Clothing: The usual fancy dress and white dance shoes with her hair up in a nice bun. This is the dress she'll be wearing during the scavenger hunt. She is also always wearing this ring, this ring, this ring, four silver bangles, this ankle bracelet, and a silver heart locket with small pink jewels.

Hobbies/Passions: Dancing, playing the oboe, reading, shopping, trying on and buying pretty dresses, creating smoke people to make Claudine's servants scream (What? It's funny to hear the men scream like little girls!).
Personality: Modest yet confident, quiet and shy until she warms up to someone.
Powers: Seraphine is able to summon either dancing fairies or wisps of smoke shaped like people to dance along with her or entice others to dance along. Also, when she plays a certain tune on her oboe it can force things (or people) to dance.

Excerpt: "I'm running. I don't think I'll stop for awhile yet. I don't think I can stop. They're chasing me, shouting something about witches. What'd I do wrong? I can't remember. Maybe it was the day I set the mayor's house on fire with just a flick of my mind. I didn't mean to.

I'm lost now but I can still hear them yelling after me. Why did I have to live in a farmer village, with all their working tools? But they won't catch me now. Even though my lungs are burning and my legs feel like they might collapse, I can keep running to the end of the world.

I can hear them falling behind, and almost stop, but I can't. I can't even see the ground underneath my feet, let alone stop. Where is the ground? There's just darkness beneath me. Am I dead? I glance behind me and see feathers. Massive black wings coming out of my back. Does that mean I really am a witch? But then the thought leaves my mind, along with my memories, flowing out of me like a drain, leaving me empty.

But my legs are tired and I could swear I've gone beyond the end of the world. I almost gratefully unfold my wings, lifting them up and beating them, attempting my first clumsy flight. There is no wind here but I'm flying. Away from my memories, I'm flying."

Excerpt: I might be lengthening it since that whole part of the book is hilarious, but for now:

Forgotten's name: Thanes
Daemon's name: Rotary

About the Forgotten: Brown hair with irregular streaks of gray, rose pink colored eyes, Caucasian, very thin almost to the point of looking unattractive (almost being the key word), and he is kind of lacking a right arm. His clothing is usually something comfortable, and possibly Victorian. For this adventure probably a dress shirt, and non-descript black pants. Riding boots. The basics of Thanes' personality is that he is a rather calculated, egotistical young man. He rarely sees others as equals. He is very intelligent, though, which is usually a plus. Thanes is a wizard in training, so his powers are pretty here and there. It depends on if he can get them to listen to him.

About the Daemon: Rotary is a Mimic, meaning she basically looks like a treasure chest. Red, with gold lining and designs. She does have two black, scaled legs that she can hobble around on. She also has two bat like black wings, though they're usually just folded to get them out of the way of her feet. If her lid does open, you can see the real Rotary inside, which is basically a shadowy creature with blood red eyes. All else is pretty much just known to her and Thanes. Rotary is mostly just a tempermental, if caring daemon. She is not the type to argue with her Forgotten, but she would with anyone else on his behalf. She's a lot more compassionate than Thanes, and that's often what keeps him in check. Powers? A little flight, and she can hold inside her trunk almost anything Thanes needs.
