the hell am i fat?" I lost 15 pounds when I was 10 and decided to stop going there.
Super size meh.

Once it opens, which will be in a couple weeks, I'll let everyone know what they do with it and if they kept their classic rock theme.
Something else I don't get: why is it that there has to be a McDonalds on at least every other block? Is it like they want the gluotons that eat there to have the most "convenience" possible. stare

roguemeanies I lost 15 pounds when I was 10 and decided to stop going there. I lost 10 pounds when I was 12 after I stopped eating there. Not to mention I no longer felt sick after exercise. Have you seen the documentry Supersize Me? On the DVD extras they put several McDonalds products in glass jars and waited for mold to grow on them. Even after two months the french fries didn't have ANY mold. Freaky. gonk

Its because theres nothing organic in there damn fries. Theres a 2 story Burger king by the rock shop and A&B sound here, but each of the floors is tiny so they need a second story in order to fit anything more then 15 people. Mind you I wouldnt mind seeing all the fast food places going out of buisness but, meh.

My dad commented to me a few days ago, while we were watching TV. A McDonalds commercial comes on, and he says, "How come they don't ever show fat, overweight people in their commercials? As if anyone who eats there is going to look as healthy and fit as the people portrayed in the commercial." I resist eating at fast food restaurants as much as I can.

Its casue they want their food to seem healthy, like thier rotting salads. Ever notice how the super models in any food commercail never actually takes more than one bite per shot?

I heard that McDonalds got some of the most brutal butcheries. I've seen it on documentaries too.. they torture the animals so badly you can't even immagine if you havent seen it sad
I remember my family and I was in Venice. We were going to get something, eiter a classic inking pen or something for a guitar. Since my dad is knows venice like the back of his palm, he knew about this place where we could get it. So we walked a couple of hours, and guess what... Mc Donalds had taken over.
Not that I got anything against fat people, but it's not healthy... and think about all the cardiac diceases..gee, and they call themself healthy.

What I don't get is how they can charge people for 59 cent hamburgers. Its as if they thought that we actually are living in the 60s.
Their chicken things are even worse. They're the reason I decided to stop eating there besides the fact that now they use some for of rap to make their food sound cool too to pop culture. Finding deep fried tendons and bones in their *shivers* Ugh.

man, it's not even the fast food thing that bigs me anymore.
everyone knows that mcdonald's is bad for them, but they choose to eat there anyways, at least they aren't lying to themselves right?
what made me gag today was seing a Kraft Dinner commercial claiming that KD is a sorce of iron, vitamin C, calcium, and 5 other esential nutriance. IT"S ******** MAC AND CHEESE!!!!! it will never be good for you to put that s**t in your body, no matter how much you pretend.

Yeah, and the oil in doritos and chips like that with the crappy artificial cheese can never leave your body.
a few days ago i looked at the box and compared luckey charms with the uber gross chocolate brand. and for some unexplained reason, it clamed to have less calories than the original brand. how the hell can chocolate and marshmellows be more healthy than the sugar coated kind? it doesnt make sense, and neither did the last few sentences.

My mum and I cleaned out our attic this weekend and guess what we found? At least 5 big boxes FULL of those shitty toys you get with Happy Meals. I found freaking E.T. toys! My brother and I weren't even born (my brother was born in 1987 and I was born in 1990) when E.T. came out. I'm so glad my brother and I aren't obese from how many Happy Meals we must of consumed.
I convinced my dad to donate the toys to Goodwill so maybe some kids will enjoy playing with them.
