Have you ever been harrassed because of your sexuality?
teased? if so to what extent?
What did you do about it?

I get called a dyke all the time, but that's because I don't wear make up and spend hours on my hair and wardrobe.

The only person I know in real life who bugs me about my sexuality is my brother, but I usually just punch him.

Luckily I go to a pretty cool school and stuff so not really. Lots of my friends have been though. I just used to be on the debate team so whenever someone bugs me I start speaking all eloquently and debatelike.

Despite the wide impression of homophobea, I haven't had much of a problem with people bashing my lifestyle.
My big bro isn't entirely happy with it, and that's fairly obvious in my eyes, yet he doesn't make a big deal of it. He just sticks to the calling me a f** instead of my name. Of course, I keep telling him that it doesn't bother me and I just hug him every time he does it. wink

I've been called most variations of lesbian for the same reason as Avenorell--lack of want to do the hair and wear the make-up....its really quite interesting..more than once I've wanted to yell "Taste My Rainbow!" though I have no rainbow to speak of...V)V

However once when I was in London we went to Chinatown and we got the chance to go out on our own. I was walking along the different shops when this lady rushes past me and drops her lipstick on the ground. I picked it up and followed after her and when I managed to catch up with her, she (or rather he) spun around and told me to get my straight hands off of her make-up...rather odd experience...

I do just about the same except with words; I either use really big words or offensive ones to ward him away. >[

Other than, I don't really get teased or bashed at for being gay. I live in a pretty tolerant town and the people I know are really tolerant, too, which is nice. :] Sometimes my girlfriend and I get weird looks or get rude comments by obnoxious people in our school but that's not very often.

Wow, you're really lucky.
Unfortunately for me, I live in a very tight-knitted and religious town. I get flamed almost everywhere I go whether I'm with my boyfriend or not. However, due to the fact that I'm so used to it, it really doen't bother me in the slightest now.

As a matter of fact, my close friends and a couple of the teachers in my school (who happen to be gay) are helping me break down the barriers between homosexuality and religion. We're doing our utmost to get people to se that homosexuality is not a bad thing ant that we can live alongside a religious comunity.

I do really envy you though, it must be really nice not to get flamed or have to go to these kind of extreme lengths to try and knock some common sense into people.

I am very grateful for being able to live safely as a gay in my town. ^^ I hope your situation gets better and that your efforts pay off. :]

Best of luck. <3
