Air had just finished house cleaning for today, it was a bit past noon, and even with the heat outside the open windows let cool air flow freely inside. Oleo was resting with Keen on a corner, cleaning up his own mess seemed to have left him exhausted. Just collecting his toys and placeing it on the cardboard box seemed a big task to him. The early morning had dragged its way out, and apparently had dragged two from the direction of the beach out. Drawing closer to hut number thirteen, Emi glanced up towards the square little house: cleanly named with its own pair of steps leading up towards the darker brown door. The guardian took in a deep breath, here went nothing.
Just as apprehensive, two golden eyes peered out from behind Emi's long locks of hair. Crawling one paw behind the other, the white arctic gryphon shuffled back: releasing her head to rest it onto her paws. There, she could be hidden here.
Hidden was one word for it anyway. Rather, the pitch white gryphon stood out amidst a mass of brown fur. Not quite the affect Blanche had been hoping for, but she didn't quite understand the meaning of camouflage. Opening her black beak, she clicked curiously up at Emi: so this was the reason they'd been scouring the beach all morning in search of the prettiest shell they could find?
"Come on," Her paws bounded up the first few steps, the young woman not even glancing back at her gryphon. Raising one darker brown hand, she gently knocked on the door - the note had said to knock on the back if anyone didn't answer the front. Shifting her weight back onto one paw, she glanced around the corner of the house: seemingly searching for this said back door.
Not that the back door would be in a different position to her own house. The two little huts almost seemed identical in their craftsmanship.

At the sound of the knocks Oleo and Keen perked their ears, they had only heard such sound when Anthony came visit, and he never stayed for long. They quickly dashed to the door and waited expectantly for it to open. Oleo scratched it so the one outside knew they were waiting.
"Comming!" shouted Air from the kitchen. When she got to the door she talked in a low voice to Oleo "don't scratch the door, you already have my closet for that".
Air turned the doorknob and found herself with and unexpected surprise. A girl was standing at the door, she seemed to have som animalistic features, but the sight of the Aerandir had her pretty much used to it. "Hello!" she said smiling "can I help.." and at the time she noticed the gryph on her shoulder. Leaving her speechless. 'So was the girl a guardian too?'

((Ah, don't worry about it - just post up when you can. ^^))No need to search for the backdoor after all. Her tail flicked from one side to the other behind her, large ears easily picking up the scratching at the door. Smile, just smile. Would they like the shell she'd found? She wasn't left thinking for long as the door swung open in front of her, the twenty three year old peering up towards what she could only assume to be the guardian. She must have seemed strange, being a furry alongside her Aerandir.
"Ah, hello. I heard your Aerandir was on a quest?" One furry hand dug deep into her skirt pocket, producing a small shell out from the folds of patchwork material. It was only a small shell and it might have even been overlooked under folds of golden sand- but it was still pretty with all its darker folds into the shell. Holding the ribbed golden cream shell out towards the guardian, Emi finally smiled herself.
Two yellow eyes watched the grypho'ns milling around the guardian's feet. Tilting her head to one side, Blanche preened her black beak out from behind a few long locks of wavy brown hair. They didn't look too dangerous. Pressing her paws neatly underneath her head, the gryphon nervously opened her beak - a soft crooning sound being heard from the back of her throat.
That would tell if they were dangerous. Her tail swished against Emi's back, keeping her eye on the cheetah and rabbit gryphons. Wow, the little white one even had an almost white body just like her!

Oleo chirped back to the small gryphon as soon as he heard the sound 'what are u doing up there, come down!, come down!' he said jumping up and down from side to side flapping his wings. However he flew over until he was in front of her flapping his wings, unable to wait. 'Hello!'
Keen simply stared from the floor.
"Ah, thanks, this is a beautiful shell" said Air smiling and holding it tightly to her chest, she was now in a giddy mood. One of the items she needed finally on her hands. "Want to come inside? maybe I could offer u something to drink?" Seeing as Oleo hadn't met that many Aerandir she tought this was a good time to make some more friends.

Blanche clicked in surprise once Oleo was only a few inches away from her. He certainly was forward! Her golden eyes watched him bob up and down, well: he certainly wasn't dangerous. Taking a bounding leap into mid-air, her wings un-furled at either side of her. Large speckled wings staying leant out to catch the breeze to glide.
In truth, she would have preferred to stay on Emi's shoulders, but if he was flying - she may as well join him. Gliding in a circle, she flapped just once or twice, beating her wings to bob up beside him - crooning in welcome back over towards the rabbit Aerandir. Her croon may not have been as confident as his, but she was trying: anyway, curiosity about meeting another gryphon had over taken any thoughts of danger by now.
"Glad you like it," Emi commented. She knew what it was like to have another item ticked off your list. Her ears flickered at the offer: well, she'd left Toby at home asleep. Twenty minutes for Blanche to have a play and her to meet another guardian couldn't hurt now, or could it?
"Oh, thank you. Yes, I think I'll take you up on that offer," Tail swishing along the wooden porch behind her like a puppies might, Emi shifted her weight back to both paws. Now the shell had been delivered she found herself relaxing, the item had been just fine.
Inside? Blanche recognized the signs of Emi relaxing, maybe they'd find out more about this gryphon. Her large wings flapped once more, not as used to holding up her light weight as apparently Oleo's was. In truth, she was rather impressed Oleo could hold up flight without getting tired for so long.

Oleo chirped at white Aerandir in greeting he was happy having met another gryph, and now that he was sure he had her confidence he went back to the ground. Keen dashed to greet him and waited for the white gryph to come down.
Air moved away from the door to let Emi come in and took her towards the chairs in the kitchen. She walked over to the fridge and opened the small door "Uh, lemonade, water?"... "by the way, were u the one that posted a note in the lodge? questing for for some things yourself?" For some reason she felt comfortable around her, she didn't seem like a bad person at all. Talking to her just came naturally.

Oleo walked towards Blanche and nipped lightly on her ear in greeting. Keen however stayed back and just clicked her beak. Oleo's wings were now folded on his back, he wa still tired after the cleaning, but he could not get over the fact that they had visits at the moment.
Air poured some lemonde on a pair of glasses and handed one to the girl. "If that's Blanche then you are, Emiko? I'm not that good at remembering names" she smiled sheepishly. "Ah well, I have some cloth if you still need that, Oleo and Keen had some fun eating part of it, so it's pretty much... not a blanket anymore" she said with a smile, even tough she was still a bit mad at the gryphs for doing such a thing.
Keen went inside the house and jumped into the carboard box on the corner, leaving Blanche and Oleo by themselves.

Large yellow eyes shut tightly as he nipped on her ear, half expecting a p***k of pain to rack through her ears. Yet, Oleo did it so lightly she only just felt it. Her large ears flickered where they were, that was the strangest welcome yet. She found herself glancing back, and meeting the gaze of her guardian. Was she sure this gryphon would be ok?
Not that good at remembering names? The furry woman gratefully took the glass between both furry hands, sipping at the cool liquid. Smiling came far easier now, and some cloth - even if it had once been a blanket - for Blanche's quest would be great. "I haven't had any problems with Blanche chewing, and hopefully won't ever have any. Some cloth would be great though, if you have it lying around," She commented - completely forgetting the matter of introducing herself for the moment. It wasn't until she met Blanche's gaze that she remembered.
Flashing an encouraging smile at the white gryphon, Emi settled the drink back down into her lap. "Most people call me Emi, Emiko can be a little bit of a mouthful." It was true, the one syllable word was far easier than her three fully bound syllable name.
Watching the other gryphon dive into the cardboard box inside the house, Blanche's muscles slowly relaxed. Pushing one paw in front of the other, she inspected Oleo over. He had pitch white and black fur just like her! Apart from the red strip on his head, but then that didn't matter. Pawing one careful paw out, she jauntily watched him: he could play pounce and tussle!
Bounding down, she released her bottom paws. Leaning over in a pouncing position, her tail (almost comically) wagged in the air.

Oleo jumped in excitement as soon as he saw the other gryphon take such a playfull position. He jumped a few steps back and did the same as her, his wings now a bit outstretched so he could jump farther if needed. He chirped in excitement awaiting her next move. Keen came out of the cardboard box pulling at the paw of a plush bear that was at least two times larger than herself. She dragged it all the ways towards the kitchen were she could watch Air and Emi, and laid down on top of it. "Emi, yes, that's even easier. I'm glad I remembered... Oleo's just, a bit hyper, if I dunt keep him busy he finds ways to entertained himself." Ah yes, she just remembered, her kitchen window was still broken from the time she gave Oleo some balls to play with. "Just give me a minute, I'll go get the blanket right now." She said walking away after sipping some of the lemonade on her own glass. She quickly dissappeared through the ladder which she had learned to climb rather quickly now. After a few minutes, and some ripping noises, she appeared again comming down the ladder. Some cloth nicely folded on her shoulder. "And to think this was my favorite blanket". She walked back to the kichen and placed it on the small table for Emi to pick before she went away. Cloth

Apparently he was just fine. Blanche clicked happily as he jumped around, falling down into the same position. Would he even know how to play this? Assuming yes, of course, he did know how to play Blanche bounded forwards - soft paws making easy work of rushing towards the smaller gryphon.
It got to the point where she was only a few centimeters away before she jumped, nimble paws flying in the air. If Oleo had to run, it would have been now, where there was plenty of time to dash away before he was successfully - or unsuccessfully pounced upon. Tail wagging, Blanche's own wings stayed furled right against both of her white sides: She didn't want to hurt Oleo after all.
"I'm lucky in that way, Blanche can be quite the mundane little character," She had been about to say something before Air climbed up the ladder. Flicking her tail behind her, Emi glanced around the little kitchen - her attention falling onto Keen (who was presently dragging the plush along the floor). The plush was massive - though it made her note to make Oleo and Keen a plush of their own when she had the next opportunity. She didn't get long to think, her large ears pinning briefly back to her head as the sound of ripping evacuated from the floor above, only to end with Air appearing once more.
"Thank you, I'll make sure Blanche puts it to good use. If you don't mind me asking, what animals make up your Aerandir?" Emi questioned conversationally.

Oleo quickly dashed back and then forwards towards Blanche, he didn't want to be jumped on after all. He pawed at Blanche's head when he was close enough. 'This is like playing tag with Keen' he tought. His paws lacked the pad most other animals had, making the touch of Oleo's paws seem pretty much like the touch of a bunch of cotton.
Air was glad the cloth would be useful to someone else, a blanket with holes did not work like a blanket at all. "Do you mean Oleo? he's a hotot rabbit, hairy woodpecker mix. I suppose he got his playful nature from the rabbit and that destroying nature from the woodpecker, he just has to try everything." She smiled, "and what about little Blanche? I can make out an owl of some sort but can't really figure out the other one" she smiled, taking a drink from her lemonade once more.

So he didn't want to play pounce? The lithe Aerandir almost doubled up as Oleo pawed at her head. His paws were just like hers, without the pads. Maybe they had more in common than they had first thought. If she could have smiled, she would have done: tag was just as good. She knew she wasn't about to win, but she could try all the same.
Clicking her beak together, Blanche turned on the spot, waiting for him to dash off: so she could chase him. Rearing her paws up, the white fox Aerandir swished her tail from one side to the other behind her; little ears flickering momentarily back towards her white feathered head. Now, just to wait for him to run.
"Woodpeckers are renowned for it," Taking another sip from the rim of her glass, Emi watched the two of them prance around in their game. Letting her ears slowly flicker back from her head, she grinned happily back up towards Air. Oleo was a lovely mix, despite being so playful and apparently destructive.
"He's lovely though. Blanche is an arctic fox and owl mix," She commented, letting her tail swish along the floor behind her. So if that was Oleo, who was the little gryphon lying on the floor?

Oleo ran off going in circles around the floor, if Blanche got too close he could always try to increase his speed. He jumped every now and then out of mere excitement. 'Catch me! Catch me!' was all that went through his his mind, if Blanche took too long to catch him he would give her a chance so he could chase her instead.
"If they weren't Aerandir we could easily asume Blanche is Oleo's natural predator" Air said laughing, "ah well, good thing they get along" she smiled. She saw Taley look at Keen and immediatly said, "I found her near the forest edge, I can only assume she's half cheeta, no idea about the bird tough. I don't really know birds that much"
((EDIT: have to dissappear again, I should be back in about an hour D: ))
